I have a few horror stories in the past few years about previous dentists. C K Galdieri is top notch. Today was my first visit and WOW IT WAS INCREDIBLE. Dr. Galdieri and the staff were knowledgeable, informative, and super nice. I had the pleasure of working with two dental hygienists that were just as great as the front desk staff that greeted me. I decided to have a quick cosmetic thingy done on my tooth; Dr. Galdieri did such a fantastic job that I almost began to cry. I am so happy with my new smile that everyone here in Elmwood Park is going to be jealous. Thanks Dr. Galdieri! See you in 6 months!

Dr. Borgella simply went above and beyond, they are that amazing. Boy have I learned a lot about other dental offices in the Bronx region. After going to several other dental offices in 2016 I vowed to change my insurance back just so that I could come back to Reginald Borgella DDS and it was the best decision ever. Their staff is professional, kind, informed, and friendly. They know what they're doing and are honest about what's going on with your dental health. As a great example, the dental office I went to three months ago told me I had 4 cavities that needed fillings; here I was told that I only had 2 small ones. I just got back from filling those 2, without lidocaine and without pain! A seamless experience - I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes. Dr. Borgella is the dentist you want to go to. Where the other dentists just wanted to slap on a nightguard, they did a thorough assessment and showed me better options, even figuring out the main cause of my tmj, that other dentists/orthodontists didn't realize before. Making appointments at Dr. Borgella’s is a breeze and those staff at the front desk are so great. Everyone working here makes you feel cared for and truly does what they can to make you comfortable. The waiting room is also super comfy and relaxed.

I’m so lucky to have found this dentist. Dr. Wert is very friendly and easy to talk to. The dental staff is very kind. The wait time is never long here, and they use the newest and greatest dental technology. I plan on being a patient here for the rest of my life and would recommend everyone else to this place as well.

I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. He is affordable and whenever I call about dental problems they’re able to get me in on the same day. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you need a dentist in the Bronx.

I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

I have been a patient at this practice for a while now, way before Dr. Choi took over the practice. I can honestly say I’m very satisfied with the work she does. She’s very personal, she always remembers what’s going on in her patients’ lives. She recommended Invisalign for me, and she was a great help with that, along with all the regular cleanings and fillings she’s done for me. The clinic’s staff and Dr. Choi are very knowledgeable and friendly. They’re always on time and keep billing matters simple. When I had a toothache 2 years they were able to see me right away. I would recommend Dr. Choi and her staff at Smile by Choice to anyone.

I’ve been a patient of Shay Dental for several years, beginning in 2009. I first met Dr. Shay during an emergency visit for a root canal. I saw him because my other dentist said I needed to wait a week for an appointment. I could tell they cared about me and my condition, and they saw me within 15 minutes. They made a great first impression on me with their attentiveness and caring. Even though I’ve moved away from New York since then, I always travel to this dentist office. I adore the staff there. Even my 12 year old daughter loves this office. This office is great at cleaning kid’s teeth and other parents notice.

I adore coming here to Armstrong Dental Studio. The team is knowledgeable and welcoming and they truly care about you. I recently missed a cleaning due to illness, but they were so understanding. Dr. Lerner and his staff are lovely. I had such a positive experience thanks to the receptionist and the hygienist. Having come from the UK, I was apprehensive about going to a dentist in the US. I don't think I could say enough good things about Queens Central Dental. Everyone is so welcoming and very sweet. I mean, I love going to the dentist (weird, I know!), but this place will make you love the dentist if you're not already a dentist lover in the Jackson Heights area. I really needed a new dentist when I found this place, I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. The office is spotless and organized. It is small, but I don’t mind that. They treat you like an individual here, and they aren’t worried about treating as many patients as possible. They treat you like a human being. The front office staff is helpful and nice. They will call you to remind you about your upcoming appointment and will even do a follow-up call a couple days after your appointment. Dr. Normatov is awesome. I came in for a deep cleaning and a checkup and she was very professional and easy to talk to, which made me feel comfortable and satisfied with the service I received. She did the cleaning herself, which is something I wasn’t expecting. We even got to talk about food. Again, she’s easy to talk to and really knows her stuff. I’m actually excited to go back and see her.

A co-worker recommended Dr. Thomopoulos when I moved to Rego Park in 2017, and I love it there. They truly care about their patients and make sure your comfortable when you’re getting your dental work done. The hygienist seems to truly care about my health, she has given me a lot of advice on how to make sure my teeth stay healthy and how to avoid plaque and tartar build up in troublesome areas. I’m terrified of the dentist, so I’d rather do just about anything else. Though I still don’t like going to my dental visits, Everlasting Smiles Dental is the best dentist near me, and I’ve been to a lot of them! In my previous experiences, I either discovered a fantastic staff with a horrible dentist or a great dentist with a terrible hygienist and office staff who made you feel like a burden. But Dr. Afridi’s dental practice is the best of both worlds. The staff is so friendly and kind, and the super-professional hygienists put your comfort first. The receptionist/bookkeeper always helps me navigate my insurance and what I owe as well as scheduling appointments. All the great reviews are true. Though I did wait a little bit, I’ve had to wait longer at other places, and I guarantee they only made me wait because patients weren’t coming in on time, which will push back all the other appointments after it. Or maybe Dr. Afridi was tending to an emergency and wanted to make sure his patient was being taken care of. I would happily wait a long time if needed just to get the high level of service and dental care this place has to offer, knowing that once I get in the dental chair, they won’t rush me out to keep on schedule. Dr. Reznik and Big Apple Dental had been our dentist in Wyandanch, NY for a long time, so we trusted him.
