Doctors Network

Michigan may be best known as home to Motor City—the common nickname for Detroit, which was the center of America’s automotive boom. However, it is also known for being the only state to touch all four of the Great Lakes, giving the state 3,100 miles of freshwater coastline—more than any other state or province in the world. Michigan is home to over 9.9 million people, and helping them all maintain a healthy quality of life has always been a priority for dental health experts who call the state home. With Doctors Network, dentists can now offer patients the high-quality professional dental care they deserve at drastically reduced prices, making it easier for families in Michigan to take good care of their smiles.

Thanks r. Kashat-Mansour! I don’t know the last time I ever thanked a dentist, but Dr. Kashat-Mansour and her staff at Neighborhood Family Dentistry deserve the praise! I chipped my tooth on vacation, but when I returned home, my usual dentist was out of the office. So I went to see someone else in Madison Heights, MI, who referred me to Dr. Kashat-Mansour. Thanks to her great work, she’s earned my loyalty! I was afraid at first because she said I needed both my bottom back molars removed as well as one top molar. Because I knew I needed to be anesthetized, I was utterly terrified and sobbing. But Dr. Kashat-Mansour and her staff really calmed my nerves and made me feel better. They sat me down, told me what to expect and then I was out. I woke up about a half hour later. Last year, I had one tooth removed, and it was so painful and caused so much swelling. It’s my second day post-op from Dr. Kashat-Mansour, and I’m impressed with how great I feel. I have just a little swelling and a little soreness in my jaw and extraction sites. I’m amazed at Dr. Kashat-Mansour’s work. She knows her stuff and knows how to make the procedure as fast and painless as possible, including during post-op recovery! Thank you so much! If I ever need another big dental procedure, I’m going to Neighborhood Family Dentistry in Madison Heights!

What is a dental crown?

g
gum-sealer-282

Dental crowns or caps restore the shape, size, and functionality of teeth after they have been damaged, and they offer protection from future damage. Dental crowns are a ideal options for restoring damaged teeth and are a standard of care offered at a restorative dentist. When a tooth is defective or damaged, we always hope that it can heal on its own. Unfortunately, teeth do not grow or heal or restore damaged enamel. However, your family dentist can restore a tooth with the help of a dental crown. Dental crowns are an aesthetic treatment which can protect a weak tooth from fracture or even infection, restore a damaged tooth structure, cover a dental implant, and stabilize a dental bridge in place, and they provide a natural appearance. Dental crown can recreate the shape and function of a tooth damaged by tooth decay or trauma. A dental crown is a full coverage cap that surrounds the tooth. A crown can also be used to improve the cosmetics of a smile. A crown can consist of different materials. All-metal, ceramic-on-metal, and all-ceramic are a few of these. The location of the crown in the teeth used to determine the best material to use. For example, front teeth needed to have an all-ceramic crown, if possible, since it looks the most natural. Patients may often had used ceramic-on-metal crowns since they appear natural but had the strength that only metal could provide., however, with the rise in popularity of very durable all ceramic crowns, there is little need for crowns that include metal in them. When getting a dental crown or a dental bridge installed, it is recommended that you work with a cosmetic dentist near you that has enough experience in cosmetic crowns.

It was so easy to find a doctor and make an appointment. I didn't have to take hours to call different offices and find out who takes my insurance and who doesn't.

I'm a freelancer, so I can't buy insurance easily, so I always ended up paying a lot for doctors' visits. I signed up for a Doctors Network dental plan, and my dental cleanings cost only $25 now. If you don't have dental insurance I highly recommend it.

I fell off my bike and chipped my front tooth. I was able to find and book an appointment online right away. Next time I need an appointment I'll try Doctors Network again.
