I’m terrified of the dentist, so I’d rather do just about anything else. Though I still don’t like going to my dental visits, Everlasting Smiles Dental is the best dentist near me, and I’ve been to a lot of them! In my previous experiences, I either discovered a fantastic staff with a horrible dentist or a great dentist with a terrible hygienist and office staff who made you feel like a burden. But Dr. Afridi’s dental practice is the best of both worlds. The staff is so friendly and kind, and the super-professional hygienists put your comfort first. The receptionist/bookkeeper always helps me navigate my insurance and what I owe as well as scheduling appointments. All the great reviews are true. Though I did wait a little bit, I’ve had to wait longer at other places, and I guarantee they only made me wait because patients weren’t coming in on time, which will push back all the other appointments after it. Or maybe Dr. Afridi was tending to an emergency and wanted to make sure his patient was being taken care of. I would happily wait a long time if needed just to get the high level of service and dental care this place has to offer, knowing that once I get in the dental chair, they won’t rush me out to keep on schedule. I just moved to Franklin Park, NY and needed a new dentist. My first visit to Dr. Babayev and BH Franklin Dental was incredible. Everyone was kind and knowledgeable. They showed me several techniques to improve my oral health. They even scheduled my finance and I for a whitening package before our wedding so that we will have perfect smiles on our big day. The price for a couple was very affordable.

I’d heard an advertisement on the radio and decided to give Dr. Hassid a shot. The ad said to come in no matter how scared of the dentist you were, and I have an extreme phobia. I needed my teeth cleaned and even some teeth extracted. Dr. Hassid did a double root canal, a couple bridges, and some implants. The receptionist staff was kind and everyone here was very helpful, from the office staff, to the dentist, to the dental assistants. They were all very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like family coming here, and anyone in the area should check them out.

They are easy to talk to and want to get to know you and your dental health. This helps him understand what treatments you’ll need and how to prevent future issues. His staff is full of true professionals, and they’re all kind and knowledgeable. I recently had shoulder surgery and then went into the dentist a couple weeks later. I was so sensitive that even getting slightly bumped in the shoulder would cause severe pain. They really listened to my concern, and never bumped me, even though they were working on me for an hour. I used to wince at the thought of going to the dentist, but since coming to Dr. Kaufman's practice, I find going to the dentist to be a very pleasurable experience. The location is very convenient. The staff is very comforting and personable. Dr. Kaufman patiently answers questions and discusses any concerns. I appreciate the fact that he makes sure each of his patients is informed about his/her procedures. I even convinced my boyfriend to schedule an appointment. He has been to the same dentist for over a decade but decided to switch, and now he wishes he had made the change a long time ago. Dr. Sandhu and her staff were very professional and kind to stay open for me on a Friday evening when my rotten tooth hurt so bad that I thought I couldn’t stand the pain any longer. I really needed a new dentist when I found this place, I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. The office is spotless and organized. It is small, but I don’t mind that. They treat you like an individual here, and they aren’t worried about treating as many patients as possible. They treat you like a human being. The front office staff is helpful and nice. They will call you to remind you about your upcoming appointment and will even do a follow-up call a couple days after your appointment. Dr. Normatov is awesome. I came in for a deep cleaning and a checkup and she was very professional and easy to talk to, which made me feel comfortable and satisfied with the service I received. She did the cleaning herself, which is something I wasn’t expecting. We even got to talk about food. Again, she’s easy to talk to and really knows her stuff. I’m actually excited to go back and see her.

A co-worker recommended Dr. Thomopoulos when I moved to Rego Park in 2017, and I love it there. They truly care about their patients and make sure your comfortable when you’re getting your dental work done. A filling that was less than 6 months old broke one day and I was able to schedule an appointment with them almost immediately. The hygienists are very nice and easy to talk to. The hygienist seems to truly care about my health, she has given me a lot of advice on how to make sure my teeth stay healthy and how to avoid plaque and tartar build up in troublesome areas. Can the dentist actually be fun? Yes! Go to Dr. Mangiaracina, and you’ll see. When I go here, my teeth are cleaned with such great care. The staff is both friendly and helpful. Plus, Dr. Mangiaracina is reasonable; she doesn’t try to pressure you to get unnecessary services. She is very honest about all your options. I’ve already recommended that my friends and family switch to Dr. Mangiaracina.

