Dr. Mehran Azar graduated with honors from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. He then graduated from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He completed a General Practice Residency program at Hackensack University Medical Center. During his education, Dr. Azar earned the Ash. B. Dr. Perry and his employees are amazing. 2 years ago, I inadvertently came across them when I urgently required a root canal. I left a message and I was called straight back by Dr. Perry. They were able to get me in straight away and tell me what to take in the meantime. I chose to fix my chipped front teeth after a few crowns and root canals. I’ve been to multiple dental practices. Thanks to bad genetics, I’ve had my fair share of cavities, root canals, and now an infected tooth that needed to be removed. Dr. Kaminsky was wonderful throughout the whole process. I initially came here just to get a second opinion and was so impressed that they didn’t even charge me for the X-rays they took so they could see the infected tooth better. Dr. Kaminsky sat with me for at least half an hour, discussing treatment options and prices. I was able to have the infected tooth and my wisdom teeth removed on the same day. I was unbelievably nervous, but I didn’t experience any pain. I’m grateful I didn’t have to be put under. That lowered the cost. Dr. Kaminsky had the best possible bedside manner, which truly is a rare find in dentistry.

I have trusted Dr. Murphy at Radiance Dental for quite a few years. She is just incredible. Her team at the Scarsdale, NY office treat you like family. This was the first time I have come into Dr. Rafya Sandhu’s office in Westbury, NY. I arrived a bit early to the Westbury Smile Center, and they were able to get me in immediately and proceeded to get my x-rays taken care of. During my cleaning, the dentist and dental hygienist seemed to have a great working relationship; they were joking the entire time and kept me engaged. I would most definitely refer my family and friends to this dental practice.

Dr. Margaret Drozdowski Maule attended St. Joseph's College in Brooklyn, NY where she earned her undergraduate degree. She then went to the University of Connecticut School of Dental medicine where she earned her graduate degree in 1998. In 1999, she completed a residency training program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the same school. In 2002, Dr. Drozdowski Maule joined the Community Health Center and served as the agency's Chief Dental Officer between the years 2005 and 2014. Dr. Richard Kaufman and his staff are incredibly expeditious. I had a dental emergency, and abscess, and was promptly scheduled for an appointment even though they were already incredibly booked. The office is very new and spacious. They promptly took my x-rays and then displayed them on a large monitor in the patient room. Dr. Kaufman discussed both my situation and my treatment options very thoroughly with me. A few weeks later, I went back for an extraction and did the prep for an implant. The cost was very affordable. I cannot recommend the office highly enough.

A few years ago, my husband and I moved to New York, and that’s when I met Dr. Afridi. As soon as I met him, I knew I could trust him, and finding a trustworthy dentist in a new area is never easy! I needed a lot of dental work, but he kept me comfortable the whole time he did my fillings and crowns. I did visit another dentist in Glen Oaks, but it was just okay. From then on, I vowed never to go anywhere other than Everlasting Smiles Dental. Even though it’s a bit of a drive for me, I’d rather keep seeing Dr. Afridi than trust another dentist with my smile. I’m so impressed with this dental clinic. When you’re his patient, he really makes you feel like part of his family.

My wisdom tooth cracked late one night, but by 7:30 the next morning, I was in Dr. Mangiaracina’s office receiving treatment. I had reached out to them as soon as my tooth cracked and they promptly followed-up as soon as the got to the office. Dr. Mangiaracina is extremely skilled and meticulous. I normally experience some pain when the novocaine wears off, but this time, I didn’t even need to take a pain reliever. It was truly the best dental work I’ve experienced. Everything from the novocaine injection to the casting of the crown was done expertly.

I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. He is affordable and whenever I call about dental problems they’re able to get me in on the same day. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you need a dentist in the Bronx.

I’ve been a patient at BH Franklin Dental for over two years and am impressed with the continued level of quality service. Dr. Babayev is an excellent dentist. She uses innovative techniques and new technology to provide pain-free care. The hygienists are very helpful. I normally hate getting my teeth cleaned, but they make you feel comfortable. The receptionists are flexible with scheduling appointments and are very personable and kind. If you’re nervous about going to the dentist, don’t fear; go to BH Franklin Dental. You’ll be so glad you did.

My old dentist in Oakland Gardens retired and it has been a while since I saw anyone else. Dr. Bieber is my new dentist, but it’s still the same kind of staff and hygienists. Dr. Bieber is very nice and is a great fit for this dentistry. Everyone seems to like him. I actually look forward to going to this dentist. He’s very knowledgeable and I look forward to remaining his patient. The office girls and hygienists are very nice.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Borgella the whole staff at Reginald Borgella’s dental office. For a number of reasons, especially being afraid of the dentist, it had been WAY too long since I’d had an exam, and so I had to get some serious work done on my teeth. I visited the Bronx office over the course of several months to get everything completed. Each and every time, I was clearly informed about what was needed and the process, how much it would cost, and most importantly was welcomed and put at ease. I live far away, but driving to Dr. Borgella is worth it for the wonderful care that’s coming your way!

I’d heard an advertisement on the radio and decided to give Dr. Hassid a shot. The ad said to come in no matter how scared of the dentist you were, and I have an extreme phobia. I needed my teeth cleaned and even some teeth extracted. Dr. Hassid did a double root canal, a couple bridges, and some implants. The receptionist staff was kind and everyone here was very helpful, from the office staff, to the dentist, to the dental assistants. They were all very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like family coming here, and anyone in the area should check them out.

