This is especially true if you tell them up front that you don't have insurance. The X-ray, teeth cleaning, and crown sizing experience was very prompt and painless. The crown setting process was also very efficient and painless. I found the staff to be incredibly personable and helpful. I will be recommending Dr. Lerner to all my friends who have also been putting off going to the dentist.

I have been a patient at this practice for a while now, way before Dr. Choi took over the practice. I can honestly say I’m very satisfied with the work she does. She’s very personal, she always remembers what’s going on in her patients’ lives. She recommended Invisalign for me, and she was a great help with that, along with all the regular cleanings and fillings she’s done for me. The clinic’s staff and Dr. Choi are very knowledgeable and friendly. They’re always on time and keep billing matters simple. When I had a toothache 2 years they were able to see me right away. Dr. Shay is the best dentist ever! I've been to several different dentists around New York in the past (hate going usually) and have always been satisfied with the service and professional opinions of the staff and doctors here. Yesterday I brought my son to Armstrong Dental Studio for routine cleaning. I could not be more satisfied with our appointment. Setting the appointment itself was so easy. The whole team was so courteous and friendly at the reception. The facility is not only clean but gorgeous. We didn't wait more than 5mins to be seen (which with a stressed child was a relief). Once in the room the hygienist was very courteous and helped put my son at ease. He was so excited about the tech they had. The hygienist took time explaining what different tools she was using and showed my son how they worked. The dentist, Dr. Armstrong, was nice and also made my son feel relaxed. If you have made it this far in my review the finest part was at dinner my son was telling his two older brothers about his appointment... and by the end of his story, they all were excited to go to the dentist too!!! A MAJOR MOM WIN FOR SURE! So happy to have found the BEST dentist in New York!

This place is awesome. Dr. Shcheglov and his staff are wonderful. It is a very relaxing atmosphere, and they are all friendly and easy to talk to. I’ve had a lot of work done this year and they’re always willing to talk me through everything step-by-step from care, treatment, and financial. They have the option of care credit, which is great. I’ve done Invisalign with them, and am happy with how my teeth look.

I didn't know what to expect going to the dentist in the US, I just moved here from Russia and to my surprise it was great. I made an appointment for the earliest time available. Came in with little to almost no wait time and was able to explain my situation/tooth concerns without feeling uncomfortable. I never once felt judged or pressured into making any decision. Queens Dental Care in Jackson Heights provides the best dental care possible. They have quelled my longtime fear of going to the dentist. After having quit smoking a couple years ago, I decided to treat myself. The staff made custom bleaching trays. My teeth look great. They do a super job on cleanings too. I’m grateful Dr. Sandhu is my regular dentist. I’m so pleased with the level of service that I referred my elderly uncle. They have treated him with such kindness. He needed treatment for an infected rear tooth. The receptionist was able to schedule us immediately. Dr. Sandhu was very kind, informing him about every step of the process. From the time we called to the time we left, it only took two hours. You can’t ask for anything better than that. Thank you Dr. Sandhu for such great service.

The wait time is never long here, and they use the newest and greatest dental technology. My daughter and I started going to Dr. Minkowitz in Maspeth a couple months ago. A couple friends recommended them, so I thought we’d give them a shot. We’ve been very satisfied so far. The front office staff is nice and helpful when it comes to scheduling around our busy schedules, billing insurance, and figuring out the headache that is payments. The hygienists always do a great job and give me great tips about my dental health. Dr. Minkowitz is very nice. I’ve gotten a couple crowns and other dental work done by him. It’s really been great. He even offered to give me a new mouth guard without charging me because he thought I might like a thinner one. My 10 year old daughter also loves this place. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

I am very impressed with the dental skills and manner of Dr. Ames. Dr. Ames has done very good work on my teeth for the past couple of months. QUEENS CENTRAL DENTAL uses the latest technology and equipment. I have recommended them to my adult children and other family members who live in the Jackson Heights area. I have been really impressed with Dr. Kalyanaraman at G.K. Raman DDS, and I just can’t believe the couple of reviews that are negative. This is an incredibly busy dental office that’s always packed with patients. Dr. Kalyanaraman and his staff work so hard to accommodate everyone’s needs--I guess you just can’t please everyone. Dr. Kalyanaraman is very skilled, and his staff is very pleasant. The prices are affordable, too. I’ve introduced my friends’ kids to this place, and they absolutely love Dr. Kalyanaraman. He’s seen hundreds of patients, and his skills are outstanding.

