This is the best dentist office in the Kensington area in Pennsylvania. Everyone there is very professional, everyone shook my hand during introductions. A week after my visit a card that summarized my visit and even mentioned some of the personal stuff I brought up on it came in the mail. They really know their stuff there and are willing to go through everything with you. When I had my 1st root canal done Dr. Jacob was able to show me where the problem with my tooth was on an IPad. After my crown prep appointment, Dr. Jacob called me personally to check up on me and make sure I wasn’t in any pain. As someone in healthcare, I can say that these personal touches really matter because they make the patient feel important like they’re not just another patient. This dentist office in Philadelphia is great. There is another one that is closer to where I live, but I have to go to this one because of how great everyone is there.

I hate going to the dentist because it’s not fun and can be physically and emotionally painful even if you don’t have dental issues. Sadly, I do have some dental problems. Though they aren’t the worst case scenario, I still go to Advanced Dental Designs in Philadelphia, PA more than I’d like to. However, I love that Dr. Patoliya explains things to me so that I don’t need a medical degree to understand them. He even shows me pictures to help explain the problems and doesn’t just use “dentist speak.” He’s truthful when he tells me the pros and cons of any procedure I need, and he doesn’t try to coerce me into getting anything done that I don’t understand. He listens to any issues I have and objectively examines my mouth. He’s the first dentist to ever explain what tooth he needs to fill and why. I hate going to the dentist, but I finally found a doctor I don’t want to stop seeing, which is a huge step for me!

Advanced Dental Designs in Philadelphia is a modern, high tech office. My first cleaning went splendidly, normally I have a terrible gag reflex but not this time! My teeth are so incredibly clean now, I love it! The whole environment here is relaxing and calming, and the staff plays a key part in that as well with their amazing customer service abilities! Dr. Patoliya is very knowledgeable and caring as well as her staff. Love it!

This place is great with kids, they’re very friendly and patient. My 7 year old son screams every time he sees needles, so getting his teeth removed was going to be a big ordeal. Dr. Vasilyev took his time with him, giving out hugs, comforting him, coaxing him, he did everything he could to get him to cooperate, but he was kind about it the whole time. Dr. Vasilyev and his assistant, who was also great, were finally able to extract the 3 teeth from my son’s mouth. My son didn’t have to go under anesthesia thanks to him and I didn’t have to take him to a specialty dental center, which was going to be my last resort just to get 3 baby teeth removed. We’re definitely coming back here.

I have always hated going to the dentist. But, Absolute Smile is the exception. Scheduling is easy and I can normally get in very quickly. Wait time is always short and the whole office is clean and tidy. Everything is always so quick and easy, and the entire time the staff and Dr. Cox are professional and nice. Dr. Cox doesn’t rush you, or himself, and he pays great attention to detail. Having everything explained to me also is a huge help! I will continue to go to Absolute Smile as long as I live in Philadelphia.

One of the most common reasons to search for a dentist is to address discomfort caused by cavities. While temporary aches could occur for a number of reasons, including sinus problems, one that persists for more than a day could be a sign of a deeper problem. For example, a lasting toothache could be caused by tooth decay, the early stages of a dental abscess, or as a result of weakened tooth structure due to teeth grinding while asleep. When you have an aching tooth that does not subside, you most likely need a dentist. Doctors Network can help connect you to a dentist in the Philadelphia, PA community who takes patients without dental insurance!

When the dentist examines your smile, imaging technology is used to assess the severity of the cavity. then, the right treatment is chosen. For kids and adult patients alike, a dental filling made from a metal-free material could bring relief. A dental cap or crown could also be used to address advanced decay. When possible, the dentist will take steps to use more lifelike options, so they offer a natural appearance. If you have a toothache, use our search module to connect with Philadelphia walk-in dentists and book an appointment online.

Adults are not the only ones who benefit from routine dental treatment. Adolescents require routine checkups and cleanings as well, and they need to be monitored by a dentist for signs of threats to their oral health. This could include dental misalignment, or for teens, the arrival of wisdom teeth. If you need to request an online appointment a family dentist in Philadelphia, PA with experience treating smiles of all ages, then Doctors Network is able to help you.

Checkups and cleanings should begin when all baby teeth come in, and should be scheduled twice a year. These visits enable your Philadelphia pediatric dentist to watch the smile over time, and if areas of concern develop, such as tooth decay, or gingivitis, then treatment can be administered. In addition, kids can often receive fluoride treatments to strengthen the outer enamel of their dentition and prevent tooth decay. Sealants, which coat the grooves on top of the back molars, can strengthen vulnerable adult teeth. In fact, this layer of acrylic can provide protection against tooth cavities for as long as ten years in some cases.

