I’ve only been here for a checkup but I’m already very impressed with Big Apple Dental. I was running late, so they only had time for the checkup and told me to come back for the cleaning, but I still can’t believe how caring they were, they really took time to listen to my questions and concerns. The dentist in Wyandanch was very thorough when he went through my x-rays, he explained everything that was going on with my mouth. The hygienist was great too, he went through everything with me, and especially explained the effects of my teeth grinding to me. I never knew I grind my teeth at night, but it helped me realize the cause of a lot of the issues I was having with my teeth. The staff could tell I was anxious so they tried to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Everyone there was very detail oriented and caring. I love this place, and I am actually looking forward to going back, which is weird to say about the dentist.

After having a terrible experience with another local dentist, I decided to give Dr. Kaminsky DDS a chance. I haven’t received such quality care since I was a kid. The entire staff is inviting and informative. Dr. Kaminsky is a wonderful person, as is his hygienist. They give honest, dependable service. It’s honestly everything you could hope for from a dentist. Thank you, Dr. Kaminsky. I can’t recommend you enough!

Periodontal disease is very widespread. In fact, studies from the Centers for Disease Control reveal about 50% of adults over 30 require treatment for periodontal concerns. Without treatment, gum disease could reach an advanced stage. Also known as periodontal disease, this is actually the most common cause of missing teeth. All that to say, when you develop the symptoms of the disease, you should seek help as soon as possible. Sore, red gums that bleed easily, along with receding tissues, are common indicators that you need to find a New Haven community dental professional.

Doctor Network’s search engine can help connect you with reconstructive dentists in New Haven CT that accept new patients and can offer a treatment plan after a dental examination. If there is any sign of inflammation, then a treatment plan can be created. For milder cases, a deep cleaning followed by traditional cleanings every 3 to 4 months could help you avoid tooth loss. For the later stages of the disease, there are options like laser dentistry, gum grafts, and more to restore your gums!

After all, your smile is important!

How does the disease start? The disease could occur due to improper brushing and flossing. As discussed above, tell-tell signs include sore, red, and bleeding gums. By seeing a dentist in New Haven, CT you can receive gum treatments like gum grafting to bring relief and improve your oral health. It is important for children to visit a dental professional every six months for dental visits and cleanings. By teaching children how to take care of their teeth, you are ensuring that they have the tools to have healthy smiles for ever. If you are looking for a dentist in New Haven who accepts private patients, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering exams and cleanings, pediatric dentists on Doctors Network also provide your kids with sealants. These are small pieces of BPA-free acrylic that dentists paint onto their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a shield between their adult molars and harmful germs. This ultimately prevents the risk of tooth decay by up to eighty percent. It is a simple procedure that is very effective at preventing cavities on adult teeth in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another great tool that your pediatric dentists provide. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that helps bolster your child’s teeth. While enamel is one of the most durable substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your little one’s teeth become more susceptible to cavities. Fluoride treatment prevents this from happening. Using high-fluoride toothpaste can also help. To learn more, please schedule an appointment with one of our network dental professionals in New Haven.

Many folks would prefer to have a whiter smile. When you stroll down the aisles of any grocery store, you see myriad products that tout their teeth whitening abilities. If you have purchased any of these, you know that they almost always provide disappointing results. However, professional tooth bleaching can actually provide a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in New Haven, CT that works with patients with no dental coverage, we can help you find one that offers professional teeth whitening.

When you visit your New Haven dentist, they can provide you with either an at-home or in-office option. With the in-office option, you will typically be out within about an hour, and you will have noticeably whiter teeth. When you come in, your dentist will apply a bleaching gel to your front teeth that is then activated with a specialized light that removes discoloration.

If you would prefer to go with an at-home treatment, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can fill with a safe peroxide solution. You will put these on for one or two hours each day for about 2 weeks. Once this treatment is complete, you will have a whiter smile. If you would like to book a visit with a New Haven dentist that accepts patients with no dental coverage, we can help you find the best ones.

If it has been a long time since you last saw a dentist, you should schedule an appointment as soon as possible. When you go in for consistent dental checkups, your dentist can thoroughly examine your smile to make sure nothing is awry. This helps prevent infections from occurring, minimizing the chance of needing more expensive procedures in the future. If you need to schedule an online appointment with a dentist in New Haven, CT that accepts self-pay patients we can help you find a great match.

When you go in for an exam, your dentist will begin with a professional cleaning. This will remove built-up that is difficult to remove at home — even with great brushing and flossing habits. The dental cleaning will leave your smile feeling fresh.

Once your cleaning is completed, your New Haven dentist will begin his or her examination. During this portion of your visit, the dentist will thoroughly look at your teeth to identify any potential issues. Should they notice something awry, they will explain your treatment options. The New Haven dentist we set you up with will offer a wide range of services to address a variety of dental needs. When you visit the dentist consistently they can keep track of the health of your mouth. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a visit with a dentist that works with self-pay patients, we can help you find a great one.

I'm a freelancer, so I can't buy insurance easily, so I always ended up paying a lot for doctors' visits. I signed up for a Doctors Network dental plan, and my dental cleanings cost only $25 now. If you don't have dental insurance I highly recommend it.