Dr. Cosentino is awesome. I left his office feeling happy, and I usually hate the dentist and am never a good patient, especially when I have a toothache. But my time at Dr. Cosentino was the best experience I’ve ever had. Much better than my old dentist in Corona, NY. Everyone here was kind, nice, and very honest with what I needed. I’m no longer afraid of the dentist. This place is affordable too, which is great. They gave me a follow up call and answered all my questions, I can’t thank them enough.

I’d been struggling with a very painful infected tooth for multiple days. A good friend of mine recommended Dr. Cukier. I called the office earlier that morning and was able to be seen in less than an hour. The staff was polite, kind, and professional. They did an X-ray and consulted with me, showing me my X-rays and how the infection had spread. Dr. Cukier prescribed an antibiotic and painkiller. He sent me home to rest, and I went back a week later to have the tooth worked on. Dr. Cukier had a wonderful attitude. He was so friendly and professional. A co-worker recommended Dr. Thomopoulos when I moved to Rego Park in 2017, and I love it there. They truly care about their patients and make sure your comfortable when you’re getting your dental work done. A filling that was less than 6 months old broke one day and I was able to schedule an appointment with them almost immediately. The hygienists are very nice and easy to talk to. The hygienist seems to truly care about my health, she has given me a lot of advice on how to make sure my teeth stay healthy and how to avoid plaque and tartar build up in troublesome areas. Anyone in Rego Park should come to Dr. Thomopoulos!

I really needed a new dentist when I found this place, I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. The office is spotless and organized. It is small, but I don’t mind that. They treat you like an individual here, and they aren’t worried about treating as many patients as possible. They treat you like a human being. The front office staff is helpful and nice. They will call you to remind you about your upcoming appointment and will even do a follow-up call a couple days after your appointment. Dr. Normatov is awesome. I came in for a deep cleaning and a checkup and she was very professional and easy to talk to, which made me feel comfortable and satisfied with the service I received. She did the cleaning herself, which is something I wasn’t expecting. We even got to talk about food. Again, she’s easy to talk to and really knows her stuff. I’m actually excited to go back and see her.

This place is awesome, I always feel comfortable when I’m here. The entire staff and Dr. Aknouk are great. You can really tell they love their jobs. I’ve had Dr. Aknouk put in my gold inlay replaced my old silver fillings with porcelain computer-made filling. They’re both very friendly. I had an emergency a couple months ago when my daughter had her front tooth knocked out and Dr. Aknouk came in on his day off to do a root canal on her. This clinic is wonderful, I would highly recommend it and won’t be going anywhere else.

I appreciate that everything is explained to me so that I understand what's going on can understand the best way to move forward for treatment. Bonus points that it seems everyone employed at Dr. Borgella’s (from what I've seen so far) is highly trained. I recently saw Dr. Borgella and he was the best dentist I’ve seen in Bronx - thorough, friendly, and caring.

When I told my friend that my dentist in Brooklyn was about to retire she recommended Dr. Grinberg. As someone who hates the dentist, I was a bit nervous. I don’t handle anesthetics well and I’ve had some bad experiences with dentists in the past. I’ve had root canals, cavities, and crowns. He was knowledgeable, gentle, and friendly. He gave me some great tips to improve my dental health, and he is much more up to date with his knowledge about technology and procedures than my former dentist. The office staff is kind and they helped me figure out all the Doctors Network stuff so that I didn’t have any surprise. I would recommend Dr. Grinberg to anyone!

C K Galdieri is the best Elmwood Park dentist ever! I've been going to Dr. Galdieri for years and they are so caring, friendly and gentle. They make you feel like family, which helps remove any anxiety. In an emergency they took great care of me until I was able to get to the oral surgeon. The front desk receptionist best-of-the-best and made sure I was alright. I recommend C K Galdieri to everyone. I always have a great visit. These folks need 10 stars!

I hate going to the dentist. There is always a lecture by some persnickety hygienist and front staff is usually grumpy; not the Candy Sebold DDS team – they made my day. The hygienist was so incredibly thorough and sweet. Dr. Sebold made some suggestions outside of regular treatment, but it didn’t feel like an upsell, only alternative suggestions. They went through everything with me and he gave me a pamphlet that explained everything. I decided to make an appointment because of how kind they all were when I just walked in. His top priority was making sure I was comfortable and that I was in zero pain. It went by really quickly and the implants look wonderful. I feel very confident in my smile now. As soon as I walked into Everlasting Smiles Dental, I thought it looked more like a spa than a dentist office. Dr. Afridi explained everything he saw my my mouth and actually listened to me. He even told me what the numbers meant when he was examining my teeth. The whole team was competent and kind. They didn’t just go ahead and do my X-rays without first checking with my insurance to see if they were covered, which is so rare! This office in Glen Oaks is wonderful, and I’m so happy I found them. I regret not going to them sooner.

