Dr. Wendelschafer’s interest in dentistry was sparked during high school when he had the opportunity to shadow oral surgeons his mother worked for. It was then that he realized he wanted to pursue a career in dentistry. He never shied away from a challenge. As a student athlete, he earned a track scholarship while balancing the demands of studying, training, and working part-time installing metal roof panels in the Arizona heat. His determination led him to pursue a degree at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health, where he graduated and then gained practical experience in a corporate dental setting in Mesa.

In time, Dr. Wendelschafer took over at Great Smiles Dental Care when the previous doctor retired, and he has since been dedicated to providing the communities of Surprise, Sun City, and beyond with healthy, beautiful smiles. I called Dentistry at Greenway for an appointment and got in on the same day. The staff was very nice and helpful. The office was nicely appointed and comfortable. Dr. Gandhi was also very nice, concise about how the procedure would happen and what I should do after. Everything about my recovery was well explained. I was comfortable and I felt like they really took care of me. All done, it was a pleasant experience, especially for my first time there, and I will be coming back

Dr. Donald A. Eberhart grew up in the suburbs of Southern California and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology, with minors in Psychology and Art History, from the University of California, San Diego. After completing his degree, he took some time to travel across Europe before attending the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where he graduated with honors. After spending most of his life in California, Dr. Eberhart made the decision to relocate to Arizona and begin his dental career in the Grand Canyon State.

Dr. Eberhart is dedicated to providing his patients with the latest advancements in dental technology. His state-of-the-art office is equipped with innovative tools, such as CEREC technology, which allows him to create crowns in a single visit without the need for traditional impressions. Dr. Jaime A. Tobon is a native of Miami, FL. He is a former Sergeant and a veteran of the US Army. He received an honorable discharge after serving tours in Honduras, Germany, and Fort Riley, Kansas. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Kansas State University before earning his degree from Missouri School of Dentistry in Kansas City. He also attended an oral surgery externships at the Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, and at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix while in dental school.

Dr. Tobon completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency after graduation in order to elevate his training in advanced oral surgery procedures such as dental implant surgery and endodontics. He is committed to dental excellence, which is why he has training in multiple aspect of dentistry including TMD therapy and computer-guided implant placement. He is a fellow and an active member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).

Dr. Sharon Bader was born in Trinidad, West Indies. In 1988, she earned her Bachelor of Science form the University of Toronto. In 1996, Dr. Bader graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor MI. She then enhanced her training by attending a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Michigan.

Dr. Bader has been a practicing dentist ever since, and she completes over 50 hours of post-graduate continuing education annually to stay up to date with current dental science, including advancements in techniques, materials, and dental implants.

Dr. Bader and her family have been living in Phoenix since 2000, where she has been providing top-notch and personalized dentistry in this area. She cares about every one of her patients. Dr. Elizabeth is a proud graduate of the Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University, where she earned her undergraduate degree, before going on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Following her dental education, she was commissioned as an officer in the United States Air Force, where she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency.

During her nine years of active duty, Dr. Elizabeth had the opportunity to serve in diverse and impactful roles. She was the command dentist on a humanitarian mission to El Salvador, worked as a White House Social Aide to the President, and traveled globally as a combat medic, providing care to those who protect and serve our nation. After completing her military service, she returned to private practice and now serves as a managing partner at Arrowhead Family Dentistry. Dr. Elizabeth also continues to serve her country as a reservist in the United States Air Force.

A native of Phoenix, Dr. Elizabeth is thrilled to practice dentistry in the community where she grew up. She has been recognized as one of the best dentists in Peoria by *Three Best Rated*, and she is passionate about connecting with her patients to make them feel comfortable, valued, and well cared for. My first time here I came in because I had intense teeth and gum pain. After x-rays and a consult with Dr. Owens, he was able to do a quick bite adjustment and I had no pain. I love seeing the staff at Adrian Pulkrabek DDS in Glendale. I had a lot of teeth problems and needed a lot of procedures over the past year. The receptionist let me know how much I needed to pay and explained the billing and insurance part of it. Dr. Pulkrabek is a pro! My old periodontist put me through a lot of horrible, unnecessary procedures. But Dr. Pulkrabek is amazing and truly cares about me. I finally have my smile again! Dr. Ryu completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering at Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York City, graduating in May 1992. In 1994, he enrolled at New York University College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in 1998. Dr. Pulkrabek is a lifesaver! I’d been looking for an affordable dentist I could trust, but I couldn’t find anyone. Visiting the dentist was never a great experience until someone told me to go to Family & Cosmetic Dental. I did do a bit of “dentist hopping” before finding the right one. Dr. Pulkrabek never tried to push unnecessary procedures, and he was truthful and direct. Plus, he’s really funny! He even suggested I get braces. I definitely needed them, but I couldn’t find a dentist that would provide stress-free ortho work. I’ve been seeing Dr. Pulkrabek for a few years. Though the commute is a bit much since we are on opposite sides of Phoenix, it’s worth it because I know I can trust him. I’ve seen a different hygienist with every appointment I’ve gone too, but they are all great at their jobs and fun to be around. My husband even loves seeing Dr. Pulkrabek, which shows how great he is. I mean, who says they like going to the dentist? But we do! Make an appointment - your teeth with thank you!

This was my very first visit after reading the reviews about Smile-ist and I found them even better than the reviews said. I was scared a bit, but Dr. Kulkarni took good care of me. They are completely honest. They told me exactly what the problem is in my teeth. They are the best dentist in Phoenix as far as I am concerned. I highly recommend Smile-ist!!!!!
