I haven’t been to the dentist in a long time. My teeth are extremely sensitive, so even getting my teeth cleaned is painful. I do get a lot of compliments on my smile, but sadly, a cavity won’t go away by itself. I was referred to Dr. Nguyen by a close friend. He and I chatted about my painful tooth. He took a look and said that I should come back for x-rays, so they could diagnose the problem and discuss a treatment plan. If he hadn’t made that recommendation, I may still have the cavity. I won’t lie - it wasn’t a fun experience, but I didn’t mind letting him look at my teeth. He even told me that my teeth were fairly healthy. The actual office is easy on the eyes and sterile. The other dentist he worked with seemed very skilled. They both knew I was scared, so they tried their best to make me feel better. They make everything easy, from scheduling an appointment to filling out very little paperwork, which can be done on a touch screen computer. Between the soothing environment and the friendly staff and dentist, I instantly felt comfortable, which isn’t easy for me because I don’t like going to the dentist. But there’s nothing else I could ask for! After a few awful dental experiences, I’m so thankful I found a dentist who sees me as a person, not a way to make money.
