Back in September I was in between jobs and could not afford dental insurance in Levittown. Dr. Mekawy and their staff gave me information on a dental plan for people who can’t normally afford dental care. That’s just how awesome they are. I went in thinking I had two cavities that needed to be filled. I was in a little bit of pain because of them. I explained what had been going on and gave her a document that my primary dentist in Levittown had given me, which said what dental work I needed. Because of this payment plan, I am now able to afford the dental work that needs to be done that otherwise I could not afford it.

I’m so glad I found Stuart Kaminsky DDS. Having been back for at least 5 appointments, I can honestly say that each time I left feeling clean. The staff is incredibly kind. They know their craft and don’t try to upsell you. Dr. Kaminsky is trustworthy and honest when recommending procedures and care. I personally love this level of honesty in a provider. My hygienist is great as well. She answers my questions and does an amazing job cleaning my teeth. I appreciate her patience. I never feel rushed when I’m in the chair. I definitely will be coming back for years to come.

I am just thrilled with my service from Dr. Rafya Sandhu at Westbury Smile Center. She is so welcoming, patient, very experienced, and a complete professional. They are transparent and explain every step along the way. During my first appointment, we did the usual x-rays, exam, and consultation. They told me of the problem areas and how to address them. They didn’t attempt to push me into paying for unnecessary products or procedures. Dr. Sandhu’s chairside manner is just remarkable, and her dedication to her work and her passion guarantees that she will do everything to the best of her ability. They have performed fillings and crowns for me, and they seem very detail oriented and use the latest equipment. And for Dr. Sandhu’s staff, they are a direct reflection of her. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. All in all, if you have a busy family life and are looking for a quality family dentist, look no further.

I am incredibly impressed with the care that I have received from Dr. Kaufman. I am normally very terrified of the dentist due to some awful experiences in the past. I have experienced pain from other dentists, and the service was never very good. As soon as I walked through the door, I knew this place was going to be different. The receptionist had a beaming smile on her face. The x-ray process was not difficult at all; I didn't have any discomfort. The hygienist was very gentle during my teeth cleaning. Again, I had no pain whatsoever, not even with the novocaine. Dr. Kaufman was also very personable. He wasn't like other dentists who just come in, tinker with a few things in your mouth, and leave. I highly recommend this Uniondale, NY practice. It’s awesome!

Can the dentist actually be fun? Yes! Go to Dr. Mangiaracina, and you’ll see. When I go here, my teeth are cleaned with such great care. The staff is both friendly and helpful. Plus, Dr. Mangiaracina is reasonable; she doesn’t try to pressure you to get unnecessary services. She is very honest about all your options. I’ve already recommended that my friends and family switch to Dr. Mangiaracina.

I chipped my tooth and told Dr. Afridi that I wanted it extracted because I was in a lot of pain. He assured me that he could save my tooth, so I let him work his magic. I don’t normally write reviews online, but I had such an amazing recent visit at Soft Touch Dental Care in Forest Hills, NY that I wanted to tell people about it. I’m a regular patient at Soft Touch, but I usually only go in for routine cleanings. But this time I was in a lot of pain and needed help. I called on a Tuesday during after-hours and they got me in the next morning at 7:30 a.m.. The staff was very kind and gentle with me. Dr. Normatov has a very comfortable office. She is very caring and kind. I actually fell asleep in the chair, that’s how comfortable I was. She provides excellent care. I have zero pain now, and I didn’t have any pain while she was working on me. I can’t thank Dr. Normatov and her staff enough.

A co-worker recommended Dr. Thomopoulos when I moved to Rego Park in 2017, and I love it there. They truly care about their patients and make sure your comfortable when you’re getting your dental work done. A filling that was less than 6 months old broke one day and I was able to schedule an appointment with them almost immediately. The hygienists are very nice and easy to talk to. The hygienist seems to truly care about my health, she has given me a lot of advice on how to make sure my teeth stay healthy and how to avoid plaque and tartar build up in troublesome areas. Dr. Azbel and his crew at Lucky Dental are incredible. I think I have finally found my permanent dentist here in Rego Park, NY. I recently experienced significant pain, and I ended up needing a root canal. They got me in, and they did an incredible job. This place is awesome, I always feel comfortable when I’m here. The entire staff and Dr. Aknouk are great. You can really tell they love their jobs. I’ve had Dr. Aknouk put in my gold inlay replaced my old silver fillings with porcelain computer-made filling. They’re both very friendly. I had an emergency a couple months ago when my daughter had her front tooth knocked out and Dr. Aknouk came in on his day off to do a root canal on her. This clinic is wonderful, I would highly recommend it and won’t be going anywhere else.