If you are searching for family dentists in Philadelphia who can treat your entire family, let us know. We want to help you find affordable dental care. With routine care kids not only enjoy healthy and strong smiles, but they also understand the value of caring for their smiles. Good oral health habits can start them on the path to a lifetime of healthy gums and teeth. All of it starts with that first checkup and cleaning. So, use our search tool to find the right dentist for you and your children!

We have reached the time of the year when adults and children will be enjoying sports and outdoor activities. While we hope everyone has a great time, we know that they could sustain dental trauma. In some situations, especially when it comes to contact sports, teeth could be damaged, and when dental trauma occurs, you need dental care. Even minor damages could lead to an increased risk of tooth decay. Doctors Network can help you find a dental care provider in Philadelphia, PA who can assess the situation.

The outside of each tooth protects the dentition. The enamel protects the sensitive inner structures from bacteria, and from the onset of tooth decay. But when a tooth is chipped, it could alter the appearance of your smile. You need treatment even if the damage appears minor. Likewise, you can always let us know if you need a Philadelphia emergency dentist who accepts patients without dental insurance for more minor complaints. Persistent discomfort and objects caught between the teeth could threaten your smile. Don’t forget that loose teeth could lead to weakened smiles as well. You also need care if a crown or tooth filling falls out!

After you contact Doctors Network and begin looking for your Philadelphia, PA dentist, take steps to avoid complications by taking a store bought pain medication. A piece of gauze can control any bleeding. Applying an ice pack can ease facial swelling too. If a tooth is damaged or knocked loose, recover the tooth or any pieces and bring them with you to the office. They can be placed in a glass of cold milk or salt water.

When a tooth develops an infection, treatment is necessary. Not seeking care means the tooth could become necrotic. At this stage, the tooth may require extraction. Otherwise, the infection moves into other parts of the smile. If posible, a better treatment for an infected tooth is an endodontic treatment. The procedure is effective, but sometimes a root canalled tooth becomes infected again, and treatment is once again necessary. You may need to book an appointment with one of our knowledgeable Philadelphia dentists or endodontists for additional endodontic treatment.

A root canal involves removing the tissues from the tooth’s interior. The interiors and root canals are thoroughly cleaned, and a restorative material, AKA gutta percha, is then added to the tooth. Usually, the tooth is then restored with a tooth crown. The restoration is often custom-made to protect the tooth and also match the rest of the smile. But if the procedure is not successful, the prognosis of the condition could be unpredictable. The tooth could begin developing symptoms, such as toothaches and discomfort when biting down. If you experience this type of discomfort, don’t risk tooth loss. Doctors Network can connect you with an emergency dental services provider in Philadelphia, PA that can offer another root canal and accepts private patients.

If you don’t have dental coverage don’t let that discourage you! Doctors Network can offer a discount dental plan to make dental care budget-friendly. With a simple monthly rate, you can obtain a root canal retreatment at a reasonable cost!

Major problems arise when we lose natural teeth. Obviously, there are problems with eating a variety of meals. Even talking clearly could be a problem. However, the major problem is the loss of structure in the jaw. This weakens the jaw, and could even cause an older appearance. More importantly, this limits dental implant placement. Additional treatments could be necessary to strengthen the jaw in order to make dental implant placement possible! Fortunately, Doctors Network could help you schedule an appointment with a great Philadelphia oral and maxillofacial surgeon who is in-network with discount dental plans and performs this care. In addition, we could also discuss our payment plans to make dental care affordable!

Ridge preservation is also referred to as ridge augmentation. Essentially this enables the dentist to rebuild jawbone structure in your mandible. Your dentist could use a number of different options. Tissue could be taken from the back of the jaw or the hip. Donor materials like bovine bone could also be used. We could also recommend synthetic materials. Through oral surgery, these are applied to the areas of weakened structure in the lower jawbone.

Once the area heals, biocompatible dental implants could be placed. The body will allow them to bond with the jaw. As a result, they help prevent any further breakdown in the jaw, allowing long-lasting tooth replacement. Our team can connect you to a dentist in Philadelphia, PA who offers ridge augmentation, and also let you know about our dental discount plan to make sure your care fits in your budget!
