This is especially true if you tell them up front that you don't have insurance. The X-ray, teeth cleaning, and crown sizing experience was very prompt and painless. The crown setting process was also very efficient and painless. I found the staff to be incredibly personable and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about Smile by Choice. They do great work and are great people. This dentist office in the Upper West Side, Manhattan was right down the street from my office, and so I started going here about 3 months ago. I now work downtown Manhattan, but I still come here for the great dental service. I love going to my cleanings twice a year. I’ve never missed a dental appointment. Smile by Choice is very high quality dentistry in New York, NY. They have vaulted ceilings that let in natural light, the latest and greatest in technology, and an awesome staff that is very nice and easy to talk to. Going to the dentist can often seem like a chore, but this class makes it easy and even dare I say enjoyable. You’ll always feel like you got the best cleaning here, which is often not the case. And it’s never painful. Scraping tools can often be unpleasant, but they use an ultrasonic cleaning method that is very calming. They even give you a warm towel when you’re done with your cleaning, which seemed very first class to me!

I'll say it...THE BEST DENTAL OFFICE IN NYC!!! They have given me so many reasons to remain true. Here recently my husband had an emergency...was in severe pain. I went to Armstrong Dental Studio first thing in the morning and they took care of everything, even though he didn't have an appointment until the night before. They are so courteous and caring. We always have an amazing visit and always looking forward to the next time. Dr. Armstrong always seems so happy to see us and takes time to ask about how things are going. The front desk team is always very friendly and I have no clue how they remember all of our names. It just shows their dedication to customer service. I soooo adore this place!!! Dr. Shay of Shay Dental was expertly able to match the color and structure of my new tooth, while allowing plenty of floss clearance. It feels and fits great. There was almost no discomfort through the procedure, and though it felt a bit tight at first, it’s settled in and I don’t even notice it now. His professional work allowed me to be presentable in time for an important family event here in New York. His staff members were helpful and friendly too. Thanks for the job well done.

My daughter and I started going to Dr. Minkowitz in Maspeth a couple months ago. A couple friends recommended them, so I thought we’d give them a shot. We’ve been very satisfied so far. The front office staff is nice and helpful when it comes to scheduling around our busy schedules, billing insurance, and figuring out the headache that is payments. The hygienists always do a great job and give me great tips about my dental health. Dr. Minkowitz is very nice. I’ve gotten a couple crowns and other dental work done by him. It’s really been great. He even offered to give me a new mouth guard without charging me because he thought I might like a thinner one. My 10 year old daughter also loves this place. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

This place is awesome. Dr. Shcheglov and his staff are wonderful. It is a very relaxing atmosphere, and they are all friendly and easy to talk to. I’ve had a lot of work done this year and they’re always willing to talk me through everything step-by-step from care, treatment, and financial. They have the option of care credit, which is great. I’ve done Invisalign with them, and am happy with how my teeth look.

Going to the dentist is a pretty darn terrifying no matter who you are, but Dr. Ames is as good as it gets. I've gone for regular cleanings, fillings, as well as wisdom teeth extractions, and each time they make sure to explain everything in detail, constantly checks in on how you're feeling. QUEENS CENTRAL DENTAL is good with people of all ages and backgrounds, so it really feels like they care about each of their patients and the Jackson Heights community. Of course, the staff is also all very professional! Highly, highly recommended. :)

I have been going to Lucky Dental in Rego Park, NY for quite a while now. I have been to a few different offices in the area, but none of them have been able to compare to Dr. Azbel. The last dentist I went to was pretty rude, so my opinion of Elite Dental might be biased a little bit. Having said that, I highly respect Dr. Isakharov and staff. I had some sores near the corners of my mouth that have bothered me off and on for the last couple of years. I had always treated them as cold sores, but Dr. Isakharov said no and gave me an over-the-counter treatment option that has cleared it right up. The cleaning technique was so gentle - no cranking my jaw open or twisting my neck around. The previous dentist hadn’t been nearly as considerate. Quite pleased with the service I received.

I really needed a new dentist when I found this place, I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. The office is spotless and organized. It is small, but I don’t mind that. They treat you like an individual here, and they aren’t worried about treating as many patients as possible. They treat you like a human being. The front office staff is helpful and nice. They will call you to remind you about your upcoming appointment and will even do a follow-up call a couple days after your appointment. Dr. Normatov is awesome. I came in for a deep cleaning and a checkup and she was very professional and easy to talk to, which made me feel comfortable and satisfied with the service I received. She did the cleaning herself, which is something I wasn’t expecting. We even got to talk about food. Again, she’s easy to talk to and really knows her stuff. I’m actually excited to go back and see her.

