She’s very personal, she always remembers what’s going on in her patients’ lives. She recommended Invisalign for me, and she was a great help with that, along with all the regular cleanings and fillings she’s done for me. Dr. Lerner and his staff are lovely. I had such a positive experience thanks to the receptionist and the hygienist. Having come from the UK, I was apprehensive about going to a dentist in the US. I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

Highly recommend this office! I am so fearful of the dentist and was immediately put at ease. I have never had a better dental appointment in Queens.

I've been going to Ilya Ames / Queens Central Dental for a few years now and I cannot emphasize enough how great they are! I have spent thousands of dollars at dentists in the Jackson Heights area over the course of my life, so I know what makes a great dentist besides excellent dental work: amazing staff, fresh equipment, the latest dental and cosmetic procedures, and most importantly, great explanations to answer my questions. HIGHLY recommend!

My daughter and I started going to Dr. Minkowitz in Maspeth a couple months ago. A couple friends recommended them, so I thought we’d give them a shot. We’ve been very satisfied so far. The front office staff is nice and helpful when it comes to scheduling around our busy schedules, billing insurance, and figuring out the headache that is payments. The hygienists always do a great job and give me great tips about my dental health. Dr. Minkowitz is very nice. I’ve gotten a couple crowns and other dental work done by him. It’s really been great. He even offered to give me a new mouth guard without charging me because he thought I might like a thinner one. My 10 year old daughter also loves this place. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

This place is awesome, I always feel comfortable when I’m here. The entire staff and Dr. Aknouk are great. You can really tell they love their jobs. I’ve had Dr. Aknouk put in my gold inlay replaced my old silver fillings with porcelain computer-made filling. They’re both very friendly. I had an emergency a couple months ago when my daughter had her front tooth knocked out and Dr. Aknouk came in on his day off to do a root canal on her. This clinic is wonderful, I would highly recommend it and won’t be going anywhere else.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Azbel to work on my teeth for almost a year. I should have written this review sooner. I decided to switch dentists because I wasn’t satisfied with my previous one. That’s when I switched to Lucky Dental. The receptionist was very welcoming and made me feel like a valued patient. Unluckily for me, I had a lot of cavities, so I had to come back for additional visits, which means I’ve gotten to know Dr. Azbel and his staff quite well. Pros - The staff is incredible. They are all very nice and love their jobs. You never have to wait more than 10 minutes in the waiting room. I’m usually called back right away. I don’t even need to sit down. They let you watch a movie while you get work done, which makes things go by faster. They are very efficient as is, but I love that you can watch a movie. It almost makes you forget you’re having dental work done. The parking is okay too. I highly recommend Dr. Azbel of Lucky Dental.

I really needed a new dentist when I found this place, I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. The office is spotless and organized. It is small, but I don’t mind that. They treat you like an individual here, and they aren’t worried about treating as many patients as possible. They treat you like a human being. The front office staff is helpful and nice. They will call you to remind you about your upcoming appointment and will even do a follow-up call a couple days after your appointment. Dr. Normatov is awesome. I came in for a deep cleaning and a checkup and she was very professional and easy to talk to, which made me feel comfortable and satisfied with the service I received. She did the cleaning herself, which is something I wasn’t expecting. We even got to talk about food. Again, she’s easy to talk to and really knows her stuff. I’m actually excited to go back and see her.

I’d been struggling with a very painful infected tooth for multiple days. A good friend of mine recommended Dr. Cukier. I called the office earlier that morning and was able to be seen in less than an hour. The staff was polite, kind, and professional. They did an X-ray and consulted with me, showing me my X-rays and how the infection had spread. Dr. Cukier prescribed an antibiotic and painkiller. He sent me home to rest, and I went back a week later to have the tooth worked on. Dr. Cukier had a wonderful attitude. He was so friendly and professional. He has a great website, and the information provided led me to call the office for an appointment. I asked if they accepted my insurance, and they did. Dr. Kalyanaraman is so friendly. He treats his patients like family. He performed the examination and clearly explained to me what needed to be done. He allowed me some time to consider the options he presented, and he was supportive of my choice. I really like Dr. Kalyanaraman and his staff, and I’m sure you will too.

I've been to see Dr. Amir twice and both times were fantastic experiences. The first time was a dental emergency (broken tooth) and I got in right away. The staff and Dr. Amir were kind and considerate, made me feel totally comfortable and didn't do anything before discussing the cost and options with me first. I had a great first visit to BH Franklin Dental. I’m so grateful to have found them after deciding to change dentists. I loved that no one tried to pressure me into buying services I didn’t actually need like Invisalign, teeth whitening, veneers or laser treatments. My previous office tried to sell these things like they were car salesmen. The staff at BH Franklin Dental wonderful. The receptionist was very personable. She promptly took my insurance info and helped me through the paperwork. My hygienist was the best I’ve ever had. Plus, Dr. Nina Babayev was trustworthy and kind. I called Dr. Sandhu’s office this afternoon. I was actually parking in front my regular dentist’s office, but they couldn’t schedule me for an appointment today. I spoke to the kind staff of the Westbury Smile Center the office, and they scheduled within the hour. This was the best dental experience I have ever had. Dr. Sandhu was so kind and personable. I have braces, so she discussed, in detail, how to properly brush, which I had not previously been informed of. She then gave me this cream for the demineralization of my teeth due to my braces. I left with a little dental care package. Thankfully, I didn’t need any additional work done besides the cleaning, but this will be my dentist from now on. I wholeheartedly recommend the Westbury Smile Center in Westbury, NY!

However, even if there is a small wait, it's worth it. It's nice to know that I have found a doctor who truly cares about my oral health and making sure that the costs are reasonable.
