I have a fear of dentist offices and anything relating to dentistry. I have avoided dental work I've needed done for years. This morning, I needed to have a wisdom tooth extracted that was infected and giving me awful pain. From the start of the day when I called to inquire if Dr. Borgella was available, I was greeted kindly by the awesome staff person who answered the phone. She confirmed my insurance was accepted there, even giving an idea of what I'd pay for an extraction. Upon arriving in at Dr. Borgella’s office in Bronx, she nicely greeted me and proceeded to give me the paperwork to complete as a new patient. This is what was stunning to me, I was seen on time!! I went in, got my cleaning and met the dentist, Dr. Borgella, who was nice, informative, and clear. They told me things I needed done, in addition to the extraction, but did not pressure this as an upsell. Surgery was easy and quick! The only thing that hurt was getting the anesthesia in the roof of my mouth. Ten hours later, I have absolutely no pain, wow! I will be back to Dr. Borgella DDS. Everyone in the office was kind and professional and the prices are right on point.

I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

Had such a pleasant experience at Queens Central Dental! No long wait time, organized facilities, friendly staff on hand, and great location in Jackson Heights . Dr. Ames made for a very stress-free process; I will 100% be back for my second cleaning. Thanks so much!!

Going to the dentist can be stressful, but that’s not the case at C K Galdieri. The minute you walk in, you are greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff that immediately relax your stress. The waiting room is clean and quiet. I have never waited more than five minutes before I am escorted to the examination by the technician or hygienist. The facilities right in Elmwood Park are very modern and they offer only the best technology for dental care. I am blown away, a customer for life! I can’t say enough good things about Smile by Choice. They do great work and are great people. This dentist office in the Upper West Side, Manhattan was right down the street from my office, and so I started going here about 3 months ago. I now work downtown Manhattan, but I still come here for the great dental service. I love going to my cleanings twice a year. I’ve never missed a dental appointment. Smile by Choice is very high quality dentistry in New York, NY. They have vaulted ceilings that let in natural light, the latest and greatest in technology, and an awesome staff that is very nice and easy to talk to. Going to the dentist can often seem like a chore, but this class makes it easy and even dare I say enjoyable. You’ll always feel like you got the best cleaning here, which is often not the case. And it’s never painful. Scraping tools can often be unpleasant, but they use an ultrasonic cleaning method that is very calming. They even give you a warm towel when you’re done with your cleaning, which seemed very first class to me!

Dr. Sandhu and her staff are the best. My whole family has had work done in his office. Dr. Sandhu has a state-of-the-art office. I love not having to bite down on multiple pieces in my mouth to take X-rays. They also don’t try to upsell you. They are honest about the kind of work you actually need. I cannot recommend Dr. Sandhu of Queens Dental Office enough.

I’ve been a patient here for a long time, but I just had my first filling ever done. I almost made it 25 years without one. Getting a filling was easier than getting a tattoo, which is something I couldn’t believe. The dentist and the dental assistants were gentle. My comfort was their top priority. My daughter and I started going to Dr. Minkowitz in Maspeth a couple months ago. A couple friends recommended them, so I thought we’d give them a shot. We’ve been very satisfied so far. The front office staff is nice and helpful when it comes to scheduling around our busy schedules, billing insurance, and figuring out the headache that is payments. The hygienists always do a great job and give me great tips about my dental health. Dr. Minkowitz is very nice. I’ve gotten a couple crowns and other dental work done by him. It’s really been great. He even offered to give me a new mouth guard without charging me because he thought I might like a thinner one. My 10 year old daughter also loves this place. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

