Periodontal disease is very widespread. In fact, studies from the CDC reveal about 50% of adults over thirty suffer from the disease. Without treatment, gum disease could reach an advanced stage. Also known as periodontitis, this is actually one of the most common causes of adult tooth loss. All that to say, when you develop changes in your gums, you need to see a professional right away. Sore, red gums that bleed easily, along with receding tissues, are common indicators that you need to see a Las Vegas family dentist.

Doctor Network’s search tool can help connect you with walk-in dentists in Las Vegas NV that accept new patients and can offer a diagnosis after a dental examination. If there is a presence of periodontal concerns, then a treatment can be planned. For mild to moderate periodontitis, a scaling and root planing followed by traditional cleanings every three or four months could prevent symptoms. For the later stages of the disease, there are options like laser dentistry, gum grafts, and more to restore your gums!

According to studies by the CDC, over half of the population ages 30 and older suffer from poor periodontal health. Without intervention, this condition could lead to painful symptoms, including bleeding gums. The advanced stage, known as periodontitis, could also cause adult tooth loss. This is why care from a Las Vegas periodontist is necessary when you begin to notice changes to your gums. We can help by connecting you to one that accepts new patients. After all, we all benefit from routine dental care!

How does the gum disease start? The early stages of periodontitis could occur due to improper brushing and flossing. Others could develop it due to lack of dental cleaning visits, or due to gingivitis, tobacco use, certain medications, or even a family history of the disease. As we touched on above, warning signs include sore, red, and bleeding gums. By seeing a dentist in Las Vegas, NV you can receive periodontal treatments like pocket reduction surgery to bring relief and improve your oral health. These treatment options could be covered or partially covered with insurance plans.

If you experience these warning signs, or if you simply have not been to a dentist in the last six months, you should book an online appointment. At Doctors Network, we can find the right dentists in Las Vegas who accept new patients. A healthy and whole smile is always an option, and we can help connect you to your new dentist!

It is paramount for children to visit a dental professional twice a year for dental visits and cleanings. By teaching your kids great oral health habits, you are ensuring that they have the tools to have healthy smiles for many years. If you are looking for a kids dentist in Las Vegas who takes uninsured patients, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering biannual dental checkups and cleanings, pediatric dentists on Doctors Network also provide your little children with dental sealants. These are small pieces of BPA-free acrylic that dentists paint onto their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a barrier between their permanent teeth and germs. This ultimately prevents the risk of dental caries by up to 80%. It is a simple tool that is very effective at preventing the need for fillings in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another great tool that your kids’ dentists provide. Fluoride is a natural mineral that helps strengthen your children’s enamel layer. While enamel is one of the most protective substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your little one’s teeth become more susceptible to cavities. Fluoride treatment prevents this from happening. Using high-fluoride toothpaste can also help. To learn more, please schedule an appointment with one of our network dental professionals in Las Vegas.

Many individuals would prefer to have a whiter smile. When you stroll down the aisles of any grocery store, you see myriad products that advertise their teeth whitening abilities. If you have tried any of these, you know that they almost always provide disappointing results. However, professional teeth whitening can actually give you a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Las Vegas, NV that accepts parivate patients, we can help you find one that offers professional whitening.

When you visit your Las Vegas dental care provider, they can provide you with either an in-office or at-home treatment. With the in-office option, you will typically be out within about an hour, and you will have noticeably whiter teeth. For this option, your dentist will apply a gel solution to your teeth that they will then activate with a special light, to remove stains.

If you would prefer to get an at-home treatment, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can fill with a safe whitening solution. You will wear these for a couple of hours each day for about two weeks. Once this treatment is done, you will have a whiter smile. If you would like to book an appointment online with a Las Vegas dentist that takes parivate patients, we can help you find the best ones.

If it has been over six months since you last saw a dentist, you probably should schedule an appointment soon. When you go in for bi-annual visits, your dentist can closely examine your teeth to make sure nothing is amiss. This helps prevent decay from occurring, minimizing the chance of needing more costly procedures at a later time. If you need to schedule an appointment with a dentist in Las Vegas, NV that takes patients who are uninsured we can help you find a great match.

When you visit your dentist for a checkup, they will start with a thorough cleaning. This will remove built-up that is difficult to remove at home — even with great brushing and flossing habits. The cleaning will leave your teeth feeling rejuvenated and fresh.

Once your cleaning is completed, your Las Vegas dentist will begin her or his examination. During this portion of your appointment, the dentist will thoroughly look at your teeth to identify any potential issues. In case anything is out of the ordinary, they can provide treatment options. The Las Vegas dental practice we set you up with will offer a myriad of services to address a variety of dental needs. When you visit the dentist consistently they can keep track of the health of your mouth. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a visit with a dentist that accepts patients who are uninsured, we can help you find a great one.

I'm a freelancer, so I can't buy insurance easily, so I always ended up paying a lot for doctors' visits. I signed up for a Doctors Network dental plan, and my dental cleanings cost only $25 now. If you don't have dental insurance I highly recommend it.
