Dr. Mehran Azar graduated with honors from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. He then graduated from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Reznik and Big Apple Dental had been our dentist in Wyandanch, NY for a long time, so we trusted him. Change can be hard to handle, So when we moved we were sad that we might have to change dentist. But Dr. Reznik is such a great dentist, that we are willing to drive two hours. The office staff is very is very kind and knowledgeable. I’ve had the same hygienist for a while now, and that’s what really matters to me because that is all I really need normally. I’m very lucky that Dr. Reznik is on this dental plan because then my routine cleanings and x-rays are only $25.00!

I came to see Dr. Sandhu in late December with my child. This dentist and the staff at Westbury Smile Center are so child-friendly. They have a great environment that really keeps kids calm. Due to it being a weekend appointment, they were super busy, but they were still able to see us walk-ins. We currently don’t have dental insurance, but they were able to do all of the usual stuff at a very reasonable price.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Borgella the whole staff at Reginald Borgella’s dental office. For a number of reasons, especially being afraid of the dentist, it had been WAY too long since I’d had an exam, and so I had to get some serious work done on my teeth. I visited the Bronx office over the course of several months to get everything completed. Each and every time, I was clearly informed about what was needed and the process, how much it would cost, and most importantly was welcomed and put at ease. I live far away, but driving to Dr. Borgella is worth it for the wonderful care that’s coming your way!

Back in September I was in between jobs and could not afford dental insurance in Levittown. Dr. Mekawy and their staff gave me information on a dental plan for people who can’t normally afford dental care. That’s just how awesome they are. I went in thinking I had two cavities that needed to be filled. I was in a little bit of pain because of them. I explained what had been going on and gave her a document that my primary dentist in Levittown had given me, which said what dental work I needed. Because of this payment plan, I am now able to afford the dental work that needs to be done that otherwise I could not afford it.

This place is awesome, I always feel comfortable when I’m here. The entire staff and Dr. Aknouk are great. You can really tell they love their jobs. I’ve had Dr. Aknouk put in my gold inlay replaced my old silver fillings with porcelain computer-made filling. They’re both very friendly. I had an emergency a couple months ago when my daughter had her front tooth knocked out and Dr. Aknouk came in on his day off to do a root canal on her. This clinic is wonderful, I would highly recommend it and won’t be going anywhere else.
