I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. He is affordable and whenever I call about dental problems they’re able to get me in on the same day. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you need a dentist in the Bronx.

I hate going to the dentist and hadn’t been for a decade. But then I decided to go to Dr. Gross, and I’m so glad I did. The greatest dentist in the Bronx. The dental hygienist was kind and knowledgeable. She made me feel very comfortable, and I didn’t even tell her how much I hate the dentist. She made x-rays easy, and adjusted things when I told her I was in pain. She was easy to talk to and helped me understand everything that was going on. The dentist saw me before my cleaning, which I actually liked. He made me feel comfortable and a lot less anxious. I didn’t have to sit there and worry about if I had a cavity or not during the appointment. He checked right away. He was kind and fast. Thank you Dr. Gross and the staff.

Searching for a new dentist? Head over to Dr. Vinjamuri in the Bronx. The great reviews are spot on. Dr. Vinjamuri and his staff are awesome! I’ve been coming here for years and have always received incredible dental care. Before I came here, however, I hadn’t been to the dentist in at least a year, so I needed some cavities filled. But when Dr. Vinjamuri did it, I felt relaxed and pain free. He explained everything he did as he did it, and he even asked if I wanted to see my tooth halfway through the procedure, which was pretty awesome. He said that my last dentist used the wrong filling, so he fixed it for me. While I was getting my second cavity filling, I nearly passed out after they numbed me up due to my heart (it happens all the time), but they were so supportive and kind about it all. They eased me back into consciousness and gave me some oxygen and juice. Even though nearly passing out wasn’t a big deal to me, I am so thankful for the kind gesture. They genuinely care about their patients here. After Dr. Vinjamuri filled my cavities and fixed the filling on my other tooth, I’m happy to report that I’ve had no issues with my teeth. My tooth used to be pressure sensitive, but I don’t feel any discomfort anymore.

I have a fear of dentist offices and anything relating to dentistry. I have avoided dental work I've needed done for years. This morning, I needed to have a wisdom tooth extracted that was infected and giving me awful pain. From the start of the day when I called to inquire if Dr. Borgella was available, I was greeted kindly by the awesome staff person who answered the phone. She confirmed my insurance was accepted there, even giving an idea of what I'd pay for an extraction. Upon arriving in at Dr. Borgella’s office in Bronx, she nicely greeted me and proceeded to give me the paperwork to complete as a new patient. This is what was stunning to me, I was seen on time!! I went in, got my cleaning and met the dentist, Dr. Borgella, who was nice, informative, and clear. They told me things I needed done, in addition to the extraction, but did not pressure this as an upsell. Surgery was easy and quick! The only thing that hurt was getting the anesthesia in the roof of my mouth. Ten hours later, I have absolutely no pain, wow! I will be back to Dr. Borgella DDS. Everyone in the office was kind and professional and the prices are right on point.

Amazing dentist. The staff and team here at Glad Dental are the best you will find! Every single visit they do great at making me feel so happy and relaxed. The dentist, Dr. Datikashvili, is a rock star! She is confident and well versed in her trade. My filling and root canal were both way cheaper here than anywhere else too! All in all, I was in and out in under 90 minutes for BOTH appointments. My teeth and all the cavities and root canals are finished and for that, I am insanely grateful. Very good at answering all my questions. I highly recommend this place and will be returning to the Bronx to get my work done in the future.

When you are missing a tooth, it is essential to fill in the gap as quickly as possible. While there are notable aesthetic benefits, replacing your tooth can also help fortify the health of your gums and mouth in general. The process of filling in the gap may seem intimidating, but a bridge is a simple yet effective way to restore either one missing tooth or several that are besides one another. If you are looking for a dental professional in Bronx, NY that is in-network with your insurance we can help you find one that can restore missing teeth with a fixed partial denture.

When you visit your Bronx oral healthcare provider, they can decide if a dental bridge is right for you. As noted, dental bridges are frequently used when someone has either a single missing tooth or a few missing teeth next to one another. This is because this prosthetic is usually supported by existing teeth that are outfitted with crowns to provide increased support. Because it is held in place by existing dentition, this option is a long-lasting solution.

Porcelain bridges are often made with advanced, bio-compatible porcelain that looks just like your real teeth. This ensures that your prosthetic seamlessly fits in with the rest of your smile. Before your custom bridge is made, your dental professional will take detailed images of your teeth, so it will be crafted to your exact needs. If you would like to schedule an appointment with a Bronx dentist that is in-network with your insurance, we can help you find a fantastic one.