Queens Central Dental delivered hands-down the best dental experience I've ever had! The office is calm and friendly. Dr. Ames is an excellent doctor, very patient and warm. You know you're really getting procedures you need, and they take into consideration all of the special circumstances you bring to light. The staff are also very welcoming and professional. The hygienist should win an award for how well they explain everything and the reason it's done, which I've never had someone in the Jackson Heights area do before. No surprise sharp pokes or stretching your mouth out. End of the day - a fantastic experience! No need to fear going to the dentist, you may just look forward to it!

Queens Dental Care is incredibly great, and I can’t say enough about this dentist! Dr. Sandhu is so welcoming, and all the ladies at the front desk are so kind. I came in on a Friday at 9:00 am with my dentures broken, and I had them fixed by 11:30 am on Saturday. It was phenomenal work. My dentures fit perfectly. I highly recommend to anyone needing dental work because good doctors are hard to find like this nowadays.

I love Dr. Minkowitz. I’ve gotten a cleaning and a cavity checkup done here. My teeth look great. They do allow walk-ins and they have business hours that work with my busy schedule so that I could come in at 6pm after work. They don’t always require appointments, and you don’t have to wait long when you’re here. I recommend it to all searching for a good dentist in Maspeth, NY. Can't go wrong here.

Excellent service at Reginald Borgella DDS! Friendly and professional staff at upon entry. Knowledgeable, friendly dentists. I appreciate that everything is explained to me so that I understand what's going on can understand the best way to move forward for treatment. Bonus points that it seems everyone employed at Dr. Borgella’s (from what I've seen so far) is highly trained. I recently saw Dr. Borgella and he was the best dentist I’ve seen in Bronx - thorough, friendly, and caring.

I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

I love going to see Dr. Murphy at Radiance Dental. I’ve had dental anxiety for as long as I can remember, but since I started seeing Dr. Murphy, I’ve been much more at ease. She is very skilled and knowledgeable, always going the extra mile for my husband and me. We are so grateful to have found this dental facility. I can’t say enough good things about Smile by Choice. They do great work and are great people. This dentist office in the Upper West Side, Manhattan was right down the street from my office, and so I started going here about 3 months ago. I now work downtown Manhattan, but I still come here for the great dental service. I love going to my cleanings twice a year. I’ve never missed a dental appointment. Smile by Choice is very high quality dentistry in New York, NY. They have vaulted ceilings that let in natural light, the latest and greatest in technology, and an awesome staff that is very nice and easy to talk to. Going to the dentist can often seem like a chore, but this class makes it easy and even dare I say enjoyable. You’ll always feel like you got the best cleaning here, which is often not the case. And it’s never painful. Scraping tools can often be unpleasant, but they use an ultrasonic cleaning method that is very calming. They even give you a warm towel when you’re done with your cleaning, which seemed very first class to me!

I found Dr. Howard Lerner after reading online reviews. We needed a dentist that would be able to see us on the weekend, as it was very difficult to accommodate appointments for my son during the school week. We had wanted to switch from our pediatric dentist because he is a teenager and is very grateful to have found Dr. Lerner and his staff. The hygienist who did the cleaning was incredibly gentle and made sure to explain everything that she was doing, which made my son feel at ease. Dr. Lerner was very friendly during his exam and even complimented my son on his teeth. I appreciated that they weren't pushy about taking x-rays after I explained that I preferred to wait. I also received a discount. Parking was very convenient. We have found a new dentist for my son!

I had the first phase of a molar implant put in by a dentist while living out of state. It took a while to find a helpful dental staff and dentist to review my charts and x-rays for implant continuation ahead of my visit. Turns out, larger screw old school implants are not supported by all dentist, but some are happy to charge you money to tell you that (despite giving them the specifications ahead of time). Anyways, I was careful to screen dentists in Brooklyn after I was misled by another dentist when I was back home for a "free consultation" that was certainly not free, as they charged my insurance. Dr. Sebold and staff not only made sure that they could work on the type of implant I had put in; they even secured a pre-authorization letter very quickly. I am forever grateful for the help in moving along in the dental implant process. My #18 molar has been missing the opportunity to chew on tougher foods. Dr. Sebold’s office is clean and very modern. Highly recommend.

When I told my friend that my dentist in Brooklyn was about to retire she recommended Dr. Grinberg. As someone who hates the dentist, I was a bit nervous. I don’t handle anesthetics well and I’ve had some bad experiences with dentists in the past. I’ve had root canals, cavities, and crowns. He was knowledgeable, gentle, and friendly. He gave me some great tips to improve my dental health, and he is much more up to date with his knowledge about technology and procedures than my former dentist.
