I found a dentist's office with which I am delighted. Dr. Rafya Sandhu is brilliant, friendly, skilled, and an absolute professional. She also treats the rest of her staff so well that everyone genuinely likes working there. The office is so modern and clean, with very competitive prices. Unlike other practices that try to push you into unnecessary work, this place is not one of those. They are incredibly punctual at Westbury Smile Center; they were able to get through with my cleaning and touched up an issue with bonding from a previous dentist that worked on my molar. They then polished them up and even smoothed out a chipped tooth. My wife is even switching to Dr. Sandhu, as Dr. Sandhu is much better than her current dentist.

Back in September I was in between jobs and could not afford dental insurance in Levittown. Dr. Mekawy and their staff gave me information on a dental plan for people who can’t normally afford dental care. That’s just how awesome they are. I went in thinking I had two cavities that needed to be filled. I was in a little bit of pain because of them. I explained what had been going on and gave her a document that my primary dentist in Levittown had given me, which said what dental work I needed. Because of this payment plan, I am now able to afford the dental work that needs to be done that otherwise I could not afford it.

I’ve already recommended that my friends and family switch to Dr. Mangiaracina.

I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. He is affordable and whenever I call about dental problems they’re able to get me in on the same day. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you need a dentist in the Bronx.

I really needed a new dentist when I found this place, I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. The office is spotless and organized. It is small, but I don’t mind that. They treat you like an individual here, and they aren’t worried about treating as many patients as possible. They treat you like a human being. The front office staff is helpful and nice. They will call you to remind you about your upcoming appointment and will even do a follow-up call a couple days after your appointment. Dr. Normatov is awesome. I came in for a deep cleaning and a checkup and she was very professional and easy to talk to, which made me feel comfortable and satisfied with the service I received. She did the cleaning herself, which is something I wasn’t expecting. We even got to talk about food. Again, she’s easy to talk to and really knows her stuff. I’m actually excited to go back and see her.

That process only took a few minutes. Lastly, Dr. Murphy just has an incredible personality. She is so friendly, upfront, and punctual. She goes out of her way to save you money by trying to stay within the limits of your insurance. The hygienist was very thorough and patient, and my teeth and gums have never felt better. I recommend this office to everyone I come across.

I continue to come back to this place time and time again because their service is exceptional, their staff is welcoming, they create a friendly atmosphere, and they provide information to help my teeth. I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

I adore coming here to Armstrong Dental Studio. The team is knowledgeable and welcoming and they truly care about you. I recently missed a cleaning due to illness, but they were so understanding. The receptionist saw my number on the caller ID and called me back, without me even having to leave a message. How great!! The office is spotless and inviting. I had no trouble parking. They have vaulted ceilings that let in natural light, the latest and greatest in technology, and an awesome staff that is very nice and easy to talk to. Going to the dentist can often seem like a chore, but this class makes it easy and even dare I say enjoyable. You’ll always feel like you got the best cleaning here, which is often not the case. And it’s never painful. Scraping tools can often be unpleasant, but they use an ultrasonic cleaning method that is very calming. They even give you a warm towel when you’re done with your cleaning, which seemed very first class to me!

My mom was actually the one who first recommended I go see Dr. Howard J. Lerner. She is very sensitive when it comes to dental work. The first pinch of pain is enough to make her very anxious. Dr. Lerner is the only dentist she will go to. Having been to Dr. Lerner for multiple appointments and procedures, I can honestly say that whether you get something simple or something very complicated done Dr. Lerner does an excellent job. He provides an efficient yet pain-free experience. One time, I was in such unbearable pain that I felt like I was going to faint. It took Dr. Lerner less than 7 minutes to remove the three teeth that needed to be extracted. Like I said, he is incredibly efficient, and even though it was of a more complicated procedure, I didn't feel a thing. The office is very clean and well-decorated. They provide adequate entertainment as well. The entire staff is very fun to be around, and they are incredibly inviting. By the end of my first appointment, I felt like we were all old friends. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Lerner and his New York, NY practice!

I don’t handle anesthetics well and I’ve had some bad experiences with dentists in the past. I’ve had root canals, cavities, and crowns. He was knowledgeable, gentle, and friendly. He gave me some great tips to improve my dental health, and he is much more up to date with his knowledge about technology and procedures than my former dentist. The office staff is kind and they helped me figure out all the Doctors Network stuff so that I didn’t have any surprise. I would recommend Dr. Grinberg to anyone!
