I saw a Dr. Kaufman today, the Saturday before New Year's Eve, without an appointment because I lost a crown last night. Granted, the crown was over 35 years old and had been done by another dentist, but I still needed it fixed. I expected to have a long wait, but the X-ray process was very efficient. Less than 10 minutes later, I was prepped to see Dr. Kaufman, who numbed me for the procedure. An hour later, I had a new temporary in place and a permanent crown had been ordered. I love the high quality technology they have at this practice. Instead of making an impression of my teeth in clay-filled tray of yore, they used 3D digital imaging to map out my teeth and photograph them for color matching. Same result without all the radiation! Dr. Kaufman was so expeditious and accommodating. Thank you so much!

Back in September I was in between jobs and could not afford dental insurance in Levittown. Dr. Mekawy and their staff gave me information on a dental plan for people who can’t normally afford dental care. That’s just how awesome they are. I went in thinking I had two cavities that needed to be filled. I was in a little bit of pain because of them. I explained what had been going on and gave her a document that my primary dentist in Levittown had given me, which said what dental work I needed. Because of this payment plan, I am now able to afford the dental work that needs to be done that otherwise I could not afford it.

I love going to see Dr. Babayev of BH Franklin Dental. She is efficient and knows exactly what to do to solve any dental problem what you may have. I had a tooth extracted and experienced some pain. When I called the office, Dr. Babayev insisted I come in right away. I appreciated that she took my concerns seriously. She is personable, which really puts me at ease.

I’d heard an advertisement on the radio and decided to give Dr. Hassid a shot. The ad said to come in no matter how scared of the dentist you were, and I have an extreme phobia. I needed my teeth cleaned and even some teeth extracted. Dr. Hassid did a double root canal, a couple bridges, and some implants. The receptionist staff was kind and everyone here was very helpful, from the office staff, to the dentist, to the dental assistants. They were all very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like family coming here, and anyone in the area should check them out.

The receptionist/bookkeeper always helps me navigate my insurance and what I owe as well as scheduling appointments. All the great reviews are true. Though I did wait a little bit, I’ve had to wait longer at other places, and I guarantee they only made me wait because patients weren’t coming in on time, which will push back all the other appointments after it. Or maybe Dr. Afridi was tending to an emergency and wanted to make sure his patient was being taken care of. I would happily wait a long time if needed just to get the high level of service and dental care this place has to offer, knowing that once I get in the dental chair, they won’t rush me out to keep on schedule. I’ve been to multiple dental practices. Thanks to bad genetics, I’ve had my fair share of cavities, root canals, and now an infected tooth that needed to be removed. Dr. Kaminsky was wonderful throughout the whole process. I initially came here just to get a second opinion and was so impressed that they didn’t even charge me for the X-rays they took so they could see the infected tooth better. Dr. Kaminsky sat with me for at least half an hour, discussing treatment options and prices. I was able to have the infected tooth and my wisdom teeth removed on the same day. I was unbelievably nervous, but I didn’t experience any pain. I’m grateful I didn’t have to be put under. That lowered the cost. Dr. Kaminsky had the best possible bedside manner, which truly is a rare find in dentistry.

My old dentist in Oakland Gardens retired and it has been a while since I saw anyone else. Dr. Bieber is my new dentist, but it’s still the same kind of staff and hygienists. Dr. Bieber is very nice and is a great fit for this dentistry. Everyone seems to like him. I actually look forward to going to this dentist. He’s very knowledgeable and I look forward to remaining his patient. The office girls and hygienists are very nice.

The equipment high quality and was nice and clean. On my second visit, I came in for a cleaning’ at that time, we discussed options for several ongoing issues I was experiencing. I really needed a new dentist when I found this place, I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. The office is spotless and organized. It is small, but I don’t mind that. They treat you like an individual here, and they aren’t worried about treating as many patients as possible. They treat you like a human being. The front office staff is helpful and nice. They will call you to remind you about your upcoming appointment and will even do a follow-up call a couple days after your appointment. Dr. Normatov is awesome. I came in for a deep cleaning and a checkup and she was very professional and easy to talk to, which made me feel comfortable and satisfied with the service I received. She did the cleaning herself, which is something I wasn’t expecting. We even got to talk about food. Again, she’s easy to talk to and really knows her stuff. I’m actually excited to go back and see her.

