My family has been seeing Dr. Afridi, and we think he’s nothing short of attentive, competent, intelligent, careful and highly trained. Dr. Afridi did many implants for my elderly mother. He was very careful not to hurt her and really took his time. The end result was great - to this day, she can still eat solid foods! A few years after the implants, however, she developed gum disease and an infection (probably a lack of oral hygiene), and her last dentist never said anything about it. Dr. Afridi was able to save her teeth and implants. He saw her right away and followed up to make sure everything was going alright. We don’t want anything like that to happen to her again, so now he’s in charge of her dental care from now on. As for myself, I had a calcified front tooth due to a bad root canal from a specialist. I really don’t blame him though because I knew it was a potential complication. My general dentist referred me to Dr. Afridi for follow-up treatment and an implant. I was scared and wanted to be knocked out during it, but he promised it wouldn’t hurt. And he was right. Even though I needed bone generation and gum generation for my implant, they were able to give me a temporary tooth on that same day. My coworker actually did a similar procedure to mine at another place because it was cheaper, and he went through a ton of pain and couldn’t go to work because of it. They are transparent and explain every step along the way. During my first appointment, we did the usual x-rays, exam, and consultation. They told me of the problem areas and how to address them. They didn’t attempt to push me into paying for unnecessary products or procedures. Dr. Sandhu’s chairside manner is just remarkable, and her dedication to her work and her passion guarantees that she will do everything to the best of her ability. They have performed fillings and crowns for me, and they seem very detail oriented and use the latest equipment. And for Dr. Sandhu’s staff, they are a direct reflection of her. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. All in all, if you have a busy family life and are looking for a quality family dentist, look no further.

My old dentist in Oakland Gardens retired and it has been a while since I saw anyone else. Dr. Bieber is my new dentist, but it’s still the same kind of staff and hygienists. Dr. Bieber is very nice and is a great fit for this dentistry. Everyone seems to like him. I actually look forward to going to this dentist. He’s very knowledgeable and I look forward to remaining his patient. The office girls and hygienists are very nice.

The office has a convenient location, and the staff makes scheduling an appointment very easy. The hygienist who took care f me cleaned my teeth and took a set of X-rays. She was very patient and gentle, which helped ease my anxiety. I opted to invest in teeth whitening. They took impressions that day. I was able to pick up the kit the next day and was thankful for the thorough instructions I received. They even followed up with me, thanking me for coming in. I may not like going to the dentist, but Dr. Babayev and BH Franklin Dental make it a whole lot easier to maintain a beautiful smile.

It’s really stressful to find a new dentist after moving to a new place, so I’m thrilled to have found Dr. Richard Kaufman. His practice is the best I’ve been to. The staff is personable, and the assistants truly care about patient comfort. They even made adjustments when I had trouble with my x-rays. I love that Dr. Kaufman takes the time to talk to his patients and get to know them personally. He is excellent at his craft, far better than the previous dentists I’ve seen. I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. He is affordable and whenever I call about dental problems they’re able to get me in on the same day. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you need a dentist in the Bronx.

About 6 months ago, I developed an issue with my gums. I went to Dr. Azbel to have him look at it. I got the recommended deep cleaning, which took two sessions and numbing. It was wonderful. The whole staff is really friendly and inviting. To be honest, the deep cleaning sessions were a bit time consuming, but they let you watch Netflix, so it’s not too bad. They do a good job of informing patients and making sure their patients are comfortable. It was nice to understand each step of the process. They also give informative tips but don’t lecture you about your oral health. Overall, it’s good customer service, which is really hard to find in a dentist nowadays. I highly recommend Lucky Dental.

My appointment was scheduled easily and they catered to my scheduling needs. When I arrived, the staff was welcoming and my wait was quick. My hygienist was out of this world. She was so professional and approachable – an overall great job. She inquired into my needs. She walked through and explained everything she was doing and made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Borgella was thorough, and didn’t sell me any unnecessary dental work. At the end they were clear on the suggested treatment plan. Overall, I cannot be happier with my experience. My mom has never experienced any pain from the procedures Dr. Sandhu has done. The hygienist is also great. She is very meticulous.

Came in with little to almost no wait time and was able to explain my situation/tooth concerns without feeling uncomfortable. I never once felt judged or pressured into making any decision. My husband and I started going to Dr. Mangiaracina after moving to Merrick, NY from another state. Initially, we chose this practice because they were PPO with our dental plan. We’ve had incredible service since our first appointment. The service has been great. Appointments are on time and never canceled. They’re ready for you as soon as you come in, even if you’re the first appointment of the day. The receptionist and hygienists provide wonderful service as well. It’s always very convenient and easy to schedule an appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Mangiaracina and her entire staff.

I’ve done Invisalign with them, and am happy with how my teeth look.

Dr. Rosen in Cedarhurst, NY is such an incredible dentist. And all of my experiences with his hygienists have been spectacular, they clean your teeth better than I have ever experienced. They are very thorough, and so friendly that you are saddened when it's over. The staff as a whole are so genuine, and they know you by name. I have been a patient at this practice for a while now, way before Dr. Choi took over the practice. I can honestly say I’m very satisfied with the work she does. She’s very personal, she always remembers what’s going on in her patients’ lives. I am thrilled to have found Dr. Lerner's practice. My wife was suffering due to an impacted wisdom tooth and needed it extracted immediately. He was able to fit her into his schedule with very little notice and removed her wisdom tooth. It was a painless process for her--just x-rays, a couple of shots, and a little bit of pressure. We were on our way home in less than an hour. Seeing how well she was treated inspired me to have my own work done. I made an appointment to fix a chipped tooth/implant. We can’t thank Dr. Lerner and his staff enough.

I’ve only been here for a checkup but I’m already very impressed with Big Apple Dental. I was running late, so they only had time for the checkup and told me to come back for the cleaning, but I still can’t believe how caring they were, they really took time to listen to my questions and concerns. The dentist in Wyandanch was very thorough when he went through my x-rays, he explained everything that was going on with my mouth. The hygienist was great too, he went through everything with me, and especially explained the effects of my teeth grinding to me. I never knew I grind my teeth at night, but it helped me realize the cause of a lot of the issues I was having with my teeth. The staff could tell I was anxious so they tried to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Everyone there was very detail oriented and caring. I love this place, and I am actually looking forward to going back, which is weird to say about the dentist.
