We found Pat Nay Chu Dental P.C. in Brooklyn, NY on Doctors Network. Best customer service ever! When we arrived, the receptionist called us by name even though we had never been there before. The assistant was so friendly and humorous and made me feel so relaxed. The dental hygienist did a great job keeping me comfortable, and she was careful not to hurt me while she scraped the plaque off my teeth. Dr. Chu was very intelligent and addressed my tooth sensitivity issue. The other receptionist I met was sweet as well. They really went the extra mile and checked with my husband’s insurance for him so that he knew about how much he’d have to pay to get some work done. He’s never been to a dentist that bills the insurance rather than charging you and having the insurance company reimburse you later. Parking can be a tad tricky, but we found reasonably priced parking. Highly recommend!

Grand Smile Dentist has a convenient location in relation to my job, so I went in for an appointment. At first, I was a bit reluctant. It’s intimidating to go to a new doctor, especially a dentist. Before scheduling an appointment, I checked online reviews and was impressed by the positive feedback. When I went in to an Invisalign consult, they were able to tell me all the fees that day. They also were honest about hidden costs that might come up in the future. I appreciated the honesty. I’m grateful to have found a dentist I can trust. Dr. Panev recommended that I get my wisdom teeth removed before I get Invisalign. I agreed. I’m looking forward to seeing how my teeth turn out.

No one likes the dentist, but I do; I love my pearly white teeth and want to keep them in such good condition. Dr. Jakubowitz was recommended to me a few years ago, and I have been a loyal customer ever since. The receptionists are many things: great, friendly, professional, helpful and helpful. I never have to wait to get called back. Secondly, my hygienist is wonderful. She keeps the conversation going, and she’s very diligent in her work. Dr. Jakubowitz is wonderful too. He is very excellent when working on your teeth. He doesn’t quit working until everything is perfect. I broke a veneer. He was resculpted it multiple times until it was just right. I would have freaked out if my teeth weren’t perfect, but luckily there are. My whole family uses Dr. Jakubowitz now.

Periodontitis impacts millions of adults. In fact, studies from the Centers for Disease Control reveal that about 50% of adults over 30 suffer from the disease. Without treatment, gum disease could impact smile stability. Also known as periodontitis, this is actually the most common cause of adult tooth loss. All that to say, when you develop changes in your gums, you need to see a professional as soon as you can. Sore, red gums that bleed easily, along with receding tissues, are common indicators that you need to see a New York dental office.

Doctor Network’s dentist search tool can help connect you with restorative dentists in New York NY that accept new patients and can offer a diagnosis after a dental examination. If there is any sign of inflammation, then a treatment plan can be created. For milder cases, a deep cleaning followed by traditional cleanings every three to four months could prevent symptoms. For severe periodontitis stages, there are options like laser dentistry, gum grafts, and more to protect your gums!

As children, many of us develop teeth grinding for short periods of time. The issue tends to be temporary. But for some, bruxism could mean chronic teeth grinding into and throughout adulthood, and the pressure from grinding and clenching your teeth could damage your smile. Chipped teeth and cracks could change your appearance. You’re also more likely to develop tooth decay or even infected teeth, which is why if you notice changes to your teeth, you should consider using Doctors Network’s search tool to book an online appointment with a dental professional in New York.

Your partner or spouse may let you know you grind your teeth in your sleep. Otherwise, symptoms could include toothaches and tooth sensitivity. Treatment options vary. Some dentists bring relief by addressing the oral health issues behind your bruxism. They could correct misalignment with braces, or even replace missing teeth with dental implants. Many offer treatment with custom and comfortable occlusal splints. So don’t ignore these symptoms, talk to us about finding the right dentist in your area who accepts private patients.

You can’t put a price on an attractive smile, but as we age, most of us struggle with the loss of natural teeth. Missing teeth could lead to difficulty with eating and speaking, and can even lead to an older appearance. To treat missing teeth, people often turn to dental implants. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as dentures or fixed partial dentures, these are connected to posts inserted into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like full and partial dentures are locked into these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but far much longer with proper care and attention.

Are you ready to tackle your tooth loss with dental implants? If you are wondering how much a dental implant costs in New York, you are not alone, but first, you need to find a New York dentist who can offer surgical placement of dental implants. Doctors Network can help you with this, connecting you to a dental office who not only can address your tooth loss, but also works with walk-in patients. Same-day appointments are usually available. You can even sign up for a Doctors Network membership plan to decrease the cost of your treatment.

The dentist will carefully examine your smile. Underlying issues like gum disease may need to be treated before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer new teeth that look and function like natural dentition!

Adults are not the only ones who benefit from routine dental treatment. Adolescents require routine checkups and cleanings as well, and they need to be monitored by a dentist for signs of threats to their oral health. This could include dental malocclusion, or for teens, the arrival of wisdom teeth. If you need to schedule an appointment online with a family dentist in New York, NY with experience providing pediatric dental care, then Doctors Network is able to help you.

Routine examinations should begin as early as age two, and continue every six months. These visits enable your New York pediatric dentist to keep track of your child’s dental development, and if areas of concern develop, such as dental cavities, or gingivitis, then treatment can be administered. In addition, kids can often receive fluoride treatments to strengthen the outer enamel of their dentition and prevent tooth caries. Sealants, which coat the hard-to-reach rear teeth, can strengthen vulnerable adult teeth. In fact, this layer of acrylic can last as long as a decade in some cases.

If you are searching for family dentists in New York who can offer care for kids, contact us. We want to help you find a dentist in your area. With routine care kids not only can enjoy healthy smiles, but they also understand the importance of caring for their smiles. Checkups and cleanings can start them on the path to a lifetime of healthy smiles. All of it starts with that first consultation. So, use our search tool to find the best dentist for you and your children!

We have reached the time of the year when adults and children will be playing sports. While we hope everyone has a great time, we know that they could sustain dental trauma. Sometimes, especially when it comes to contact sports, teeth could be damaged, and when damage occurs, you need emergency treatment. Even minor damages could lead to an increased risk of tooth decay. Doctors Network can help you book an appointment with a 24-hour emergency care center in New York, NY who can assess the situation.

The outside of each tooth is coated in enamel. The enamel protects the sensitive inner structures from bacteria, and from oral health complications. But when a tooth is broken, chipped, or cracked, it could alter the appearance of your smile. You need treatment even if the damage appears minor. Likewise, you can always let us know if you need a New York emergency dentist who accepts patients without dental insurance for more minor complaints. Sudden toothaches and objects caught between the teeth could compromise your smile. Don’t forget that knocked out teeth are causes for concern as well. You also need care if a tooth filling or any kind of dental restoration comes loose!

After you visit Doctors Network and begin searching for your New York, NY dentist, you should take action by taking an over-the-counter pain reliever. A piece of cloth or a tea bag can control any bleeding. Applying an ice pack can ease facial swelling too. If a tooth is damaged or knocked loose, recover the tooth or any pieces and bring them in a sealed container. They can be placed in a glass of milk or salt water.

It was so easy to find a doctor and make an appointment. I didn't have to take hours to call different offices and find out who takes my insurance and who doesn't.

I'm a freelancer, so I can't buy insurance easily, so I always ended up paying a lot for doctors' visits. I signed up for a Doctors Network dental plan, and my dental cleanings cost only $25 now. If you don't have dental insurance I highly recommend it.