Dr. Cosentino is awesome. I left his office feeling happy, and I usually hate the dentist and am never a good patient, especially when I have a toothache. But my time at Dr. Cosentino was the best experience I’ve ever had. Much better than my old dentist in Corona, NY. Everyone here was kind, nice, and very honest with what I needed. I’m no longer afraid of the dentist. This place is affordable too, which is great. They gave me a follow up call and answered all my questions, I can’t thank them enough.

I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

I really needed a new dentist when I found this place, I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. The office is spotless and organized. It is small, but I don’t mind that. They treat you like an individual here, and they aren’t worried about treating as many patients as possible. They treat you like a human being. The front office staff is helpful and nice. They will call you to remind you about your upcoming appointment and will even do a follow-up call a couple days after your appointment. Dr. Normatov is awesome. I came in for a deep cleaning and a checkup and she was very professional and easy to talk to, which made me feel comfortable and satisfied with the service I received. She did the cleaning herself, which is something I wasn’t expecting. We even got to talk about food. Again, she’s easy to talk to and really knows her stuff. I’m actually excited to go back and see her.

I don't think I could say enough good things about Queens Central Dental. Everyone is so welcoming and very sweet. I mean, I love going to the dentist (weird, I know!), but this place will make you love the dentist if you're not already a dentist lover in the Jackson Heights area. I just love how personable the Dr. Ames is and they also do an amazing job on all my examinations :)

Dr. Isakharov is simply the best! I've been putting off this tooth that needed filling for about 5 years and it finally gave out. Elite Dental got me in the same day and was quite affordable. The staff was friendly and the work was done quickly and thoroughly. I couldn't thank them enough!

Dr. Shyam Shivareddy is prepared to give professional guidance and advice to anyone who asks, and is always welcoming new patients to his practice. After earning his Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery, Dr. Shivareddy entered the DDS program at New York University College of Dentistry where he earned his DDS degree. Since then, Dr. Shivareddy has been a strong believer in continuing dental education courses. He also volunteers 15 days each year to providing dental services to underprivileged people, free of charge.

If I could give more than 5 stars for this place, I would. This Rego Park dentist office is beautiful. The staff is very kind and professional. You won’t have to worry about your insurance or dental plans here. This place is almost like a spa, they have wax-hand dipped warming gloves and blankets for if their patients get cold. The dental hygienists are very friendly. Dr. Thomopoulos was great, she was thorough during my exam and took some photos so I could see the fillings I had before, but also a new cavity. She was willing to go through all my questions and was very careful with my teeth. I always hated going to the dentist, but now I feel completely at ease with Dr. Thomopoulos, she made me feel like I wasn’t just another patient, but rather a human being. I’ve referred her to everyone I know. I am a big fan of chapstick, and the free chapsticks here are awesome. Just another reason this place is awesome!

Dr. Sandhu and the staff are truly exceptional by being welcoming and being on time with their appointment schedules. Dentist visits can be intimidating, but with this office, I feel content and secure that I am being managed well. Dr. Sandhu is pleasant and answers all questions. I recommend this office; I have been coming here for a year and will continue to go.

I didn't know what to expect going to the dentist in the US, I just moved here from Russia and to my surprise it was great. I made an appointment for the earliest time available. Came in with little to almost no wait time and was able to explain my situation/tooth concerns without feeling uncomfortable. I never once felt judged or pressured into making any decision. After my appointment, the doctor went over with me a personalized treatment plan they had drafted to decide what should be done next. I will definitely be back soon.

Dr. Azbel has been impeccable. The staff at Lucky Dental are so personable, informative, and attentive. I love my visits so far to this clinic; my teeth cleanings have been great. They allowed me to wear headphones and listen to music while they worked, which eased my anxieties considerably. The parking situation was pretty good, and I love Dr. Azbel.

It feels a little odd to rate my dentist like other services, but I do think Dr. Rosen is the best dentist I have ever had. I have been his patient for a few years now. You can ask for the noise canceling headphones if you are having a more extended procedure. I have visited with all the hygienists at this office in Cedarhurst, NY. They all have a great sense of humor and do such a great job. Dr. Rosen will sit down and explain the process to you as deep or shallow as you want, and never appears to be in a rush. This office is so honest, and they will let you choose the course of action for when you are ready for it. I cannot recommend Dr. Alan Rosen enough!

My daughter and I started going to Dr. Minkowitz in Maspeth a couple months ago. A couple friends recommended them, so I thought we’d give them a shot. We’ve been very satisfied so far. The front office staff is nice and helpful when it comes to scheduling around our busy schedules, billing insurance, and figuring out the headache that is payments. The hygienists always do a great job and give me great tips about my dental health. Dr. Minkowitz is very nice. I’ve gotten a couple crowns and other dental work done by him. It’s really been great. He even offered to give me a new mouth guard without charging me because he thought I might like a thinner one. My 10 year old daughter also loves this place. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Incredible! I discovered Glendale Dental after having a terrible experience with my former dentist. It was easy to schedule an appointment, and I loved the staff. Dr. Cukier was amazing! He found a few things my previous dentist had missed. Plus, they were able to schedule my follow-up appointments for repairs very punctually and knew how to file with my insurance company. Yesterday, I had four fillings removed and replaced. The entire process when well. Dr. Cukier was very efficient. He even checked up on my later that evening to make sure I was feeling okay after the procedure. Overall, Glendale Dental deserves a perfect rating. I’m thrilled to have found such a competent dentist.
