If Doctors Network let me give this place 5,000 stars I would, this place is just the best. Dr. King is the greatest dentist in Troy Hill, and I’ve been to a lot of dentists in Pittsburgh in the past, some who I’ve really loved. That’s how great Dr. King is. I can’t give him and his team enough praise. Over a period of 3 weeks, I had a cleaning, 8 fillings, and a crown replacement. My teeth were a mess. Dr. King is very professional and knowledgeable, he knows how to work the drill and the Novocain so that you feel absolutely nothing. He walks through everything he’s going to do to your teeth with you so that there are no misunderstandings. His dental assistants were very nice and made me feel comfortable. They even made me laugh. I also can’t say enough wonderful things about the hygienist, she was wonderful. She walked me through the process and made feel at ease. She had a glowing smile that just me feel comfortable. As you can tell, I loved this team and had to thank them for everything they did for me. They’re very caring people. I actually can’t wait to go back, which is really weird for me to say about a dentist.

I moved here a couple months ago and lucked out by finding this gem of a dentist in my neighborhood in Pittsburgh without having to do any research. During my first visit, the staff was very nice and professional. I am like a lot of people in that I hate the dentist, but I felt very relaxed with Dr. Pikur. He explains everything and was very patient while answering all my questions. I no longer hate the dentist thanks to Dr. Pikur. He is soft-spoken, and makes you feel comfortable. Every visit to her office is painless, I’m very lucky to have found such an amazing dentist in Pittsburgh.

Though it sounds crazy, I actually really enjoyed getting my root canal at Clinton Runco & Associates dental office in Pittsburgh, PA. I came in with a tooth that was very sensitive to hot and cold. It hurt so bad that I barely got through the pulp test during the consult. Dr. Runco scheduled me for a root canal treatment not long after, and it was relatively pain-free. Dr. Runco is very relaxed and patient compared to other dentists I’ve seen. I get anxiety during dental visits, but he reassured me that everything would be okay. I trusted them and felt like a part of their family from the start. They’re competent, prepared, always on time, and very knowledgeable. I feel like I can never get ahold of my usual dentist, but this practice always seems to be available. Clinton Runco & Associates has the best dentist in Pittsburgh, PA! If you need some dental work done, check them out.

Dr. Aharon and Pittsburgh Sleep and Smile staff will treat you like a family member rather than just another patient. She explains everything and will make a treatment plan with you. She will never make you feel ashamed about how much work needs to be done on your teeth. I’ve been here a couple times now, but when I first got there she told me “Don’t worry, we’ll take care of everything.” And she did just that. I had my fillings done and they were done perfectly, I had no pain during or after the procedure. She also walked me through everything before she did the procedure and made sure I was as comfortable as possible during it. All of the hygienists here are great.

I’ve been to Pittsburgh Sleep and Smile a few times, once for my initial appointment, once for a cleaning, and another to get two crowns. I love this place. The staff is friendly and caring. The office is beautifully decorated and very organized. Their hours are flexible, I can schedule an appointment for before I go to work. They go above and beyond with their customer service. Dr. Aharon is very caring, respectful, and will listen to any concerns you have. The office staff is easy to talk to and the hygienists who cleaned my teeth are knowledgeable. Dr. Aharon calls you after every major procedure to make sure you’re not in pain, and she leaves her personal cell phone as a callback number. I’ve never heard of any other doctor doing that. For everyone looking to change their dentist in Turtle Creek, PA, you should definitely come here.

I, like many others, hate going to the dentist. But Dr. King, and the hygienists that work here make it a lot easier. Everyone there is great at what they do. I’ve had both doctors, and they’re both great, and I can’t think of anything bad to say about them. I once scheduled a cleaning when I meant to schedule a filling, and they were able to do both in one sitting. I would recommend this place to anyone in Pittsburgh and Aliquippa!

A common reason to seek dental care is to address a toothache. While temporary aches could occur for a number of reasons, including sinus congestion, one that persists for more than a day could mean trouble. For example, a lingering tooth pain could be caused by dental caries, the early stages of a dental abscess, or as a result of weakened tooth structure due to teeth grinding while asleep. When you have an aching tooth, you most likely need a dental restoration. Doctors Network can help you find a dentist in the Pittsburgh, PA community who takes new patients!

When the dental professional examines your teeth, imaging technology is used to assess the severity of the cavity. From there, a dental restoration is chosen. For children and adult patients alike, a tooth-filling made from a composite resin could bring relief. A dental crown could also be used to address advanced decay. If possible, the dentist will take steps to utilize more lifelike options, so they offer a natural appearance. If you have an aching tooth, use our search module to find Pittsburgh dentists and book an appointment online.