My old dentist in Oakland Gardens retired and it has been a while since I saw anyone else. Dr. Bieber is my new dentist, but it’s still the same kind of staff and hygienists. Dr. Bieber is very nice and is a great fit for this dentistry. Everyone seems to like him. I actually look forward to going to this dentist. A filling that was less than 6 months old broke one day and I was able to schedule an appointment with them almost immediately. The hygienists are very nice and easy to talk to. The hygienist seems to truly care about my health, she has given me a lot of advice on how to make sure my teeth stay healthy and how to avoid plaque and tartar build up in troublesome areas. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Azbel to work on my teeth for almost a year. I should have written this review sooner. I decided to switch dentists because I wasn’t satisfied with my previous one. That’s when I switched to Lucky Dental. The receptionist was very welcoming and made me feel like a valued patient. Unluckily for me, I had a lot of cavities, so I had to come back for additional visits, which means I’ve gotten to know Dr. Azbel and his staff quite well. Pros - The staff is incredible. They are all very nice and love their jobs. You never have to wait more than 10 minutes in the waiting room. I’m usually called back right away. I don’t even need to sit down. They let you watch a movie while you get work done, which makes things go by faster. They are very efficient as is, but I love that you can watch a movie. It almost makes you forget you’re having dental work done. The parking is okay too. I highly recommend Dr. Azbel of Lucky Dental.

I love going to see Dr. Babayev of BH Franklin Dental. She is efficient and knows exactly what to do to solve any dental problem what you may have. I had a tooth extracted and experienced some pain. When I called the office, Dr. Babayev insisted I come in right away. I appreciated that she took my concerns seriously. She is personable, which really puts me at ease.

I am just thrilled with my service from Dr. Rafya Sandhu at Westbury Smile Center. She is so welcoming, patient, very experienced, and a complete professional. They are transparent and explain every step along the way. During my first appointment, we did the usual x-rays, exam, and consultation. They told me of the problem areas and how to address them. They didn’t attempt to push me into paying for unnecessary products or procedures. Dr. Sandhu’s chairside manner is just remarkable, and her dedication to her work and her passion guarantees that she will do everything to the best of her ability. They have performed fillings and crowns for me, and they seem very detail oriented and use the latest equipment. And for Dr. Sandhu’s staff, they are a direct reflection of her. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. All in all, if you have a busy family life and are looking for a quality family dentist, look no further.

I hate the dentist, but Dr. Hassid made me feel very comfortable. I walked in one day, extremely nervous and on the verge of walking out. But the friendly office staff convinced me to stay, and I’m glad I did. The staff and technicians were kind and professional. They made me feel totally comfortable. I love the beautiful office and awesome staff. The hygienists are gentle when cleaning. Dr. Kaminsky and his staff pay attention to detail, which some dental practices seem to forget. For example, they remind you about your appointments in advance and don’t make you spend an eternity in the waiting room. While they do offer cosmetic services (whitening, straightening, even an oral cancer screening,) they don’t bother you if you decline.

Dr. Rosen in Cedarhurst, NY is such an incredible dentist. And all of my experiences with his hygienists have been spectacular, they clean your teeth better than I have ever experienced. They are very thorough, and so friendly that you are saddened when it's over. The staff as a whole are so genuine, and they know you by name. If you give this dentist office a chance, you will not be disappointed. There aren't enough stars to give this dental clinic.

Back in September I was in between jobs and could not afford dental insurance in Levittown. Dr. Mekawy and their staff gave me information on a dental plan for people who can’t normally afford dental care. That’s just how awesome they are. I went in thinking I had two cavities that needed to be filled. I was in a little bit of pain because of them. I explained what had been going on and gave her a document that my primary dentist in Levittown had given me, which said what dental work I needed. Because of this payment plan, I am now able to afford the dental work that needs to be done that otherwise I could not afford it.

I don’t handle anesthetics well and I’ve had some bad experiences with dentists in the past. I’ve had root canals, cavities, and crowns. He was knowledgeable, gentle, and friendly. He gave me some great tips to improve my dental health, and he is much more up to date with his knowledge about technology and procedures than my former dentist. The office staff is kind and they helped me figure out all the Doctors Network stuff so that I didn’t have any surprise. I would recommend Dr. Grinberg to anyone!

Dr. Amir is heaven sent! I called around and got ridiculous prices on consultation fees, then I found Dr. Amir! During my first appointment, Dr. Amir explained each procedure I could get done for my chipped teeth. I felt it was explained honestly and thoroughly about bonding, veneers, and porcelain crowns. And the cost was much less than I’d been quoted at other places. I cannot explain how grateful I am to have met this dentist! For sure the best in the Brooklyn area!