This place is awesome, I always feel comfortable when I’m here. The entire staff and Dr. Aknouk are great. You can really tell they love their jobs. I’ve had Dr. Aknouk put in my gold inlay replaced my old silver fillings with porcelain computer-made filling. They’re both very friendly. I had an emergency a couple months ago when my daughter had her front tooth knocked out and Dr. Aknouk came in on his day off to do a root canal on her. This clinic is wonderful, I would highly recommend it and won’t be going anywhere else.

This is a great dentist in Oakland Gardens NY. They really care about their patients, you and your dental health are their number one priority. They are easy to talk to and want to get to know you and your dental health. This helps him understand what treatments you’ll need and how to prevent future issues. His staff is full of true professionals, and they’re all kind and knowledgeable. I recently had shoulder surgery and then went into the dentist a couple weeks later. I was so sensitive that even getting slightly bumped in the shoulder would cause severe pain. They really listened to my concern, and never bumped me, even though they were working on me for an hour. My comfort was their top priority, and my teeth look great thanks to them. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new dentist.

My family has been seeing Dr. Afridi, and we think he’s nothing short of attentive, competent, intelligent, careful and highly trained. Dr. Afridi did many implants for my elderly mother. He was very careful not to hurt her and really took his time. The end result was great - to this day, she can still eat solid foods! A few years after the implants, however, she developed gum disease and an infection (probably a lack of oral hygiene), and her last dentist never said anything about it. Dr. Afridi was able to save her teeth and implants. He saw her right away and followed up to make sure everything was going alright. We don’t want anything like that to happen to her again, so now he’s in charge of her dental care from now on. As for myself, I had a calcified front tooth due to a bad root canal from a specialist. I really don’t blame him though because I knew it was a potential complication. My general dentist referred me to Dr. Afridi for follow-up treatment and an implant. I was scared and wanted to be knocked out during it, but he promised it wouldn’t hurt. And he was right. Even though I needed bone generation and gum generation for my implant, they were able to give me a temporary tooth on that same day. The entire procedure was pain free, and the end result was beautiful! Everlasting Smiles Dental is conveniently located in Glen Oaks, NY. It’s spotless and efficient with a warm, amazing staff. My coworker actually did a similar procedure to mine at another place because it was cheaper, and he went through a ton of pain and couldn’t go to work because of it. Therefore, he really didn’t save any money. The only place I’d ever go for extensive dental work like that would be to this office. I strongly recommend Dr. Afridi.

Dr. Rosen in Cedarhurst, NY is such an incredible dentist. And all of my experiences with his hygienists have been spectacular, they clean your teeth better than I have ever experienced. They are very thorough, and so friendly that you are saddened when it's over. The staff as a whole are so genuine, and they know you by name. If you give this dentist office a chance, you will not be disappointed. There aren't enough stars to give this dental clinic.

I’d heard an advertisement on the radio and decided to give Dr. Hassid a shot. The ad said to come in no matter how scared of the dentist you were, and I have an extreme phobia. I needed my teeth cleaned and even some teeth extracted. Dr. Hassid did a double root canal, a couple bridges, and some implants. The receptionist staff was kind and everyone here was very helpful, from the office staff, to the dentist, to the dental assistants. They were all very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like family coming here, and anyone in the area should check them out.

Afterwards, he called me to follow up and remind me of my aftercare. A few days later, he called me again to ask how I was doing. I was truly amazed! He treated me more like a friend, not just another patient! The front office staff was very considerate and warm. I have a hectic work schedule, so I always need to schedule my cleanings at the last minute or switch my appointment time, which they’ve had no problem with at all. If you need to switch to a new dentist, make sure it’s to this practice!

I met Dr. Mangiaracina after being referred to a friend after another dentist told me I needed a bunch of procedures done. Dr. Mangiaracina confirmed I needed a filling but told me the rest of the procedures were excessive. She was very understanding. My dental plan even knew that this was a great dental office. I’ve been going to K Dental Smiles for a couple of years, and switching to them was the best thing I’ve ever done! I first came here because their Freehold, NJ location was super convenient, but then I ended up falling in love with everyone here! My hygienist is incredible, brilliant, kind, and so fun to be with. Dr. Khetani is brilliant and really takes her time. She explains everything she sees in your mouth and is truly the best dentist near me. The front office staff is just as fantastic. They call me by name every time I walk in, and they never make me wait too long to be taken back. Booking an appointment is so easy and convenient, and they really know how to take care of me. You couldn’t pay me to go to anyone else!

I hadn’t seen a dentist in Hamilton in over 8 years and was absolutely dreading going. But I was really surprised by my time here. I got to watch my favorite HGTV show the whole time and everyone made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Thind helped me thoroughly understand how she was going to approach all the work I needed to get done and helped me understand the fees under the plan.