I’d heard an advertisement on the radio and decided to give Dr. Hassid a shot. The ad said to come in no matter how scared of the dentist you were, and I have an extreme phobia. I needed my teeth cleaned and even some teeth extracted. Dr. Hassid did a double root canal, a couple bridges, and some implants. The receptionist staff was kind and everyone here was very helpful, from the office staff, to the dentist, to the dental assistants. They were all very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like family coming here, and anyone in the area should check them out.

When we lived in Merrick, NY, my family went to Dr. Mangiaracina. I went to her first. She was always so personable. She even remembered my daughter’s name. The whole staff knew how to make you feel comfortable. The hygienists were friendly. I honestly don’t like going to the dentist, but I liked going to Dr. Mangiaracina. That’s a compliment. Since moving out-of-state, I have looked for a dentist I liked as much as Dr. Mangiaracina, and I haven’t found one yet. I wish Dr. Mangiaracina could just move here. If you need a new dentist, make an appointment with Dr. Concetta Mangiaracina. You won’t regret it. I highly recommend her.

Back in September I was in between jobs and could not afford dental insurance in Levittown. Dr. Mekawy and their staff gave me information on a dental plan for people who can’t normally afford dental care. That’s just how awesome they are. I went in thinking I had two cavities that needed to be filled. I was in a little bit of pain because of them. I explained what had been going on and gave her a document that my primary dentist in Levittown had given me, which said what dental work I needed. Because of this payment plan, I am now able to afford the dental work that needs to be done that otherwise I could not afford it.

I love the beautiful office and awesome staff. The hygienists are gentle when cleaning. Dr. Kaminsky and his staff pay attention to detail, which some dental practices seem to forget. For example, they remind you about your appointments in advance and don’t make you spend an eternity in the waiting room. While they do offer cosmetic services (whitening, straightening, even an oral cancer screening,) they don’t bother you if you decline.

The staff at Albert A. Khalil DDS (South River, NJ) was so welcoming when we went for our teeth whitening. My teeth look amazing, but they were a tad sensitive the day after. Fortunately, it did ease up the next day. Thanks, Dr. Khalil for having an amazing practice with decent parking!

I’ve only been here for a checkup but I’m already very impressed with Big Apple Dental. I was running late, so they only had time for the checkup and told me to come back for the cleaning, but I still can’t believe how caring they were, they really took time to listen to my questions and concerns. The dentist in Wyandanch was very thorough when he went through my x-rays, he explained everything that was going on with my mouth. The hygienist was great too, he went through everything with me, and especially explained the effects of my teeth grinding to me. I never knew I grind my teeth at night, but it helped me realize the cause of a lot of the issues I was having with my teeth. The staff could tell I was anxious so they tried to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Everyone there was very detail oriented and caring. I love this place, and I am actually looking forward to going back, which is weird to say about the dentist.

After being fed up with my old dental practice, I came across K Dental Smiles in Freehold, NJ. I’ve had a lot of bad dental experiences in the past. Many dentists broke my trust and made me cry. I was expecting the same experience here, but I was pleasantly surprised. From my first appointment until my most recent one, it’s been a great experience! I kept waiting for them to mess up or say something to trigger me, but they never did! Now, I actually get excited to see Dr. Khetani. They take care of you every step of the way and make sure you feel at ease. If you are nervous, they’ll do everything to turn that around. Thank you Dr. Khetani and staff! As long as I live in Freehold, I’ll keep going here, and if I have to move, I will somehow find a way back to this dentist office!

Dr. Goyal and her staff are great! I’ve been looking for a new dentist for a while now, and I”m so glad I found Hamilton Smiles. The last place a friend referred to me did not do a great job, I left that place still in pain. They also always claimed there was nothing wrong with my teeth. I finally called Hamilton Smiles to give them a try and as soon as they heard about my pain they scheduled me in for an emergency appointment the same day. The front desk staff was very kind and friendly when I walked in. Dr. Goyal was able to immediately recognize that the pain was caused by nerve bruising and a fissure in my filling. She started working on it right way. Thanks to her I can finally chew without any pain, and my teeth feel awesome! I’ve already recommended her to all my friends, best dentist in Hamilton, NJ!
