Adults are not the only ones who benefit from regular dental care. Adolescents need routine preventive dentistry as well, and they need to be monitored by a dentist for issues like tooth decay. This could include dental misalignment, or for teens, the eruption of the wisdom teeth. If you need to book an online appointment a pediatric dentist in Miami, FL with experience providing pediatric dental care, then Doctors Network is ready to help you.

Routine examinations should begin when all baby teeth come in, and should not be skipped. These visits enable your Miami pediatric dentist to keep track of your child’s dental development, and if areas of concern develop, such as tooth decay, or gingivitis, then treatment can be administered. In addition, children can often receive a topical fluoride gel to strengthen the outer enamel of their dentition and prevent tooth cavities. Sealants, which coat the occlusal surfaces of the posterior teeth, can lower the risk of cavities too. In fact, this layer of acrylic can last as long as a decade in some cases.

If you are searching for family dentists in Miami who can offer care for kids, contact us. We want to help you find affordable dental care. With routine care children not only enjoy healthy and strong smiles, but they also learn the value of good oral hygiene. These visits can start them on the path to a lifetime of healthy smiles. All of it starts with that first checkup and cleaning. So, use our search tool to find the right practice for you and your family!

If you have a toothache, or a tooth that is injured, you need treatment. Otherwise, the tooth could develop caries and infections. Soon, there is a risk of not only missing teeth, but a spread of infection to other teeth. But sometimes, the damage or cavity is beyond the stage to be treated with a tooth filling or a root canal. Instead, the tooth could require an extraction. At Doctors Network, our team can help you book a visit with a great dentist or oral surgeon in Miami, FL who can provide a gentle tooth extraction as needed.

As we discussed earlier, severe cavities or injury could be why a tooth needs extraction. But a dentist could also remove one that is loosened by periodontitis. Extracting a tooth could improve bite balance and chewing function. Extraction could also provide room for orthodontic treatment! In many cases, this could prevent wisdom tooth impaction. Removing wisdom teeth prior to eruption helps preserve the balance and smile beauty. For people with advanced tooth loss, removing the last few teeth essentially paves the way for full or partial dentures. Your Miami general dentist could use the procedure to improve the function and health of your smile.

Now that you understand when a tooth may need to be taken out, how do you seek care for one? Well, as mentioned above Doctors Network can connect you with a dentist in the Miami, FL area. But if you don’t have dental insurance, you may worry about the cost. Fortunately, we have a direct payment plan! Our dental membership plan is opened with an initial fee and maintained with a small fee each month. For some, this could cut the cost of care by up to ninety percent!

You probably have lots of friends who have had their wisdom tooth pulled and are eager to divulge their story to you. While this can be helpful, it is still crucial to consult with a dentist or an oral surgeon. If you need these teeth removed, it is best to have a wide range of information at your disposal. This will help you understand what to expect from wisdom teeth extraction and what you should look for in a dentist. Luckily, Doctors Network can help you connect with a great dentist near you in Miami, FL that accepts patients without dental insurance.

The third molars are located in the back of your mouth, and there is one on each quadrant. They typically appear between the ages of seventeen and twenty-five. Because wisdom teeth are the last adult teeth, their presence can cause issues with your existing ones. They can erupt at odd directions, only partially erupt, or overcrowd your already-established teeth. When this happens, they are more susceptible to abscess and infections. If any of these conditions take place, it can be very uncomfortable and can affect your dentition. If you think you might have issues with wisdom teeth, it is important to see a Miami oral surgeon hastily.

If you need wisdom tooth removal, your doctor will determine how they will go about the procedure to make sure everything goes according to the plan. They will decide which of your wisdom teeth need to be removed and how complex it could get. They will also determine the appropriate type of anesthesia and the position of your existing teeth and nerve. Once they ascertain these details, they can plan your treatment more easily. When you come in for the procedure, you will receive the appropriate sedation option, so you will not experience any pain. Your dentist will extract your teeth and look after you the entire time to make sure you are doing well. Once your wisdom teeth are removed, you will be provided with post-operative instructions. Fortunately, there are many Miami dentists that accept patients without dental insurance and can skillfully pull your wisdom teeth.

It is important for children to visit a pediatric dentist bi-yearly for dental visits and cleanings. By teaching your children great oral health habits, you are ensuring that they have the skills to have healthy smiles for many years. If you are looking for a dental office in Miami who takes patients with no dental coverge, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering exams and cleanings, dentists on Doctors Network also provide your kids with protective sealants. These are thin pieces of film that go over their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a protective layer between their permanent teeth and bacteria. This ultimately prevents the risk of cavities by up to 80%. It is a simple tool that is very effective at preventing cavities on adult teeth in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another effective tool that your pediatric dental professionals provide. Fluoride is a natural mineral that helps strengthen your child’s enamel. While enamel is one of the strongest substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your little one’s teeth become more susceptible to dental caries. This procedure helps mitigate this damage. Using toothpaste that has fluoride can also help. For more information, we invite you to schedule an appointment with one of our network dental professionals in Miami.

Many people would prefer to have a whiter smile. When you venture down the aisles of any drug store, you see myriad products that advertise their teeth whitening abilities. If you have tried any of these, you know that they almost always provide unsatisfying results. However, professional teeth whitening can actually give you a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Miami, FL that takes self-pay patients, we can help you find one that offers professional teeth whitening.

When you visit your Miami dental care provider, they can provide you with either an in-office or even at-home treatment option. Should you opt for treatment in the office, you will only have to stay for roughly an hour. When you visit the office for whitening, your dentist will apply a special bleaching gel that, when activated by a special light, will get rid of stains.

If you would prefer to get an at-home treatment, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can fill with a safe peroxide solution. You will wear these for one or two hours each day for roughly 2 weeks. Once this treatment is done, you will have a whiter and brighter smile. If you would like to request a visit online with a Miami dentist that takes self-pay patients, we can help you find the best ones.

If it has been at least half a year since you last saw a dentist, you should schedule a checkup as soon as possible. When you go in for bi-yearly visits, your dentist can thoroughly examine your teeth to make sure nothing is amiss. This helps prevent cavities from occurring, minimizing the chance of needing more expensive procedures at a later time. If you need to schedule an online appointment with a dentist in Miami, FL that takes patients without dental insurance we can help you find a great office.

To begin your visit, a hygienist will clean your teeth thoroughly. This will remove built-up that is difficult to remove at home — even with great brushing and flossing habits. The cleaning will leave your teeth feeling fresh.

Once your cleaning is done, your Miami dentist will begin his or her examination. During this portion of your appointment, the dentist will thoroughly look at your oral cavity to identify any potential complications. If they find anything amiss, they can suggest the proper treatment. The Miami dental office we set you up with will offer a wide range of services to address a variety of dental conditions. If you attend regularly scheduled checkups they can monitor the health of your smile. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment online with a dentist that accepts patients without dental insurance, we can help you find a great one.

I'm a freelancer, so I can't buy insurance easily, so I always ended up paying a lot for doctors' visits. I signed up for a Doctors Network dental plan, and my dental cleanings cost only $25 now. If you don't have dental insurance I highly recommend it.