Incredible! The hygienist, is great and Dr. Ames is a skilled dentist and an awesome person. They were super accommodating to me when I was late due to classic Jackson Heights traffic. They are very family friendly and everyone in the Queens Central Dental practice is super pleasant in conversation. I brought my baby with me because I was on maternity leave and had not one to watch him and they were 100% accommodating. They completed my cleaning while he was in his car seat, and when he got upset, they let him sit with me! I got a cleaning done, quickly followed by two cavities filled. One cavity took longer to fill than expected and they were so nice about it, and then they scheduled an early appointment for me to get the other filled on another day. Top choice moving forward – highly recommend Queens Central Dental.

My daughter and I started going to Dr. Minkowitz in Maspeth a couple months ago. A couple friends recommended them, so I thought we’d give them a shot. We’ve been very satisfied so far. The front office staff is nice and helpful when it comes to scheduling around our busy schedules, billing insurance, and figuring out the headache that is payments. The hygienists always do a great job and give me great tips about my dental health. Dr. Minkowitz is very nice. I’ve gotten a couple crowns and other dental work done by him. It’s really been great. He even offered to give me a new mouth guard without charging me because he thought I might like a thinner one. My 10 year old daughter also loves this place. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

In my opinion, most dental offices aren’t worth 5 stars, but Queens Dental Care is the best in Jackson Heights. Convenient location and clean, cozy office are a plus. The staff is personable, and they never keep you waiting more than 10 minutes. Compared to other dental practices, that’s very punctual. I was able to get an appointment a few days from when I called. Dr. Sanhu and her assistant are informative. They helped make the experience as comfortable as could be. I’m thrilled to have found my family dentist. I’ll be back in 6 months for a checkup and cleaning.

This place is awesome, I always feel comfortable when I’m here. The entire staff and Dr. Aknouk are great. You can really tell they love their jobs. I’ve had Dr. Aknouk put in my gold inlay replaced my old silver fillings with porcelain computer-made filling. They’re both very friendly. I had an emergency a couple months ago when my daughter had her front tooth knocked out and Dr. Aknouk came in on his day off to do a root canal on her. This clinic is wonderful, I would highly recommend it and won’t be going anywhere else.

I can’t help but say amazing things about Dr. Stuart Kaminsky DDS. This was the best experience and most comprehensive exam I’ve ever had. The exceptional staff is very efficient and provides a comfortable atmosphere. They also don’t try to pressure you to buy additional services. It’s the best you could hope for in a dentist. I have been really impressed with Dr. Kalyanaraman at G.K. Raman DDS, and I just can’t believe the couple of reviews that are negative. This is an incredibly busy dental office that’s always packed with patients. Dr. Kalyanaraman and his staff work so hard to accommodate everyone’s needs--I guess you just can’t please everyone. Dr. Kalyanaraman is very skilled, and his staff is very pleasant. The prices are affordable, too. I’ve introduced my friends’ kids to this place, and they absolutely love Dr. Kalyanaraman. He’s seen hundreds of patients, and his skills are outstanding.

I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

I'll say it...THE BEST DENTAL OFFICE IN NYC!!! They have given me so many reasons to remain true. Here recently my husband had an emergency...was in severe pain. I went to Armstrong Dental Studio first thing in the morning and they took care of everything, even though he didn't have an appointment until the night before. They are so courteous and caring. We always have an amazing visit and always looking forward to the next time. Dr. Armstrong always seems so happy to see us and takes time to ask about how things are going. The front desk team is always very friendly and I have no clue how they remember all of our names. It just shows their dedication to customer service. I soooo adore this place!!! Check them out and you will not regret it.

The staff is so helpful at Shay Dental and they make it super easy to make an appointment. I called but then realized the office was closed. The receptionist saw my number on the caller ID and called me back, without me even having to leave a message. How great!! The office is spotless and inviting. I had no trouble parking. It’s right across from the library. Shortly after I walked in, they took me back. I had already filled out my patient information since they had the form online. So helpful! It seems like they never have patients wait long which is good. In the past, I’ve generally had dental hygienists do the cleaning, but not here! Dr. Shay took care of it. He did everything from the cleaning to the x-rays and more! I’ve been debating oral surgery on the suggestion of another doctor, but Dr. Shay gave me his honest and straightforward opinion on it. I appreciate that! He’s so approachable. For anyone that’s in the market in New York, I’d suggest their office!

