When we first moved to Alexandria, VA, I was worried about finding a good dentist office near me. I’m happy to say we found a great one. My dental exam and first cleaning went well. When my teenage sons went in they too found the team to be very nice, gentle, and knowledgeable. Dr. Kwon answers any questions you may have and is very patient with all his patients. They send out text messages to remind you of your appointment, which I appreciate because of my busy schedule. You’ll never be in the waiting room for long, but it is a beautiful waiting room.

When a tooth becomes abscessed, treatment is required. Not seeking care means the tooth could essentially die. At this stage, the tooth may need to be extracted. Otherwise, the infection moves into other parts of the smile. If posible, the ideal treatment for an infected tooth is a root canal. The procedure is effective, but sometimes a root canalled tooth becomes infected again and requires additional care. You may need to see one of our Alexandria dentists or endodontists for further treatments.

Root canal treatment involves removing the tissues from the tooth’s interior. The interiors and root canals are cleaned, and a restorative material known as gutta percha is then added to the tooth. In many cases, the tooth is then restored with a full restoration. The restoration is often custom-made to protect the tooth and also look natural. But if there are complications with the procedure, the prognosis of the condition could be compromised. The tooth could begin developing symptoms, such as toothaches and complications with eating. If you experience this, don’t risk missing teeth. Doctors Network can connect you with a dentist in Alexandria, VA that can offer retreatment and accepts new patients.

If you don’t have an insurance plan don’t let that discourage you! Doctors Network can offer a discount dental plan to make care affordable. With a monthly membership fee, you can undergo necessary root canal retreatment at a reasonable cost!

When a tooth is grossly decayed, it could become an infected tooth. The presence of an abscessed tooth means serious discomfort, and without treatment, it could result in tooth loss. This is why your tooth may need treatment. Fortunately, there are options available to treat an infection. Our network can help connect you to a Alexandria endodontist for endodontic treatment. We can also help find an endodontist that accepts uninsured patients.

A dental abscess means that harmful anaerobic bacteria have made contact with the inner pulp. The pulp is the nerve center of the tooth, and it keeps the tooth healthy. Lack of intervention for an abscess could allow symptoms to grow worse. A common warning sign of trouble could include swelling near the aching tooth. Don’t ignore common warning signs. Talk to our team about finding a Alexandria dental professional who accepts uninsured patients and payment plan options.

A root canal procedure is a comfortable treatment that can be completed in one sitting. Essentially, after the dental specialist numbs the tooth, the infected tissues are removed from within. The interior of the tooth is cleaned, and a special restorative material is added. The last step involves capping the tooth with a porcelain or gold crown. The crown is designed to protect the tooth and appear esthetically pleasing. This treatment helps relieve the pain.

Improved diet and oral hygiene habits can help lower your risk of future cavities and dental infections. Checkups and cleanings help as well. If you’re looking for treatment in Alexandria for infected teeth, contact Doctors Network or book an online appointment. You have options, and we know how to find practices that accept uninsured patients.

It is crucial for kids to visit a pediatric dentist bi-yearly for dental visits and cleanings. By teaching your kids great oral health habits, you are ensuring that they have the knowledge to have healthy smiles for many years. If you are looking for a pediatric dentist in Alexandria who accepts patients with no dental insurance, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering exams and cleanings, pediatric dentists on Doctors Network also provide your kid with dental sealants. These are thin pieces of film that go over their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a protective layer between their adult molars and harmful germs. This ultimately prevents the risk of tooth decay by up to 80%. It is a simple treatment that is very effective at preventing the need for fillings in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another effective tool that your pediatric dental professionals provide. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that helps strengthen your children’s enamel layer. While enamel is one of the most durable substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your child’s teeth become more susceptible to damage. Fluoride treatment helps stop decay from occurring. Using toothpaste that has fluoride can also help. To learn more, please schedule an appointment with one of our pediatric dentists in Alexandria.

Many folks would be elated to have a whiter smile. When you venture down the aisles of any grocery store, you see myriad products that promote their teeth whitening abilities. If you have tried any of these, you know that they almost always provide lackluster results. However, professional teeth whitening can actually provide a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Alexandria, VA that takes uninsured patients, we can help you find one that offers professional teeth whitening.

When you visit your Alexandria dental care provider, they can provide you with either an in-office or at-home treatment. Should you opt for treatment in the office, you will only have to stay for roughly an hour. When you visit the office for whitening, your dentist will apply a special bleaching gel that, when activated by a special light, will get rid of stains.

If you would prefer to go with an at-home treatment, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can fill up with a safe bleaching solution. You will put these on for a couple of hours each day for roughly 2 weeks. Once this treatment is complete, you will have a whiter and brighter smile. If you would like to request a consultation with a Alexandria dentist that accepts uninsured patients, we can help you find a fantastic one.

Virginia isn’t just one of the 13 original colonies; it is home to the first English settlement in the New World, Jamestown. Not long after, Virginia also saw the end of the American Revolution with the surrender of Cornwallis at Yorktown. With its close proximity to the nation’s capital, Washington, D.C., more Virginians today work for the government than any other industry, equaling about a quarter of the state’s population. Nevertheless, out of the state’s 8.4 million residents, over 10% do not have insurance, which can make keeping up with routine dental care difficult and expensive. That’s why Doctors Network has teamed up with dentists across the Old Dominion State to provide patients with more affordable direct dental plans. Whether you have insurance or not, a direct dental plan guarantees that you can receive the high-quality of care you deserve while paying significantly reduced prices.

Virginia has seen a lot of firsts, from the first colony to the first Thanksgiving, and more. Now, residents of Virginia can be among the first to change the way they pay for their ongoing dental health care. The direct dental plan that your dentist offers through Doctors Network is not insurance, but rather a membership that grants you access to unprecedented discounts on all dental treatments. For instance, checkups and cleanings are only $25 per visit under the plan, and treatments such as fillings, crowns, Invisalign®, dental implants, and more are discounted significantly, often by up to 90%. Also unlike insurance, there are no premiums or deductibles to worry about; simply pay a low monthly fee, which is set by your dentist, and every treatment you receive will be discounted according to the Doctors Network fee schedule.
