She doesn't pressure you do you get services you don't really need. If she says you have a cavity, then you actually have a cavity. I love this worry-free environment. I had a pretty bad experience at my last clinic, so I decided to give Westbury Smile Center a try for my extraction. Westbury, NY is a bit of a drive for me, but I believe it's definitely worth the trip. I regret making my last choice of a dentist based on the closest office to me, but I will definitely be going to see Dr. Sandhu for now on. The office is immaculate, child-friendly, and everyone there is very personable. They made my usual nervous self fear free while visiting this practice. Everyone from the front desk to the support staff hidden in the back is so welcoming and kind. They call you back before you hardly have a chance to sit down. The cleaning, exam, and x-rays were all done with such professionalism and skill. Dr. Sandhu is just incredible. Dr. Sandhu and the assistant do an excellent job keeping you relaxed. The doctor does a comprehensive job explaining everything. My experience during my extraction was practically painless, and I am very thankful that I had this done at Westbury Smile Center. My family has been going to Dr. Borgella for the past three years since moving to the Bronx area. My daughter and son in law convinced us to go to Dr. Borgella as they felt they were the best dentist ever. So glad we listened to them, and headed over to Reginald Borgella DDS. Best front staff, hygienists are gentle but very thorough and the absolute best team for all dental work. We were with no wait and I find I do not dread spending time in the dentist chair, weird! Sounds too good to be true, but I assure you they are great!

Back in September I was in between jobs and could not afford dental insurance in Levittown. Dr. Mekawy and their staff gave me information on a dental plan for people who can’t normally afford dental care. That’s just how awesome they are. I went in thinking I had two cavities that needed to be filled. I was in a little bit of pain because of them. I explained what had been going on and gave her a document that my primary dentist in Levittown had given me, which said what dental work I needed. Because of this payment plan, I am now able to afford the dental work that needs to be done that otherwise I could not afford it.

This place is awesome, I always feel comfortable when I’m here. The entire staff and Dr. Aknouk are great. You can really tell they love their jobs. I’ve had Dr. Aknouk put in my gold inlay replaced my old silver fillings with porcelain computer-made filling. They’re both very friendly. I had an emergency a couple months ago when my daughter had her front tooth knocked out and Dr. Aknouk came in on his day off to do a root canal on her. This clinic is wonderful, I would highly recommend it and won’t be going anywhere else.