If I could give more than 5 stars for this place, I would. This Rego Park dentist office is beautiful. The staff is very kind and professional. You won’t have to worry about your insurance or dental plans here. This place is almost like a spa, they have wax-hand dipped warming gloves and blankets for if their patients get cold. The dental hygienists are very friendly. Dr. Thomopoulos was great, she was thorough during my exam and took some photos so I could see the fillings I had before, but also a new cavity. She was willing to go through all my questions and was very careful with my teeth. I always hated going to the dentist, but now I feel completely at ease with Dr. Thomopoulos, she made me feel like I wasn’t just another patient, but rather a human being. I’ve referred her to everyone I know. I am a big fan of chapstick, and the free chapsticks here are awesome. Just another reason this place is awesome!

Dr. Cosentino is awesome. I left his office feeling happy, and I usually hate the dentist and am never a good patient, especially when I have a toothache. But my time at Dr. Cosentino was the best experience I’ve ever had. Much better than my old dentist in Corona, NY. Everyone here was kind, nice, and very honest with what I needed. I’m no longer afraid of the dentist. This place is affordable too, which is great. They gave me a follow up call and answered all my questions, I can’t thank them enough.

The last dentist I went to was pretty rude, so my opinion of Elite Dental might be biased a little bit. Having said that, I highly respect Dr. Isakharov and staff. I had some sores near the corners of my mouth that have bothered me off and on for the last couple of years. I had always treated them as cold sores, but Dr. Isakharov said no and gave me an over-the-counter treatment option that has cleared it right up. The cleaning technique was so gentle - no cranking my jaw open or twisting my neck around. The previous dentist hadn’t been nearly as considerate. Quite pleased with the service I received.

When I got there, Dr. Cukier was very friendly. I’ve never really taken brushing and flossing seriously, but he helped me understand the importance of it. My daughter and I started going to Dr. Minkowitz in Maspeth a couple months ago. A couple friends recommended them, so I thought we’d give them a shot. We’ve been very satisfied so far. The front office staff is nice and helpful when it comes to scheduling around our busy schedules, billing insurance, and figuring out the headache that is payments. The hygienists always do a great job and give me great tips about my dental health. Dr. Minkowitz is very nice. I’ve gotten a couple crowns and other dental work done by him. It’s really been great. He even offered to give me a new mouth guard without charging me because he thought I might like a thinner one. My 10 year old daughter also loves this place. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

This place is awesome, I always feel comfortable when I’m here. The entire staff and Dr. Aknouk are great. You can really tell they love their jobs. I’ve had Dr. Aknouk put in my gold inlay replaced my old silver fillings with porcelain computer-made filling. They’re both very friendly. I had an emergency a couple months ago when my daughter had her front tooth knocked out and Dr. Aknouk came in on his day off to do a root canal on her. This clinic is wonderful, I would highly recommend it and won’t be going anywhere else.

This place is awesome. Dr. Shcheglov and his staff are wonderful. It is a very relaxing atmosphere, and they are all friendly and easy to talk to. I’ve had a lot of work done this year and they’re always willing to talk me through everything step-by-step from care, treatment, and financial. They have the option of care credit, which is great. I’ve done Invisalign with them, and am happy with how my teeth look.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Borgella the whole staff at Reginald Borgella’s dental office. For a number of reasons, especially being afraid of the dentist, it had been WAY too long since I’d had an exam, and so I had to get some serious work done on my teeth. I visited the Bronx office over the course of several months to get everything completed. Each and every time, I was clearly informed about what was needed and the process, how much it would cost, and most importantly was welcomed and put at ease. I live far away, but driving to Dr. Borgella is worth it for the wonderful care that’s coming your way!

When insurance doesn’t cover a procedure, the staff doesn’t hesitate to explain the best course of action in paying off bills, and they are very understanding and realistic when it comes to what’s urgent and what’s not. They have been a huge help in paying for our dental procedures. I wouldn’t go to any other dentist and I tell all my friends and family to use Shay Dental. The studio is well-kept and up-to-date, the workers are friendly and welcoming, and the work itself is perfect.
