This place is awesome, I always feel comfortable when I’m here. The entire staff and Dr. Aknouk are great. You can really tell they love their jobs. I’ve had Dr. Aknouk put in my gold inlay replaced my old silver fillings with porcelain computer-made filling. They’re both very friendly. I had an emergency a couple months ago when my daughter had her front tooth knocked out and Dr. Aknouk came in on his day off to do a root canal on her. This clinic is wonderful, I would highly recommend it and won’t be going anywhere else.

I have a fear of dentist offices and anything relating to dentistry. I have avoided dental work I've needed done for years. This morning, I needed to have a wisdom tooth extracted that was infected and giving me awful pain. From the start of the day when I called to inquire if Dr. Borgella was available, I was greeted kindly by the awesome staff person who answered the phone. She confirmed my insurance was accepted there, even giving an idea of what I'd pay for an extraction. Upon arriving in at Dr. Borgella’s office in Bronx, she nicely greeted me and proceeded to give me the paperwork to complete as a new patient. This is what was stunning to me, I was seen on time!! I went in, got my cleaning and met the dentist, Dr. Borgella, who was nice, informative, and clear. They told me things I needed done, in addition to the extraction, but did not pressure this as an upsell. Surgery was easy and quick! The only thing that hurt was getting the anesthesia in the roof of my mouth. Ten hours later, I have absolutely no pain, wow! I will be back to Dr. Borgella DDS. Everyone in the office was kind and professional and the prices are right on point.

I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

I've been going to another dentist for YEARS prior to making this switch and I must say, that the old dentist was losing his touch. Just a cleaning, in and out in fewer than 20 minutes… my teeth still did not feel too clean. My mom told me to go to Queens Central Dental in Jackson Heights and see Dr. Ames. Upon meeting them, they were all personable and funny, making going to the dentist quite enjoyable. End of the day they were thorough and efficient. They are now working with me for my braces and orthodontic care. My chompers are looking fly.

Dr. Sandhu and the staff are truly exceptional by being welcoming and being on time with their appointment schedules. I am totally satisfied with the way my visit went to Shay Dental. When I went, I was nervous because I hadn’t been to a dentist in almost 15 years. They still made me feel right at home. When I talked to Dr. Shay, I knew I found the right place. He was very knowledgeable and kind and he answered all of my questions. His examination was thorough, and he took the time to give me in-depth explanations. We discussed what my priorities were, and he pointed out what was most important learned how my insurance worked and how much I’d have to pay per visit. We also talked about financing, which was helpful because of how much work I needed. The office helped me through the process and put me at ease with how much it costs and how long it will take. I don’t normally write reviews online, but I had such an amazing recent visit at Soft Touch Dental Care in Forest Hills, NY that I wanted to tell people about it. I’m a regular patient at Soft Touch, but I usually only go in for routine cleanings. But this time I was in a lot of pain and needed help. I called on a Tuesday during after-hours and they got me in the next morning at 7:30 a.m.. The staff was very kind and gentle with me. Dr. Normatov has a very comfortable office. She is very caring and kind. I actually fell asleep in the chair, that’s how comfortable I was. She provides excellent care. I have zero pain now, and I didn’t have any pain while she was working on me. I can’t thank Dr. Normatov and her staff enough.

She’s very personal, she always remembers what’s going on in her patients’ lives. My aunt referred me to Dr. Lerner’s practice. I'd been in pain for over a month, so it was a relief to learn that they could schedule me for an appointment the very next day. When I arrived, the staff greeted me very pleasantly. I barely waited 5 minutes before being taken back to get worked on; however, they apologized profusely for being “late.” After getting x-rays taken, I met Dr. Lerner, who was very understanding of my dental anxiety. He kept me very comfortable during the exam. I went back the following week for a root canal, which was painless. Although Dr. Lerner said that it was possible I would have pain the next day, I didn't feel a thing. I will be going in for another appointment later this week, and surprisingly, I’m not anxious. That’s a first. I have since referred multiple friends to Dr. Lerner's office. It's only fair to tell others about the great customer service.

He even went over my X-rays. I felt very content in my decisions and the vibes the staff gave; there is no pressure to get anything fixed right away.