Grownups are not the only ones who benefit from regular dental care. Children need routine checkups and cleanings as well, and they need to be monitored by a dentist for issues like tooth decay. This could include dental misalignment, or for teens, the eruption of the third molars. If you need to find a pediatric dentist in Pittsburgh, PA with experience helping little smiles, then Doctors Network is able to help you.

Checkups and cleanings should begin as early as age two, and continue every six months. These visits enable your Pittsburgh pediatric dentist to monitor smiles as they grow, and if areas of concern develop, such as dental cavities, or gingivitis, then treatment can be administered. In addition, children can often receive preventive fluoride treatments to strengthen the outer enamel of their teeth and prevent tooth cavities. Dental sealants, which coat the occlusal surfaces of the posterior teeth, can strengthen vulnerable adult teeth. In fact, sealants can last as long as a decade in some cases.

With routine care children not only can enjoy strong and healthy smiles, but they also understand the importance of regular care. We’ve reached the time of the year when children and adults alike will be playing sports. While we hope everyone has a great time, we know that they could sustain dental damage. Sometimes, especially with full contact sports, teeth could become cracked or chipped, and when trauma occurs, you need dental care. Even minor damages could lead to an increased risk of aching teeth. Doctors Network can help you access a dentist that is open on weekends in Pittsburgh, PA who can assess the situation.

The outside of each tooth is coated in enamel. The enamel protects the sensitive inner structures from bacteria, and from the risk of dental infection. But when a tooth is broken, chipped, or cracked, it could lead to painful symptoms. You need treatment to safeguard your smile. Likewise, you should let us know if you need a Pittsburgh emergency dentist who accepts private patients for less severe emergencies. Unexplained discomfort and objects caught between the teeth could compromise your smile. Don’t forget that loose teeth are causes for concern as well. You also need care if a tooth filling or crown is compromised!

After you contact Doctors Network and begin looking for your Pittsburgh, PA dentist, you can ease your discomfort by taking a store bought pain medication. A piece of gauze can control any bleeding. Applying an ice pack can ease facial swelling too. If a tooth is damaged or knocked loose, recover the tooth or any pieces and bring them with you. They can be placed in a glass of cold milk or salt water.

When a tooth becomes infected, treatment is necessary. Lack of treatment means the tooth could essentially die. At this stage, the tooth may require extraction. Otherwise, the infection moves into other parts of the smile. Often, a better treatment for an infected tooth is a root canal. This procedure is effective, but sometimes a root canalled tooth becomes infected again, and retreatment could be needed. You may need to schedule an appointment with one of our knowledgeable Pittsburgh dentists for a root canal redo.

Root canal treatment involves removing the tissues from inside of the tooth. The interiors and root canals are thoroughly cleaned, and a restorative material known as gutta percha is then administered. Usually, the tooth is then restored with a dental crown. The restoration is often custom-made to protect the tooth and also blend with the smile. But if the procedure is not successful, the prognosis of the condition could be questionable. The tooth could begin developing symptoms, such as toothaches and pain when eating. If you experience this, don’t risk tooth loss. Doctors Network can help you find an emergency dentist in Pittsburgh, PA that can offer another root canal and accepts private patients.

If you don’t have dental insurance don’t let that discourage you! Doctors Network can offer a discount dental plan to make dental care budget-friendly. With a simple monthly rate, you can undergo necessary root canal retreatment without breaking the bank!

A lot happens to our smile when we lose natural teeth. Obviously, there are problems with eating your favorite foods. Even clear speech could be a problem. However, the major problem is the loss of mass and density in the jaw. This weakens the jaw, and could even cause an older appearance. More importantly, this limits dental implant placement. Additional treatments could be necessary to strengthen the jaw in order to make dental implant placement possible! Fortunately, Doctors Network could help you book an online appointment with a good Pittsburgh oral surgeon who is in-network with individual dental insurance plans and performs jawbone grafting. In addition, we could also discuss our membership plan to make dental care affordable!

Ridge preservation is also referred to as ridge augmentation. Essentially this enables the dentist to restore the lost structure in your gums. Your dentist could use various sources. Tissue could be taken from the back of the jaw or the hip. Donor materials such as bovine bone particles may be recommended too. We could also recommend synthetic materials. In a surgical procedure, these are applied to the areas of weakened structure in the mandible bone.

Once the area heals, the dental implants could be placed. The body will allow them to bond with the jaw. As a result, they help prevent any further breakdown in the jaw, preserving your smile. Our team can connect you to a dentist or oral surgeon in Pittsburgh, PA who performs jawbone grafting, and also let you know about our membership plan to make sure your care fits in your budget!
