Shannon H.

I’m currently 2 weeks post-surgery, and I’m healing up wonderfully. Neighborhood Family Dentistry in Madison Heights, MI offers some of the best customer service I’ve ever had. Everyone is so genuinely sweet. Some people smile just to be nice, but you can tell that they actually love seeing you. Always remember to bring your medical and dental insurance if you have it because they can sometimes work out a great deal for you, but that all depends on what kind of insurance coverage you have, of course. But sometimes your medical insurance will cover some dental work. Also, ask for parking recommendations because it can be a little difficult to navigate. I wish Dr. Kashat-Mansour was my general dentist - she’s the best dentist near me!

dental-implants-or-bridge

As children, we lose our deciduous teeth as our smile develops. However, as adults, losing teeth means poor oral health. The advanced stage of gum disease could be responsible as well. Since losing teeth at this age isn’t natural, this means problems. You could have problems eating. Problems articulating clearly may develop. Finally, you could risk negative changes to your smile alignment, or even your facial structure. You need a professional and friendly in-network dentist in West Village, MI who can provide prosthetic dentistry. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help find a local dentist.

First, we will connect you to an experienced dentist in your location who accepts your insurance. Then, your new dentist can inspect your smile to understand the factors behind your missing teeth. For minor cases, a dental bridge could be the best option, providing lifelike results. For several gaps, partial dentures could offer a solution and address complicated tooth loss. Finally, a complete set of dentures could be crafted and secured. While most complete dentures and partial dentures are removable, they could be stablized with tooth implants. Dental implants are secured like natural teeth, and stimulate bone preservation in your alveolar bone and facial structure following losing a tooth.

If you live in the West Village‘s proximity and need a solution for tooth loss, let us know. We can get you started on receiving the tooth replacement you need. The smile of your dreams is possible, even if you’ve suffered complete tooth loss, and even if years have elapsed since that happened!

P. S. Please celebrate our dentists in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you suffer from chronic snoring, you may not think a dentist near you could help. In fact, dentists can provide a comfortable solution to help you breathe without interruption. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) means that as you sleep, the soft palate and the back of your mouth collapse and cause you to stop breathing. People actually stop breathing briefly until the brain alerts the body to resume breathing. Even if you think you slept well, you could experience daytime drowsiness! But when should you use the search tool on Doctors Network to find West Village, MI dentists who could offer treatment with oral appliance therapy?

Sings of OSA could include chronic snoring. Daytime headaches, drowsiness, and even irritability could be factors too. With no treatment, sleep apnea could affect your immune system and increase the risk of high blood pressure. When you suffer similar signs, consider talking to a dentist. Sometimes, oral appliance therapy can be used to keep airways free of obstruction, so you can finally rest without sleep apnea symptoms.

This week we are celebrating our dental practices in Manhattan.

tooth-bonding

If you have a chipped tooth or one that is misshapen, then you might need dental treatment. With enameloplasty and dental bonding in West Village, MI, these and other cosmetic imperfections can be treated in one visit. At Doctors Network, we aim to help connect you with a dental expert in West Village, MI who takes new patients and provides the comprehensive treatments you need. You may be surprised to discover just how much these two treatments can do in a single visit.

Composite filling repairs cosmetic concerns effectively. The bonding material, a mix of glass-like and acrylic particles, is shaded and applied to the teeth. West Village dentists also use the same material to fill tooth cavities. During tooth contouring, the dentist sands the outer tooth structure to correct the appearances of cosmetic concerns.

Today we are honoring our Brooklyn dental professionals. Using both procedures, these dentists can reshape malformed teeth, tackle dental emergencies, mask stains on teeth, and close embarrassing spaces between the teeth.

In childhood, many of us develop teeth grinding for short periods of time. The issue tends to last only a few months. Nothing feels better than an attractive smile, but as we get older, most of us struggle with missing teeth. Missing teeth could lead to difficulty with eating and speaking, and can even lead to an older appearance. To treat tooth loss, people often turn to implant-supported prosthetics. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as dentures or bridges, these are connected to posts inserted into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like full and partial dentures are locked into these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but several decades with proper care and attention.

Are you ready to tackle your tooth loss with dental implants? If you want to know how much a dental implant costs near you in West Village, you are not alone, but firstly, you should find a West Village dentist who can offer tooth replacement. Doctors Network can help you with this, connecting you to a dentist who not only can address your tooth loss, but also works with patients without dental insurance. You can even register for a Doctors Network dental plan to decrease the cost of your treatment.

The dentist will assess the state of your smile. Underlying issues such as periodontitis may need to be treated before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer new teeth that look and function like natural teeth!

Michigan may be best known as home to Motor City—the common nickname for Detroit, which was the center of America’s automotive boom. However, it is also known for being the only state to touch all four of the Great Lakes, giving the state 3,100 miles of freshwater coastline—more than any other state or province in the world. Michigan is home to over 9.9 million people, and helping them all maintain a healthy quality of life has always been a priority for dental health experts who call the state home. With Doctors Network, dentists can now offer patients the high-quality professional dental care they deserve at drastically reduced prices, making it easier for families in Michigan to take good care of their smiles.

Staying ahead of the curve has always been Michigan’s thing. In today’s world of rising dental health care costs, that means finding ways to keep the quality of care high while minimizing costs for average families. Doctors Network helps local dentists solve that problem by offering direct dental plans to all of their patients. Unlike dental insurance, a direct dental plan gives you access to substantial discounts on every treatment that your dentist offers. This includes everything from preventive checkups and cleanings that only cost $25 per visit to more involved cosmetic, restorative, and prosthetic procedures that are discounted by up to 90%. For the seven percent of patients in Michigan who do not have insurance, a direct dental plan can be the best way to make dental care more affordable for the whole family. For patients who already have insurance, the plan can help ensure that they are not left with exorbitant out-of-pocket expenses, even for elective procedures like porcelain veneers, Invisalign® clear aligners, dental implants, and more.

I'm a freelancer, so I can't buy insurance easily, so I always ended up paying a lot for doctors' visits. I signed up for a Doctors Network dental plan, and my dental cleanings cost only $25 now. If you don't have dental insurance I highly recommend it.