I can’t say enough good things about Smile by Choice. They do great work and are great people. This dentist office in the Upper West Side, Manhattan was right down the street from my office, and so I started going here about 3 months ago. I now work downtown Manhattan, but I still come here for the great dental service. I love going to my cleanings twice a year. I’ve never missed a dental appointment. Smile by Choice is very high quality dentistry in New York, NY. They have vaulted ceilings that let in natural light, the latest and greatest in technology, and an awesome staff that is very nice and easy to talk to. Going to the dentist can often seem like a chore, but this class makes it easy and even dare I say enjoyable. You’ll always feel like you got the best cleaning here, which is often not the case. And it’s never painful. Scraping tools can often be unpleasant, but they use an ultrasonic cleaning method that is very calming. They even give you a warm towel when you’re done with your cleaning, which seemed very first class to me!

This is especially true if you tell them up front that you don't have insurance. The X-ray, teeth cleaning, and crown sizing experience was very prompt and painless. The crown setting process was also very efficient and painless. I found the staff to be incredibly personable and helpful. I will be recommending Dr. Lerner to all my friends who have also been putting off going to the dentist.

I can honestly say I love Dr. Borgella DDS! I have been seeing Dr. Borgella for 3 years and have referred friends and neighbors - really anyone who has asked in the Bronx area. They treat everyone as though we are family and they even had a baby shower for me when we adopted our daughter. The dentists are caring and gentle and do a wonderful job in partnership with their hygienists and techs. Five stars simply aren?t enough!

Dr. Amir is heaven sent! I called around and got ridiculous prices on consultation fees, then I found Dr. Amir! During my first appointment, Dr. Amir explained each procedure I could get done for my chipped teeth. I felt it was explained honestly and thoroughly about bonding, veneers, and porcelain crowns. And the cost was much less than I’d been quoted at other places. I cannot explain how grateful I am to have met this dentist! For sure the best in the Brooklyn area!

Dr. Reznik and Big Apple Dental had been our dentist in Wyandanch, NY for a long time, so we trusted him. Change can be hard to handle, So when we moved we were sad that we might have to change dentist. But Dr. Reznik is such a great dentist, that we are willing to drive two hours. The office staff is very is very kind and knowledgeable. I’ve had the same hygienist for a while now, and that’s what really matters to me because that is all I really need normally. I’m very lucky that Dr. Reznik is on this dental plan because then my routine cleanings and x-rays are only $25.00!

Has it been 2 years since my last review? Time does fly, but these folks at C K Galdieri only seem to get better over the years. I drive 2 hours to make a morning appt with these folks in Elmwood Park , and it is more than worth it. Dr. Galdieri runs a top-notch dental office; you will not go wrong going to them for a check-up. I have been to other places here in Elmwood Park , but always come back to C K Galdieri! They stay up to date with best techniques, and still find time to treat you not as a "case" or a "file" but as if you are their only client. Dr. Khalil replaced my crown because another dentist didn’t fit it properly. Because of that awful crown, food would get stuck in the gap, so I had a lot of infections over the past few years. Dr. Khalil did a fantastic job replacing my crown. I’ve had it for a few weeks now, and everything feels great. He did such an amazing job that my husband will be seeing him soon, too! Albert A. Khalil DDS (South River, NJ) can correct any dental problem and make you feel infinitely better! If you have any dental issues, let Dr. Khalil take care of them. I’m so happy I trusted him!

I really don’t like the dentist because it’s usually painful and dreadful, but it’s also very necessary. After being to a dentist who rushed me out the door and who didn’t take the time to get to know me at all, I wasn’t too thrilled about finding a new one. I then went to Dr. Khetani at K Dental Smiles in Freehold, NJ, and wow, what a difference! It was actually pretty relaxing and enjoyable with a chill environment and no rushing me out the door. The doctor even did my cleaning, which is really rare! It’s honestly been the best dental experience of my life! Dr. Khetani is hilarious and friendly and does amazing work! She was really patient and told me what was going on in my mouth. She also addressed anything she was concerned about without the pressure - she definitely takes a proactive approach. The receptionist was also so sweet. All in all, they’re just plain awesome. I’ll never see another dentist, so thank you Dr. Khetani and the team! You’ve made a dreadful task more bearable, and I had a fantastic time with you all!
