I love Dr. Mehta! It is a small dentist practice in Houston, TX, so I never feel rushed, and they treat you like family here. I always feel comfortable here. They don’t have the best hours, but I have always been able to make an appointment for one or two weeks beforehand. Dr. Mehta is knowledgeable and friendly, and so are his dental tech and assistant. The office is spotless and never too cold or too warm, which is a problem I see a lot of medical offices have. They have large windows that let in a lot of natural light. I’ve already recommended this place to all my friends and family.

One of the worst things about moving is having to find a new doctor or dentist, but I’m so happy I found Prestigious Smiles Dentistry in Houston, TX! From the receptionist to Dr. Zarghouni herself, everyone is so kind and welcoming. My hygienist really amazed me! She was so warm and asked questions so she could get to know me better. She’s so smart and she explained everything to expect from the cleaning. She looked over my X-rays with me and explained what she saw. Dr. Zarghouni was also pretty cool. She thoroughly answered all my questions and explained the condition of my mouth in a way I could easily understand. I highly recommend Prestigious Smiles Dentistry!

This Katy dentist office did a tooth extraction for me. The staff and office are all very nice. Dr. Kuti’s top priority was my comfort and he made sure I was numb before doing the procedure. I felt almost no pain. They called me the next day to make sure I was doing OK and to see if I had any questions. They emailed follow-up home care instructions, which have been very helpful. They’ve provided great care from the moment I walked and even into the next day with the follow up. I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you!

Dr. Nguyen and his staff at Heritage Dental in Katy are like long-time friends - I’ve been going there for more than a decade! I get excited to see them and always get the best dental care. Also, my husband has been going there since he was very young, and I had no idea! It’s the best dental office, and their work speaks for itself. If anyone on the team has a terrible day, they don’t let it show!

When you have an aching tooth, you probably need a filling placed. Doctors Network can help locate dental care in the Houston, TX area who takes walk-ins!

Adults are not the only ones who benefit from family dentistry. Adolescents need regular dental exams as well, and they need to be monitored by a dentist for signs of threats to their oral health. This could include dental misalignment, or for teens, wisdom tooth eruption. If you need to book an appointment with a family dentist in Houston, TX with experience providing pediatric dental care, then Doctors Network is able to help you.

Routine examinations should begin as early as age two, and should be scheduled twice a year. These visits enable your Houston pediatric dentist to watch the smile over time, and if areas of concern develop, such as toothaches, or gingivitis, then treatment might be required. In addition, kids can often receive fluoride treatments to strengthen the outer enamel of their teeth and prevent tooth cavities. Sealants, which coat the grooves on top of the back molars, can strengthen vulnerable adult teeth. In fact, sealants can last as long as a decade in some cases.

If you are searching for dentists in Houston who can offer care for kids, let us know. We want to help you find a dentist in your area. With routine care kids not only can enjoy healthy and strong smiles, but they also learn the value of good oral hygiene. Checkups and cleanings can start them on the path to a lifetime of healthy smiles. All of it starts with that first checkup and cleaning. We have reached the season when adults and children will be enjoying sports and outdoor activities. While we hope everyone enjoys their activities, we know that dental injuries are possible. Sometimes, especially when it comes to contact sports, teeth could be damaged, and when dental trauma occurs, care is needed. Even minor damages could lead to an increased risk of tooth decay. Doctors Network can help you book an appointment with a dentist that is open on weekends in Houston, TX who can examine the situation.

The outside of each tooth protects the dentition. The enamel protects the sensitive inner structures from bacteria, and from the onset of tooth decay. But when a tooth is chipped, this could lead to painful symptoms. You need treatment even if the damage appears minor. Likewise, you should let us know if you need a Houston dentist who accepts patients without dental insurance for more minor complaints. Persistent discomfort and objects caught between the teeth could compromise your smile. Don’t forget that loose teeth are causes for concern as well. You also need care if a tooth filling or crown is compromised!

After you contact Doctors Network and begin searching for your Houston, TX dentist, you can ease your discomfort by taking over-the-counter medications to ease discomfort. A piece of cloth can stem bleeding. Applying an ice pack can ease facial swelling too. If a tooth is damaged or knocked loose, recover the tooth or any pieces and bring them in a sealed container. They can be placed in a glass of cold milk or salt water.

The first step toward a new smile is a consultation with your cosmetic dentist in Houston, TX. The doctor will carefully examine your smile. Gum contouring utilizes laser technology to reshape the gum line and correct gummy smiles. When a tooth develops an infection, treatment is required. Not seeking care means the tooth could essentially die. At this stage, the tooth might need to be extracted. Otherwise, the infection moves into other parts of the smile. If posible, a better treatment for an infected tooth is an endodontic treatment. The procedure is effective, but sometimes a tooth becomes infected again and requires additional care. You may need to schedule an appointment with one of our great Houston dentists for further treatments.

A root canal involves removing the tissues from the inside and root canals. The interiors and root canals are cleaned, and a restorative material known as gutta percha is then added to the tooth. In many cases, the tooth is then capped with a tooth crown. The restoration is often custom-made to protect the tooth and also match the rest of the smile. But if the procedure is not successful, the prognosis of the condition could be questionable. The tooth could begin developing symptoms, such as toothaches and discomfort when biting down. If you experience this, don’t risk missing teeth. Doctors Network can connect you with an endodontist in Houston, TX that can offer additional treatment and accepts private patients.

If you don’t have dental coverage don’t let that discourage you! Doctors Network can offer a direct dental plan to make dental care budget-friendly. With a monthly membership fee, you can receive a root canal retreatment without breaking the bank!

Major problems arise when we lose natural teeth. Obviously, there are problems with consuming solid foods. Even talking clearly could be a problem. However, the major problem is the loss of structure in the jaw. This weakens the jaw, and could even cause an older appearance. More importantly, this prevents dental implant placement. Additional treatments could be necessary to strengthen the jaw in order to make dental implant placement possible! Fortunately, Doctors Network could help you find a great Houston oral and maxillofacial surgeon who is in-network with discount dental plans and offers this care. In addition, we could also discuss our membership program to make dental care affordable!

Bone grafting is also referred to as ridge augmentation. Essentially this enables the dentist to rebuild jawbone structure in your mandible. Your dentist could employ new tissue from multiple sources. Tissue could be sourced from the back of the jaw or the hip. Donor materials could also be used. Some opt for synthetic materials. In a surgical procedure, these are applied to the areas of weakened structure in the mandible.

Once the area heals, biocompatible dental implants could be placed. The body will allow them to bond with the jaw. As a result, they help prevent any further breakdown in the jaw, preserving your smile. Our team can connect you to a dentist or oral surgeon in Houston, TX who performs jawbone grafting, and also let you know about our membership plan to make sure your care fits in your budget!

From 1836 to 1845, Texas was its own independent nation, and it is the only state to have joined the U.S. through treaty rather than territorial annexation. Today, it is home to nearly 28 million people, making it the second most populous state (next to California) as well as the second largest (next to Alaska). Known as the Lone Star State, Texas’ independence and spirit has persevered throughout its history, and today’s Texans continue to do things their way. When it comes to dental health care, that means offering families across the state highly affordable alternatives to dental insurance through direct plans. Provided by your dentist in partnership with Doctors Network, a direct dental plan guarantees significant savings on all treatments that your dentist and oral health specialists provide, and it works whether or not you already have insurance coverage.
