In Big Sky Country, oral health is just as important as a good pair of boots. Painful or missing teeth can make it nearly impossible to chomp down on a bison burger, or enjoy one of the state’s famous huckleberry pies. What’s more, poor oral health can lead to health problems ranging from gum disease to heart failure! Think about it this way—not maintaining your oral health now is like not filling up your tank before driving on the I-90. Ignoring your teeth will lead to series issues down the line. So, contact your dentist today to learn how you can maintain your teeth daily to keep them strong and healthy for life.

Dr. Blake Sherwood has always felt that giving back to his community was of the utmost importance. While attending Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Sherwood earned a scholarship from the U.S. Air Force that gave him the opportunity to receive advanced dental training and give back to his country. After graduating with honors, Dr. Sherwood went to Maxwell Air Force Base to complete officer training, then completed a one-year dental residency program at Barksdale AFB. During this time he was trained in orthodontics, laser surgery techniques, oral sleep appliance therapy, CBCT implementation, same-day crown delivery, bone graft placement and management, implant placement and restoration, periodontal surgery, clear-tray aligner orthodontics, Invisalign, and moderate sedation techniques.

Dr. Sherwood also spent time at Whiteman AFB where he worked with an Air Force dental team that taught him the importance of patient safety and comfort. He carries those lessons with him to this day, using them as the foundation for his own practice. Today, Dr. Sherwood enjoys treating patients in the Plains area and getting involved with his community.

I am looking for a dentist to do a full set of implants who accept insurance and also have payment plan options and who don't need long time to get permanent teeth into mouth. My partials have been broken for many years and I just want my teeth fixed finally my dad took. Thanks I prefer it to be close but traveling is ok as long as it's somewhere that offer the same day or two days to complete implants and be done other wise I wouldn't travel

What is cosmetic dentistry?

Cosmetic dentistry is a branch of dentistry focused on enhancing the aesthetics and appearance of a person's teeth, gums, and smile. While traditional dentistry mainly concentrates on health and functionality, cosmetic dentistry places a strong focus on improving the visual appeal of the smile. It encompasses a range of elective procedures and treatments aimed at achieving an attractive and confident smile. Typical treatments included in cosmetic dentistry are: Cosmetic Dental Fillings: Tooth-colored (white) fillings made from composite materials to fix cavities while maintaining a natural appearance. Teeth Whitening: The process of lightening stained or discolored teeth to achieve brighter and whiter smiles. Dental Bonding: The application of a tooth-colored resin to repair or improve the aesthetics of teeth affected by chips, cracks, or gaps. Dental Veneers: Thin, custom-made shells of porcelain placed over the front surface of a tooth to improve its appearance, addressing issues like gaps, discolorations, or unevenness. Dental Crowns: Custom-made caps, typically made out of porcelain or ceramic, that cover damaged or discolored teeth, restoring their anatomy, size, and strength while improving their aesthetic appeal. Dental Implants: Surgically implanted titanium artificial tooth roots to support a single or multiple replacement teeth, providing a natural-looking and fully functional solution for missing teeth. Invisalign: A removable and discreet orthodontic treatment using a series of clear aligners to gradually straighten teeth without traditional brackets and wires. Orthodontic Treatments: Procedures like braces or ceramic braces or clear aligners to straighten misaligned or crooked teeth, improving their appearance and functionality. Smile Makeovers: Comprehensive treatment processes combining different cosmetic procedures to achieve a harmonious and aesthetically pleasing new smile. Gum Contouring: Reshaping or re-contouring of the gum line to improve the appearance of the teeth, particularly when there is excessive gum exposure, short clinical crowns, or uneven gum levels. Cosmetic dentistry enables individuals to obtain their desired smile aesthetics, boosting their confidence and often improving their overall self-esteem.

It was so easy to find a doctor and make an appointment. I didn't have to take hours to call different offices and find out who takes my insurance and who doesn't.

I'm a freelancer, so I can't buy insurance easily, so I always ended up paying a lot for doctors' visits. I signed up for a Doctors Network dental plan, and my dental cleanings cost only $25 now. If you don't have dental insurance I highly recommend it.

I fell off my bike and chipped my front tooth. I was able to find and book an appointment online right away. Next time I need an appointment I'll try Doctors Network again.
