Dr. Borgella is simply amazing. Everyone is personable and great at their jobs. You feel welcome from the moment you walk in to the time you leave back out into the streets of the Bronx . Thinking of mothers when I say that although strollers are probably welcome. I would recommend not bringing it, but that's just my two cents. The waiting room was great though! This dentist office in the Upper West Side, Manhattan was right down the street from my office, and so I started going here about 3 months ago. I now work downtown Manhattan, but I still come here for the great dental service. I love going to my cleanings twice a year. I’ve never missed a dental appointment. They have vaulted ceilings that let in natural light, the latest and greatest in technology, and an awesome staff that is very nice and easy to talk to. Going to the dentist can often seem like a chore, but this class makes it easy and even dare I say enjoyable. You’ll always feel like you got the best cleaning here, which is often not the case. And it’s never painful. Scraping tools can often be unpleasant, but they use an ultrasonic cleaning method that is very calming. They even give you a warm towel when you’re done with your cleaning, which seemed very first class to me!

The staff makes this office feel so warm, and everyone is so willing to help you. The office is excellent, and they allowed me to watch some shows on my phone to ease my anxiety. My aunt referred me to Dr. Lerner’s practice. I'd been in pain for over a month, so it was a relief to learn that they could schedule me for an appointment the very next day. When I arrived, the staff greeted me very pleasantly. I barely waited 5 minutes before being taken back to get worked on; however, they apologized profusely for being “late.” After getting x-rays taken, I met Dr. Lerner, who was very understanding of my dental anxiety. He kept me very comfortable during the exam. I went back the following week for a root canal, which was painless. Although Dr. Lerner said that it was possible I would have pain the next day, I didn't feel a thing. I will be going in for another appointment later this week, and surprisingly, I’m not anxious. That’s a first. I have since referred multiple friends to Dr. Lerner's office. It's only fair to tell others about the great customer service.

I now have a completely different perspective on dentistry. I love my smile and no longer need to be pushed to get the procedures done that I require. Dr. Kaufman is very honest and efficient. Even after I switch to a cheaper dental plan, he was still willing to work with me to make sure that my needs were met. They offer pretty flexible appointment times, and you barely have to wait. However, even if there is a small wait, it's worth it. It's nice to know that I have found a doctor who truly cares about my oral health and making sure that the costs are reasonable. I cannot imagine going anywhere else!
