I’m terrified of the dentist, so I’d rather do just about anything else. Though I still don’t like going to my dental visits, Everlasting Smiles Dental is the best dentist near me, and I’ve been to a lot of them! In my previous experiences, I either discovered a fantastic staff with a horrible dentist or a great dentist with a terrible hygienist and office staff who made you feel like a burden. But Dr. Afridi’s dental practice is the best of both worlds. The staff is so friendly and kind, and the super-professional hygienists put your comfort first. The receptionist/bookkeeper always helps me navigate my insurance and what I owe as well as scheduling appointments. All the great reviews are true. Though I did wait a little bit, I’ve had to wait longer at other places, and I guarantee they only made me wait because patients weren’t coming in on time, which will push back all the other appointments after it. Or maybe Dr. Afridi was tending to an emergency and wanted to make sure his patient was being taken care of. I would happily wait a long time if needed just to get the high level of service and dental care this place has to offer, knowing that once I get in the dental chair, they won’t rush me out to keep on schedule. I love going to see Dr. Babayev of BH Franklin Dental. She is efficient and knows exactly what to do to solve any dental problem what you may have. I had a tooth extracted and experienced some pain. When I called the office, Dr. Babayev insisted I come in right away. I appreciated that she took my concerns seriously. She is personable, which really puts me at ease.

I hate the dentist, but Dr. Hassid made me feel very comfortable. I walked in one day, extremely nervous and on the verge of walking out. But the friendly office staff convinced me to stay, and I’m glad I did. The staff and technicians were kind and professional. They made me feel totally comfortable. This is a great dentist in Oakland Gardens NY. They really care about their patients, you and your dental health are their number one priority. They are easy to talk to and want to get to know you and your dental health. This helps him understand what treatments you’ll need and how to prevent future issues. His staff is full of true professionals, and they’re all kind and knowledgeable. I recently had shoulder surgery and then went into the dentist a couple weeks later. I was so sensitive that even getting slightly bumped in the shoulder would cause severe pain. They really listened to my concern, and never bumped me, even though they were working on me for an hour. I saw a Dr. Kaufman today, the Saturday before New Year's Eve, without an appointment because I lost a crown last night. Granted, the crown was over 35 years old and had been done by another dentist, but I still needed it fixed. I expected to have a long wait, but the X-ray process was very efficient. Less than 10 minutes later, I was prepped to see Dr. Kaufman, who numbed me for the procedure. An hour later, I had a new temporary in place and a permanent crown had been ordered. I love the high quality technology they have at this practice. Instead of making an impression of my teeth in clay-filled tray of yore, they used 3D digital imaging to map out my teeth and photograph them for color matching. Same result without all the radiation! Dr. Kaufman was so expeditious and accommodating. Thank you so much!

I had a few awful experiences with dentists when I was younger, which caused me to have very high anxiety in regard to dental offices. Just recently, I started experiencing some pain, and I knew I had to either toughen up and schedule the appointment or live with it. Finally, my partner dragged me to their dentist Dr. Rafya Sandhu at the Westbury Smile Center. I was somewhat worried that my teeth were in horrible shape since it has been years since I have been seen. Dr. Sandhu and her staff reassured me everything was going to be ok, and that it's not nearly as bad as I thought it was. The entire team went out of their way to make me feel comfortable during my visit. I have a feeling that if Dr. Sandhu was my dentist when I was kid, I wouldn’t have so much anxiety or have neglected my teeth as I did. As it turned out, I had some cavities, and they fixed them up quickly. I was also in need of proper scaling. I plan on making this location in Westbury, NY my place for all of my dental needs. I also really enjoy the reminders they send out; it's hard to remember them with my busy schedule. If you are looking for a dentist that takes away your anxieties, this is the office for you!

I searched “Cedarhurst dentist” because I had chipped my first tooth! I had a consultation at a different office, and it made me very uncomfortable. I instead went to Dr. Rosen, on a referral, and I could not be more satisfied. The office is not very fancy, but it is very welcoming. My appointment started at 8:45, but I was back in the chair by 8:35. While the dentist was flossing my teeth, he also gave me recommendations on what to use for my teeth. The next day I went in my tooth was fixed. The tooth matches my other teeth well, and it was at a very affordable price. Go see Dr. Rosen for all your dental needs.

I really needed a new dentist when I found this place, I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. The office is spotless and organized. It is small, but I don’t mind that. They treat you like an individual here, and they aren’t worried about treating as many patients as possible. They treat you like a human being. The front office staff is helpful and nice. They will call you to remind you about your upcoming appointment and will even do a follow-up call a couple days after your appointment. Dr. Normatov is awesome. I came in for a deep cleaning and a checkup and she was very professional and easy to talk to, which made me feel comfortable and satisfied with the service I received. She did the cleaning herself, which is something I wasn’t expecting. We even got to talk about food. Again, she’s easy to talk to and really knows her stuff. I’m actually excited to go back and see her.

