I appreciated that she took the time to go over each step of the procedure, explaining why it was important to have it done. She also performed a deep cleaning and started me on Invisalign. I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. I’ve only been here for a checkup but I’m already very impressed with Big Apple Dental. I was running late, so they only had time for the checkup and told me to come back for the cleaning, but I still can’t believe how caring they were, they really took time to listen to my questions and concerns. The dentist in Wyandanch was very thorough when he went through my x-rays, he explained everything that was going on with my mouth. The hygienist was great too, he went through everything with me, and especially explained the effects of my teeth grinding to me. I never knew I grind my teeth at night, but it helped me realize the cause of a lot of the issues I was having with my teeth. The staff could tell I was anxious so they tried to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Everyone there was very detail oriented and caring. I love this place, and I am actually looking forward to going back, which is weird to say about the dentist.

A co-worker recommended Dr. Yakobashvili and now I’ve been to only him for three years. Everyone who works here, and them, are kind and caring. I usually hate going to the dentist, but I don’t mind it now. Dr. Yakobashvili recently filled a cavity for me and it went great. They listened to my concerns when I told them that the numbing shot doesn’t work that well on me and that they would need to give the most they possibly could. I’m so glad I didn’t feel a thing. They gave me a blanket because I was cold, which I was very thankful for and nitrous oxide since it was my first time getting a cavity filled. I don’t know which helped more, the nitrous oxide or the deep breaths, but I left feeling very satisfied. I’m probably paying more than what I could be at some other place, but you really do get quality service here. Going cheap in the past didn’t work out for me.

I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

Dr. Cosentino is awesome. I left his office feeling happy, and I usually hate the dentist and am never a good patient, especially when I have a toothache. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Rafya Sandhu for 5 years. She has always been very upfront with me about the services I require. She is also genuinely passionate about her job, which really puts you at ease. I can’t say enough good things about Smile by Choice. They do great work and are great people. This dentist office in the Upper West Side, Manhattan was right down the street from my office, and so I started going here about 3 months ago. I now work downtown Manhattan, but I still come here for the great dental service. I love going to my cleanings twice a year. I’ve never missed a dental appointment. Smile by Choice is very high quality dentistry in New York, NY. They have vaulted ceilings that let in natural light, the latest and greatest in technology, and an awesome staff that is very nice and easy to talk to. Going to the dentist can often seem like a chore, but this class makes it easy and even dare I say enjoyable. You’ll always feel like you got the best cleaning here, which is often not the case. And it’s never painful. Scraping tools can often be unpleasant, but they use an ultrasonic cleaning method that is very calming. They even give you a warm towel when you’re done with your cleaning, which seemed very first class to me!

What a great environment from the front desk to the dentist. There were no surprises about fees or costs. Dr. Alan Rosen took his time to explain all the options and how they would affect my wallet. He even went over my X-rays. I felt very content in my decisions and the vibes the staff gave; there is no pressure to get anything fixed right away. Discount rates and payment options were laid out neatly before me. I can’t say I’m looking forward to seeing them, but if I must attend, they will be the ones I come to from now on.
