I already love Dr. Morrison, even though I haven’t been coming here for very long. I’ve had a lot of problems with the previous dentist in Richmond, so it was nice to go to a dentist who listens to me. Dr. Morrison has given me some great advice on how to fix those mistakes and improve my dental care for the future. The staff here at Family Dentistry is kind and knowledgeable. They make going to the dentist enjoyable. The office has the latest technology and is always clean. They can have a crown done in 8 minutes thanks to the technology they have. Anyone in need of dental work should come here.

I’ve been looking for a new dentist for a loooong time, and I finally found him: Dr. Morrison! The entire staff from the front office to the exam room made the experience one to remember. Check in was quick and easy with only a few forms to complete, and they got me back within 15 minutes. The exam room was spotless, organized, and cozy. The hygienists did a good job with my cleaning and kept making sure I was doing alright. Dr. Morrison was very empathetic when I told him that I hadn’t seen a dentist in a long time because I lost my medical and dental coverage. He told me not to worry and said he was proud that I came in. He never harped on me about my dental problems and reassured me by saying that it wasn’t as bad as it could be and that a few simple procedures could fix everything. The fluoride treatment was nice, and booking an appointment and paying for any extra costs was a breeze. I’m going to take my kids to Family Dentistry in Richmond very soon, too!

dental-implants-or-bridge

As adolescents, we lose our primary teeth as our smile develops. However, in adulthood, losing teeth is caused by oral health issues. The advanced stage of gum disease is the number one cause. Since missing teeth at this age isn’t natural, this means oral health complications. You could have difficulties consuming solid foods. Problems talking clearly may develop. Finally, you could risk impacting your smile, or even your facial structure. You need an amazing private dentist in Virginia Union, VA who can replace missing teeth. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help locate one.

First, we will connect you to a dedicated dentist in your area. After that, your new dentist can evaluate your smile to understand the factors behind your tooth loss. For minor cases, a dental bridge could be placed, addressing one to three missing teeth in a row. For several missing teeth, partial dentures could offer a solution and restore bite function. Finally, a complete denture or CD could be crafted and secured. While most fulls and partial dentures are removable, they could be secured with dental implants. Dental implants are secured like natural teeth, and prevent negative changes to your mandible and maxilla and facial structure following missing a tooth.

If you live in the Virginia Union‘s proximity and need a solution for tooth loss, let us help. We can get you started on receiving the tooth replacement you need. Model-worthy teeth are within reach, even if you’ve suffered edentulism, and even if years have gone by since that happened!

P. S. Please celebrate our dentists in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you have a sleep disorder, you may not think a dentist could help. But in fact, dentists can provide a comfortable option to treat sleep apnea. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a condition in which when you sleep, the soft palate and the back of your mouth collapse and cause you to stop breathing. Patients with OSA literally stop breathing briefly until the brain wakes them. Even if you assume you slept well, you could experience daytime drowsiness! But when is it necessary to contact Doctors Network and find Virginia Union, VA dentists who provide treatment options?

Symptoms of OSA include chronic snoring. Daytime drowsiness, and trouble with interpersonal relationships could occur too. With no treatment, the condition could even impact your immune system and increase the risk of heart disease. When you notice similar signs, consider talking to a dentist. Often, oral appliance therapy can be helpful to keep airways free of obstruction, so you can finally enjoy a good night’s rest.

This week we are honoring our dentists in Manhattan, NY.

tooth-bonding

If you have a fractured tooth or a tooth that is misshapen or stained, then you need a cosmetic treatment. With contouring and tooth-color bonding in Virginia Union, VA, these cosmetic imperfections can be corrected in only one sitting. At Doctors Network, we are here to help connect you with a dental professional in Virginia Union, VA who takes new patients and provides the comprehensive treatments you need. You may not believe just how much these two treatments can do in only one appointment.

Dental filling repairs esthetic concerns using a metal-free material. The composite resin, a mixture of glass and acrylic particles, is shaded and placed onto the prepared area. Virginia Union dentists also use this material for fillings. During contouring, the dentist simply buffs and polishes the outer tooth enamel or restoration to correct the appearances of cosmetic concerns.

This week we are celebrating our Brooklyn local dentists. Utilizing both treatments, these dentists will be able to reshape malformed teeth, fixed broken or fractured teeth, mask stains on teeth, and even close gaps between the teeth.

Periodontitis is very widespread. In fact, studies from the CDC reveal about 50% of adults over 30 have gum disease. Without treatment, gum disease could reach an advanced stage. Known as periodontal disease, this is actually one of the most common causes of missing teeth. All that to say, when you develop discomfort in the gums, you should seek help as soon as you can. Sore, red gums that bleed easily, along with receding tissues, are common indicators that you need to see a Virginia Union restorative dentist.

Doctor Network’s dentist search tool can help connect you with family dentists in Virginia Union VA that accept new patients and can offer a route to a healthier smile after examining your smile. If there is a presence of inflammation, then a treatment can be planned. For milder cases, a deep cleaning followed by traditional cleanings every 3 to 4 months could help you avoid tooth loss. For the later stages of the disease, there are options like laser dentistry, pocket reduction, gum grafts, and more to protect your smile!

You can’t put a price on showing off a perfect smile, but as we get older, many of us struggle with the loss of natural teeth. Missing teeth could lead to difficulty with eating and speaking, and can even lead to a prematurely aged appearance. To treat missing teeth, people often turn to dental implants. Unlike traditional options, such as dentures or fixed partial dentures, these are connected to posts placed into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like bridges are securely attached to these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but far much longer with proper care.

Are you ready to tackle your tooth loss with dental implants? If you are wondering how much a dental implant costs in Virginia Union, you are not alone, but firstly, you should find a Virginia Union dentist who can offer tooth replacement. Doctors Network’s search tool can help you with this, connecting you to a dental office who not only can address your concerns about missing teeth, but also works with walk-in patients. Same-day appointments are usually available. You can even sign up for a Doctors Network membership plan to decrease the cost of your procedure.

The dentist will carefully examine your smile. Underlying oral health concerns may need to be considered before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer new teeth that look and function like natural dentition!

Virginia isn’t just one of the 13 original colonies; it is home to the first English settlement in the New World, Jamestown. Not long after, Virginia also saw the end of the American Revolution with the surrender of Cornwallis at Yorktown. With its close proximity to the nation’s capital, Washington, D.C., more Virginians today work for the government than any other industry, equaling about a quarter of the state’s population. Nevertheless, out of the state’s 8.4 million residents, over 10% do not have insurance, which can make keeping up with routine dental care difficult and expensive. That’s why Doctors Network has teamed up with dentists across the Old Dominion State to provide patients with more affordable direct dental plans. Whether you have insurance or not, a direct dental plan guarantees that you can receive the high-quality of care you deserve while paying significantly reduced prices.
