I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

And it’s never painful. Scraping tools can often be unpleasant, but they use an ultrasonic cleaning method that is very calming. They even give you a warm towel when you’re done with your cleaning, which seemed very first class to me!

The way her staff greets us when we walk in the door to the moment we check out it feels like a family. And, they are always so punctual. They took a few extra minutes to go over my habits and how to improve my dental health at home. If you haven't been by this location, do yourself a favor and do so. Today was our first visit with C K Galdieri. It is very clean, and it seemed to have all the latest technology, as compared to other dentists in the Elmwood Park area. Ironically, Dr. Galdieri was friends with my dad! When I mentioned the family name, they remembered instantly - what a pleasant surprise! Dr. Galdieri took care of both my daughters' checkups and cleanings, made great conversation with them both, and they all really got along. I ended up with an unexpected root canal, but I already knew that tooth was causing problems. We feel very comfortable and satisfied with C K Galdieri, and will continue to come here for all our family dental needs.
