He earned his dental degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry after completing his undergraduate studies at Washington State University. During his education, Dr. Carmody developed a particular interest in helping patients manage dental anxiety, gaining valuable experience at the Dental Fears Clinic in Seattle. His passion for patient care further expanded at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, where he specialized in providing oral health support for cancer patients undergoing radiation and chemotherapy.

Dr. Hurtado completed his Bachelor’s in Health Sciences at the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEM) before earning his Dental degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara (UAG). His commitment to advancing his knowledge led him to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he pursued a diploma in Oral Biology.

Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Dr. Hurtado fondly recalls a childhood shaped by the love and guidance of his parents. His father was a pharmaceutical representative, and his mother dedicated herself to raising their close-knit family.

After relocating to the United States for his studies, Dr. Hurtado began his career in dentistry and quickly made his mark. He has been happily married to his wife, Blanca, for over 25 years, and together they’ve raised three children. Their eldest, Alexander, is pursuing Medicine; their middle child is studying Business; and their youngest, Andrea, is majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Psychology.

When he's not caring for his patients, Dr. Hurtado enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends. He loves traveling, deep-sea fishing, playing racquetball, and exploring the outdoors.