When a tooth is severely damaged, it could become an infected tooth. The presence of infection means serious discomfort, and without intervention, it could lead to tooth loss. This is why your tooth may need treatment. Fortunately, there are options available to treat an infection. Our network can help connect you to a Bronx dental professional for endodontic treatment. We can also help find an endodontist that accepts self-pay patients.

A dental infection means that harmful anaerobic bacteria have made contact with interior nerve tissues. The pulp is the nerve center of the tooth, and it keeps the tooth healthy. Lack of intervention for an abscess could allow symptoms to grow worse. A common warning sign of trouble could include toothaches. Don’t ignore a potential symptom. Talk to our team about finding a Bronx endodontist who accepts self-pay patients and other dental insurance plans.

A root canal procedure is a gentle endodontic treatment that can be completed in one sitting. Essentially, after the root canal specialist numbs the tooth, the infected tissues are removed from within. The interior of the tooth is cleaned, and a special restorative material is added. The last step involves capping the tooth with a porcelain or metal crown. The cap is designed to protect the tooth and appear esthetically pleasing. This treatment stops the spread of infection.

Improved diet and oral hygiene habits can help lower your risk of future caries and dental infections. Routine six-month visits help as well. If you’re looking for root canal therapy in Bronx for an infected tooth, talk to Doctors Network or book an online appointment. You have options, and we know how to find practices that accept self-pay patients.

Have you lost the majority of your natural teeth? If so, this could mean poor oral health, from trouble eating a variety of foods, to difficulties talking. Your jaw loses bone mass following tooth loss, which could lead to the loss of additional teeth. In some cases, a prematurely aged appearance could develop as well. You could benefit from implant dentures not only to replace missing teeth, but also to preserve your facial structures. But what if your jaw is too weak for a set of implant-secured dentures? Then Doctors Network can recommend a Bronx family dentist who specializes in All-On-4 procedure.

Most fixed dentures need between six and eight implants per arch. But with All-on-4, just four implants are required. Even if your jaw is too weak for a traditional system this could still support a full set of dentures. No need to undergo jawbone grafting or sinus lifts beforehand! These can also often be placed with a denture connected to them on the same visit. In fact, these are often known as Teeth-In-A-Day. Our team can help find best cosmetic dentists in Bronx who can provide you with a new smile. You can even book a dental appointment.

If you have a limited budget, then consider registering for our Direct Dental Plan. Our simple membership program allows you to pay a small monthly fee, which is set by your dentist, to save significantly on the cost of cosmetic dentistry. This helps our Bronx patients find affordable dental care, and obtain healthier smiles.

Tooth cavities are common oral diseases, and without treatment could lead to tender infections or even the increased risk of tooth abscess. When you have tooth pain that continues for more than a day, then you likely have a tooth decay that needs a tooth bonding or an amalgam filling. If you have toothaches, and you need to find a dental professional near you who treats patients with no insurance, search for dental offices in Bronx on Doctors Network.

Dental caries form when the outer layer of enamel is weakened. The destruction of the enamel often occurs due to lack of good oral hygiene habits, such as not brushing and flossing frequently enough. A diet high in sugary foods is another common factor. Once dental caries forms, it will grow unless treated, and lack of treatment could actually mean worsening pain and an abscessed tooth. Signs of tooth decay include dental pain. When you experience pain in a tooth, don’t delay. Our network can help connect you with a dentist in Bronx for caries risk assessment.

Treating a case of tooth decay often means placing a white filling or an amalgam filling. First, the dentist will remove the bacteria from the tooth. Next, silver or gold or composite resin material is applied to the tooth. The dentist then shapes the material as it hardens. The entire process only takes one appointment. A tooth filling helps stop discomfort and protects the smile from complications such as infections. If you need to find out the tooth filling cost with no insurance in Bronx, NY, then talk to Doctors Network. You can even sign up for a dental plan and set up a dentist appointment online. We can help you find the right dentist for your oral health needs!

It is crucial for kids to visit the dentist every six months for checkups and cleanings. By teaching your kids great oral health habits, you are ensuring that they have the knowledge to have healthy smiles for ever. If you are looking for a kids dentist in Bronx who takes uninsured patients, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering examinations and cleanings, pediatric dentists on Doctors Network also provide your kids with dental sealants. These are thin pieces of film that go over their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a protective layer between their adult molars and bacteria. This ultimately prevents the risk of tooth decay by up to eighty percent. It is a simple procedure that is very effective at preventing cavities in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another proven tool that your dentists provide. Fluoride is a natural mineral that helps strengthen your children’s enamel layer. While enamel is one of the most durable substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your kid’s teeth become more susceptible to dental caries. Fluoride treatment helps stop decay from occurring. Using high-fluoride toothpaste can also help. For more information, please schedule an appointment with one of our dental practices in Bronx.
