Everyone at this clinic has been so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make me comfortable during my visits, from cleanings to complex procedures. The gift bags they give after cleanings I tend to keep at my office, it makes for a great emergency stash. I have never been pushed into unnecessary work, and they always use top notch technology. They are very meticulous and gentle. The staff actually keeps up with me and asks about my family. Wow!! This place is wonderful The staff is personable and kind. I’ve put off going to the dentist for a long time, but I finally came when I was having pain in one of my back teeth. I needed a root canal with a crown. Dr. Kalyanaraman at G.K. Raman DDS, Brooklyn, NY explained how everything would go and why it was important to get it done. Everything turned out great, and I am no longer having any pain because of that tooth. I have to go back in about a week or two to finish up the treatment, and I’ll continue going to Dr. Kalyanaraman’s office for my cleanings and other dental work. Thank you so much, Dr. Kalyanaraman! I’m very happy with the dental service I got today. They provide quality work, and everyone there is very kind. My husband has a different dentist in the East side Lower Manhattan, but I might convince him and take him in. That’s how good they are. Dr. Armstrong and the assistant were both very kind. I had a dental emergency and when I got there I only had to wait 5 minutes. I was surprised I was able to get into the chair that fast when I hadn’t made an appointment in advance. This dentist office in the Upper West Side, Manhattan was right down the street from my office, and so I started going here about 3 months ago. And it’s never painful. Scraping tools can often be unpleasant, but they use an ultrasonic cleaning method that is very calming. They even give you a warm towel when you’re done with your cleaning, which seemed very first class to me!

Dr. Sebold and the staff are wonderful, from chair-side manners, to the quality of their work. For my initial assessment, I had previously used up my x-ray allotment for the year and was worried that I wouldn't be able to be seen, so I had my previous dentist send over the records. Dr. Sebold said it would be better for her to have a new set, so they ran them for free! I have troublesome teeth and no one on the staff made me feel guilty or ashamed for all the work I needed to get done. The hygienist even shared in my troubles because she has weak enamel herself and gave me tips for getting the most out of my prescription toothpaste. I really felt like Dr. Sebold and the entire Brooklyn office were very upfront and trustworthy about what needed to be done AND importantly how much it would cost. For my next appointment, I went in for… a number of cavities… one of which turned out to need a root canal and Dr. Sebold worked through her lunch to complete it so that I would not have to come back later and be in pain in the meantime – incredible. While a root canal is never fun, she made mine as painless as possible by constantly reassessing my discomfort and adding Novocain as needed - I barely felt a thing! I highly appreciate that kind of genuine care - I have suffered through tooth pain before and am very grateful she went the extra mile to spare me that. Short summary: Candy Sebold DDS is a friendly, accommodating practice that does quality, comfortable work and really cares about their patients - I could not recommend them highly enough.

When I told my friend that my dentist in Brooklyn was about to retire she recommended Dr. Grinberg. As someone who hates the dentist, I was a bit nervous. I don’t handle anesthetics well and I’ve had some bad experiences with dentists in the past. I’ve had root canals, cavities, and crowns. He was knowledgeable, gentle, and friendly. He gave me some great tips to improve my dental health, and he is much more up to date with his knowledge about technology and procedures than my former dentist.
