Michigan may be best known as home to Motor City—the common nickname for Detroit, which was the center of America’s automotive boom. However, it is also known for being the only state to touch all four of the Great Lakes, giving the state 3,100 miles of freshwater coastline—more than any other state or province in the world. Michigan is home to over 9.9 million people, and helping them all maintain a healthy quality of life has always been a priority for dental health experts who call the state home. With Doctors Network, dentists can now offer patients the high-quality professional dental care they deserve at drastically reduced prices, making it easier for families in Michigan to take good care of their smiles.

Marked by a bustling arts scene, this city of Michigan hosts a number of architectural masterpieces like the Grand Rapids Art Museum and the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park. Grand Rapids has come a long way from its early image as America’s furniture capital to its current reputation for being the "Beer City USA." It can be hard to resist the temptation of going out to have fun with a drink or two, whether you are enjoying a matinee or performance at Betty Van Andel Opera Center or reveling in a private scavenger hunt. The fact of the matter is that beer is too acidic and can damage your teeth or at least give you hard-to-remove stains. A smile is one of your greatest assets, so protect it with dedicated oral care. And if you need expert dental support, the Grand Rapids dental community is here for you.

What is Invisalign treatment?

Invisalign is a proven method to straighten teeth and improve the smile. The Invisalign system uses a series of somewhat invisible or clear aligners that are relatively undetectable by others. Each aligner is custom-fabricated for your teeth and only your teeth, which means that no two patients have the same ones. As you replace each aligner, changes occur in your mouth to slowly correct how your teeth look — week by week — until they have straightened to the ideal position prescribed by your Invisalign-certified general dentist or orthodontist. Invisalign treatment is a series of nearly Invisible, removable aligners that you change every week or two weeks for the next set of aligners. There are many types of braces and orthodontic appliances that can treat crooked teeth and gums. But Invisalign is a popular and innovative solution that combines the best features of all other orthodontic appliances into one. Invisalign works by moving teeth gradually through a series of clear aligners designed to shift them just a little bit with each aligner. Over time, your teeth will move into their desired position and remain there with proper use of orthodontic retainers — all without anyone ever knowing! The average treatment time for Invisalign is about a year — about nine months less than traditional braces. This means you can reduce your treatment time by at about three-quarters of the time it takes for traditional orthodontic therapy. To summarize, Invisalign is an amazing option for anyone looking to straighten their teeth under the radar. It is quick, simple, and relatively affordable as general dentist can easily offer Invisalign. The best part is that it can be used in combination with other orthodontic treatment options such as traditional braces or other orthodontic appliances such as clear aligners with braces attachments on them. Invisalign also gives your orthodontist or dentist more flexibility for adjustments during the treatment process, and because of its removable nature it provides added convenience compared to traditional braces. They require periodic visits every two to six weeks until all brackets or buttons have been removed off of all teeth surfaces once the treatment completion occurs.

It was so easy to find a doctor and make an appointment. I didn't have to take hours to call different offices and find out who takes my insurance and who doesn't.

I'm a freelancer, so I can't buy insurance easily, so I always ended up paying a lot for doctors' visits. I signed up for a Doctors Network dental plan, and my dental cleanings cost only $25 now. If you don't have dental insurance I highly recommend it.

I fell off my bike and chipped my front tooth. I was able to find and book an appointment online right away. Next time I need an appointment I'll try Doctors Network again.