If I could give more than 5 stars for this place, I would. This Rego Park dentist office is beautiful. The staff is very kind and professional. You won’t have to worry about your insurance or dental plans here. This place is almost like a spa, they have wax-hand dipped warming gloves and blankets for if their patients get cold. The dental hygienists are very friendly. Dr. Thomopoulos was great, she was thorough during my exam and took some photos so I could see the fillings I had before, but also a new cavity. She was willing to go through all my questions and was very careful with my teeth. I always hated going to the dentist, but now I feel completely at ease with Dr. Thomopoulos, she made me feel like I wasn’t just another patient, but rather a human being. I’ve referred her to everyone I know. I am a big fan of chapstick, and the free chapsticks here are awesome. Just another reason this place is awesome!

Dr. Cosentino is awesome. I left his office feeling happy, and I usually hate the dentist and am never a good patient, especially when I have a toothache. But my time at Dr. Cosentino was the best experience I’ve ever had. Much better than my old dentist in Corona, NY. Everyone here was kind, nice, and very honest with what I needed. I’m no longer afraid of the dentist. This place is affordable too, which is great. They gave me a follow up call and answered all my questions, I can’t thank them enough.

I've had three different services done at Elite Dental: basic cleaning, filling, and root canal. My expectations were exceeded all three times. None of it was painful, not even the root canal. Dr. Isakharov and the staff are professional, patient, and courteous. I highly recommend!

Dr. Cukier is wonderful. I’ve been a patient for some time now and have the utmost faith in him. I’m not exactly the most trusting person in the world when it comes to doctors and dentists, so it’s nice to know that I can count on Dr. Cukier to look out for my best interest rather than his own. I don’t typically leave reviews, but Dr. Mangiaracina deserves every last bit of praise. She is highly professional and knowledgeable, which is evident in her demeanor. She is also genuinely passionate about her job, which really puts you at ease. I’ve had multiple dentists botch their work in the past because they don’t really care about what they are doing, but Dr. Mangiaracina is different. She not only a wonderful doctor but also a wonderful human being. I give Dr. Mangiaracina my highest recommendation. The entire staff is great. They pay attention to detail and remain professional.

I've been going to Ilya Ames / Queens Central Dental for a few years now and I cannot emphasize enough how great they are! I have spent thousands of dollars at dentists in the Jackson Heights area over the course of my life, so I know what makes a great dentist besides excellent dental work: amazing staff, fresh equipment, the latest dental and cosmetic procedures, and most importantly, great explanations to answer my questions. My daughter and I started going to Dr. Minkowitz in Maspeth a couple months ago. A couple friends recommended them, so I thought we’d give them a shot. We’ve been very satisfied so far. The front office staff is nice and helpful when it comes to scheduling around our busy schedules, billing insurance, and figuring out the headache that is payments. The hygienists always do a great job and give me great tips about my dental health. Dr. Minkowitz is very nice. I’ve gotten a couple crowns and other dental work done by him. It’s really been great. He even offered to give me a new mouth guard without charging me because he thought I might like a thinner one. My 10 year old daughter also loves this place. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

I’m very fortunate to have discovered Dr. Sandhu and Queens Dental Care. I’ve been to 3 dental offices in 3 years, but I’ve found my dental home. The first dentist I went to chipped my tooth during a cleaning and wouldn’t even admit it. I didn’t even know he’d chipped my front tooth until I got to my car. I went back in, and he fixed it, but that fix recently fell off. Other places charged way too much to fix it. I went to Queens Dental Care. The entire staff was kind, informative, and helpful. They are also very affordable. I’m a hairstylist, so I appreciate other “artist.” Dr. Sandhu is one such artist. I said the fixed tooth was beautiful. She and I are both proud of her work. I couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you Dr. Sandhu.

I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. He is affordable and whenever I call about dental problems they’re able to get me in on the same day. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you need a dentist in the Bronx.

I started going to Stuart Kaminsky DDS. after reading multiple positive online reviews about him. I’m glad I chose him. The office is clean and well-decorated. The staff is very friendly. I love the conversations we have. I had a broken tooth, and Dr. Kaminsky was wonderful. He was calm, which put me at ease during the filling process. This was probably the most pleasant and painless dentist visit I ever had. The entire staff was kind, attentive and seemed all so caring. I am so glad u have found Doctor Shahin and his team. One less thing to worry about in finding a dentist you can fully trust and rely on.

I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

I'll say it...THE BEST DENTAL OFFICE IN NYC!!! They have given me so many reasons to remain true. Here recently my husband had an emergency...was in severe pain. I went to Armstrong Dental Studio first thing in the morning and they took care of everything, even though he didn't have an appointment until the night before. They are so courteous and caring. We always have an amazing visit and always looking forward to the next time. Dr. Armstrong always seems so happy to see us and takes time to ask about how things are going. The front desk team is always very friendly and I have no clue how they remember all of our names. It just shows their dedication to customer service. I soooo adore this place!!! Check them out and you will not regret it.

Shay Dental is the only place I’ve been able to take my teenage daughter who is terrified of the dentist. Dr. Shay was so kind to him and calmed his nerves as soon as he stepped foot in the office. He patiently explained every step of the process and checked on how he was doing. Dr. Shay said we could even come back for a second cleaning visit if need be. The moment I saw my daughter smiling as she walked out of the dentist's office, I knew we had found the one. The next day, Dr. Shay followed up with a sweet note telling my daughter how well he did. It was so thoughtful! Now, the rest of my family will be going to visit Dr. Shay! Three cheers for the absolute best dentist in New York!

