Dr. Mekawy and their staff gave me information on a dental plan for people who can’t normally afford dental care. That’s just how awesome they are. I went in thinking I had two cavities that needed to be filled. I was in a little bit of pain because of them. I explained what had been going on and gave her a document that my primary dentist in Levittown had given me, which said what dental work I needed. Because of this payment plan, I am now able to afford the dental work that needs to be done that otherwise I could not afford it.

Dr. Sandhu and her staff were very professional and kind to stay open for me on a Friday evening when my rotten tooth hurt so bad that I thought I couldn’t stand the pain any longer. Her dental assistants were so nice, and Dr. Sandhu had the tooth out in no time. I really appreciate that they stayed late to help me with this. I just couldn’t stand the pain. Even after I switch to a cheaper dental plan, he was still willing to work with me to make sure that my needs were met. They offer pretty flexible appointment times, and you barely have to wait. However, even if there is a small wait, it's worth it. It's nice to know that I have found a doctor who truly cares about my oral health and making sure that the costs are reasonable. I cannot imagine going anywhere else!

When we lived in Merrick, NY, my family went to Dr. Mangiaracina. I went to her first. She was always so personable. She even remembered my daughter’s name. The whole staff knew how to make you feel comfortable. The hygienists were friendly. I honestly don’t like going to the dentist, but I liked going to Dr. Mangiaracina. That’s a compliment. Since moving out-of-state, I have looked for a dentist I liked as much as Dr. Mangiaracina, and I haven’t found one yet. I wish Dr. Mangiaracina could just move here. If you need a new dentist, make an appointment with Dr. Concetta Mangiaracina. You won’t regret it. I highly recommend her.

I’d heard an advertisement on the radio and decided to give Dr. Hassid a shot. The ad said to come in no matter how scared of the dentist you were, and I have an extreme phobia. I needed my teeth cleaned and even some teeth extracted. Dr. Hassid did a double root canal, a couple bridges, and some implants. The receptionist staff was kind and everyone here was very helpful, from the office staff, to the dentist, to the dental assistants. They were all very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like family coming here, and anyone in the area should check them out.

My family has been seeing Dr. Afridi, and we think he’s nothing short of attentive, competent, intelligent, careful and highly trained. Dr. Afridi did many implants for my elderly mother. He was very careful not to hurt her and really took his time. The end result was great - to this day, she can still eat solid foods! A few years after the implants, however, she developed gum disease and an infection (probably a lack of oral hygiene), and her last dentist never said anything about it. Dr. Afridi was able to save her teeth and implants. He saw her right away and followed up to make sure everything was going alright. We don’t want anything like that to happen to her again, so now he’s in charge of her dental care from now on. As for myself, I had a calcified front tooth due to a bad root canal from a specialist. I really don’t blame him though because I knew it was a potential complication. My general dentist referred me to Dr. Afridi for follow-up treatment and an implant. I was scared and wanted to be knocked out during it, but he promised it wouldn’t hurt. And he was right. Even though I needed bone generation and gum generation for my implant, they were able to give me a temporary tooth on that same day. The entire procedure was pain free, and the end result was beautiful! Everlasting Smiles Dental is conveniently located in Glen Oaks, NY. It’s spotless and efficient with a warm, amazing staff. My coworker actually did a similar procedure to mine at another place because it was cheaper, and he went through a ton of pain and couldn’t go to work because of it. Therefore, he really didn’t save any money. The only place I’d ever go for extensive dental work like that would be to this office. I strongly recommend Dr. Afridi.

My old dentist in Oakland Gardens retired and it has been a while since I saw anyone else. Dr. Bieber is my new dentist, but it’s still the same kind of staff and hygienists. Dr. Bieber is very nice and is a great fit for this dentistry. Everyone seems to like him. I actually look forward to going to this dentist. He’s very knowledgeable and I look forward to remaining his patient. The office girls and hygienists are very nice.

I don’t normally write reviews online, but I had such an amazing recent visit at Soft Touch Dental Care in Forest Hills, NY that I wanted to tell people about it. I’m a regular patient at Soft Touch, but I usually only go in for routine cleanings. But this time I was in a lot of pain and needed help. I called on a Tuesday during after-hours and they got me in the next morning at 7:30 a.m.. The staff was very kind and gentle with me. Dr. Normatov has a very comfortable office. She is very caring and kind. I actually fell asleep in the chair, that’s how comfortable I was. She provides excellent care. I have zero pain now, and I didn’t have any pain while she was working on me. I can’t thank Dr. Normatov and her staff enough.

It had been a while since I’d been to the dentist, but I needed to go, so I chose Glendale Dental. Having recently acquired dental insurance, I scheduled a cleaning and X-ray. When I got there, Dr. Cukier was very friendly. I’ve never really taken brushing and flossing seriously, but he helped me understand the importance of it. It was nice to see someone genuinely concerned with my oral health. I was curious about what to do better, and he eagerly provided very helpful advice. I’ll receive a reminder in 6 months when it is time to come back in for another cleaning. It’s very convenient to schedule appointments. Dr. Cukier is a hardworking, high-class professional.

Going to the dentist is a pretty darn terrifying no matter who you are, but Dr. Ames is as good as it gets. I've gone for regular cleanings, fillings, as well as wisdom teeth extractions, and each time they make sure to explain everything in detail, constantly checks in on how you're feeling. I’ve never been made to feel guilty about cavities, and most importantly: Dr. Ames has a much-needed sense of humor to bring down dentist anxiety. Passion for the job is clear (they seem to genuinely enjoy it). QUEENS CENTRAL DENTAL is good with people of all ages and backgrounds, so it really feels like they care about each of their patients and the Jackson Heights community. Of course, the staff is also all very professional! Highly, highly recommended. :)

This place is awesome, I always feel comfortable when I’m here. The entire staff and Dr. Aknouk are great. You can really tell they love their jobs. I’ve had Dr. Aknouk put in my gold inlay replaced my old silver fillings with porcelain computer-made filling. They’re both very friendly. I had an emergency a couple months ago when my daughter had her front tooth knocked out and Dr. Aknouk came in on his day off to do a root canal on her. This clinic is wonderful, I would highly recommend it and won’t be going anywhere else.

I love Dr. Minkowitz. I’ve gotten a cleaning and a cavity checkup done here. My teeth look great. They do allow walk-ins and they have business hours that work with my busy schedule so that I could come in at 6pm after work. I didn’t have any waiting time here, which has never happened to me before. The staff is very kind. They provide quality dental care. Ironically, Dr. Murphy at Radiance Dental was just down the road from me and seemed to have a ton of great reviews. I made my appointment and came in within two hours of my phone call. I arrived ten minutes before my appointment, and they got me back within the time it took for me to complete my paperwork. I was ushered back and immediately was seen by the x-ray technician. That process only took a few minutes. Lastly, Dr. Murphy just has an incredible personality. She is so friendly, upfront, and punctual. She goes out of her way to save you money by trying to stay within the limits of your insurance. The hygienist was very thorough and patient, and my teeth and gums have never felt better. I recommend this office to everyone I come across.

He did my crown for me yesterday, and he took about a half hour to make sure it was the perfect fit for my teeth. The crown was already made, so it should have been a perfect fit. However, he wants his to last for many years, so he does the best job possible to ensure it’s longevity. He also took an extra x-ray to ensure the crown was sealed all the way around since he couldn’t see part of it. He’s so meticulous, which is exactly what you want in the person who works in your mouth and drills your teeth. I usually don’t leave reviews, but for anyone who’s anxious about finding a good dentist, please know Albert A. Khalil DDS is the best of the best. I hope this helps!
