I was so shocked at how friendly everyone is, the hygienist was so thorough, and Dr. Rosen took his time during the exam to show me my places with issues. They didn’t let me wait very long in the lobby, and even though I was in and out very quickly, I didn’t feel rushed. Everyone in their support staff is terrific. The environment is so pleasant, and everyone seems genuinely happy to be there. The office is impeccably clean and inviting, and the exam rooms seem to be top of the line with the latest equipment. They got me in on the next day and completed all the work that needed to be done such as cleaning, x-rays, and a few fillings.

Dr. Mekawy and their staff gave me information on a dental plan for people who can’t normally afford dental care. That’s just how awesome they are. I went in thinking I had two cavities that needed to be filled. I was in a little bit of pain because of them. I explained what had been going on and gave her a document that my primary dentist in Levittown had given me, which said what dental work I needed. Dr. Ames treats our family of four including the recent addition of elementary school aged children who previously went to a pediatric dentist. This place is awesome, I always feel comfortable when I’m here. The entire staff and Dr. Aknouk are great. You can really tell they love their jobs. I’ve had Dr. Aknouk put in my gold inlay replaced my old silver fillings with porcelain computer-made filling. They’re both very friendly. I had an emergency a couple months ago when my daughter had her front tooth knocked out and Dr. Aknouk came in on his day off to do a root canal on her. They listened to my concerns when I told them that the numbing shot doesn’t work that well on me and that they would need to give the most they possibly could. I’m so glad I didn’t feel a thing. They gave me a blanket because I was cold, which I was very thankful for and nitrous oxide since it was my first time getting a cavity filled. I don’t know which helped more, the nitrous oxide or the deep breaths, but I left feeling very satisfied. I’m probably paying more than what I could be at some other place, but you really do get quality service here. Going cheap in the past didn’t work out for me.

I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

Going to the dentist can often seem like a chore, but this class makes it easy and even dare I say enjoyable. You’ll always feel like you got the best cleaning here, which is often not the case. And it’s never painful. Scraping tools can often be unpleasant, but they use an ultrasonic cleaning method that is very calming. They even give you a warm towel when you’re done with your cleaning, which seemed very first class to me!

All of the staff were happy to explain the reasoning behind their recommendations, listened to my concerns, and worked with me to find the right fit for treatment. I got the sense that Dr. Sebold DDS genuinely cares about each of their patients. I'm definitely recommending Dr. Sebold to friends and family. A couple of additional notes - 1. Dr. Sebold has one of the most well-stocked and comfortable waiting rooms I've ever been in! I'm actually looking forward to waiting before my next visit to the office! Although, the wait times are very short. 2. The front staff are friendly, polite, and well organized! I had to call a couple of times before my appointment because I was running late and my GPS died before I found the Brooklyn office. No problem though, the front desk was very helpful and happy to assist!