I can’t say enough good things about Smile by Choice. They do great work and are great people. This dentist office in the Upper West Side, Manhattan was right down the street from my office, and so I started going here about 3 months ago. I now work downtown Manhattan, but I still come here for the great dental service. I love going to my cleanings twice a year. I’ve never missed a dental appointment. Smile by Choice is very high quality dentistry in New York, NY. They have vaulted ceilings that let in natural light, the latest and greatest in technology, and an awesome staff that is very nice and easy to talk to. Going to the dentist can often seem like a chore, but this class makes it easy and even dare I say enjoyable. You’ll always feel like you got the best cleaning here, which is often not the case. And it’s never painful. Scraping tools can often be unpleasant, but they use an ultrasonic cleaning method that is very calming. They even give you a warm towel when you’re done with your cleaning, which seemed very first class to me!

My mom was actually the one who first recommended I go see Dr. Howard J. Lerner. She is very sensitive when it comes to dental work. The first pinch of pain is enough to make her very anxious. Dr. Lerner is the only dentist she will go to. Having been to Dr. Lerner for multiple appointments and procedures, I can honestly say that whether you get something simple or something very complicated done Dr. Lerner does an excellent job. He provides an efficient yet pain-free experience. One time, I was in such unbearable pain that I felt like I was going to faint. It took Dr. Lerner less than 7 minutes to remove the three teeth that needed to be extracted. Like I said, he is incredibly efficient, and even though it was of a more complicated procedure, I didn't feel a thing. The office is very clean and well-decorated. They provide adequate entertainment as well. The entire staff is very fun to be around, and they are incredibly inviting. By the end of my first appointment, I felt like we were all old friends. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Lerner and his New York, NY practice!

I have a fear of dentist offices and anything relating to dentistry. I have avoided dental work I've needed done for years. This morning, I needed to have a wisdom tooth extracted that was infected and giving me awful pain. From the start of the day when I called to inquire if Dr. Borgella was available, I was greeted kindly by the awesome staff person who answered the phone. She confirmed my insurance was accepted there, even giving an idea of what I'd pay for an extraction. Upon arriving in at Dr. Borgella’s office in Bronx, she nicely greeted me and proceeded to give me the paperwork to complete as a new patient. This is what was stunning to me, I was seen on time!! I went in, got my cleaning and met the dentist, Dr. Borgella, who was nice, informative, and clear. They told me things I needed done, in addition to the extraction, but did not pressure this as an upsell. Surgery was easy and quick! The only thing that hurt was getting the anesthesia in the roof of my mouth. Ten hours later, I have absolutely no pain, wow! I will be back to Dr. Borgella DDS. Everyone in the office was kind and professional and the prices are right on point.

When I told my friend that my dentist in Brooklyn was about to retire she recommended Dr. Grinberg. As someone who hates the dentist, I was a bit nervous. I don’t handle anesthetics well and I’ve had some bad experiences with dentists in the past. I’ve had root canals, cavities, and crowns. He was knowledgeable, gentle, and friendly. He gave me some great tips to improve my dental health, and he is much more up to date with his knowledge about technology and procedures than my former dentist. The office staff is kind and they helped me figure out all the Doctors Network stuff so that I didn’t have any surprise. I would recommend Dr. Grinberg to anyone!

Dr. Amir is an extraordinary dentist! I travel frequently, but they understand my busy schedule and seem to always fit my appointments at my convenience. If I could give Dr. Murphy at Radiance Dental more stars, I would! She has to be the best dentist in the Scarsdale, NY area. I refer everyone I know to her. Oddly enough, my friends and I all had terrible dentist phobia and hated the idea of going to a clinic. And then a coworker referred me to Dr. Murphy’s office. Now my friends and I actually look forward to our checkups and cleanings. The staff here are so friendly, and everyone at each step of your visit seems to genuinely care for their patients. One of the hygienists joked with me during the entire cleaning which calmed my nerves. Dr. Murphy has completely changed my perception of a dentist office. I have been going to C K Galdieri since October 2016. Dr. Galdieri and the whole team are incredible individuals personally and professionally. But when I finally went I went to see Dr. Kucher because I heard he did awesome implants, which was something I thought I needed. He and his staff were very gentle. They went through everything with me and he gave me a pamphlet that explained everything. I decided to make an appointment because of how kind they all were when I just walked in. I’d been seeing a dentist near me, but since I spend most of my time in South River, NJ, I decided to find a dentist here. Dr. Khalil and his staff are awesome. My cleaning was super detailed, and the office staff is so kind. They even open the sterilized instruments in your presence, which makes me feel a lot better about the cleanliness! Dr. Khalil is great at explaining procedures and answering all my questions. I was fitted for a night guard at my last dentist, but I had been having issues with it. Dr. Khalil adjusted it so that it fit much more comfortably. I’m so excited about my new dentist, Albert A. Khalil DDS!
