As soon as you set foot in Neighborhood Family Dentistry in Madison Heights, you can tell that the staff is welcoming, skilled, and professional. Even though I was late, they got me to the back in just 10 minutes. During the extraction, Dr. Kashat-Mansour and her staff ensured I was relaxed and that I knew what was going to happen. Originally, I just went in for an x-ray and a consult, but Dr. Kashat-Mansour said she could pull the tooth out on the spot. She said there was no point for a consultation. Doing it right away saved me both time and money! Dr. Kashat-Mansour is amazing. It’s now the next day, and I feel great with no pain! I strongly recommend this dental office to everyone!

When a tooth becomes infected, treatment is required. Without care, the tooth could essentially die. At this stage, the tooth may need to be extracted. Otherwise, the infection moves into other parts of the smile. Often, the ideal treatment for an infected tooth is root canal therapy. This procedure is effective, but sometimes a root canalled tooth becomes infected again and requires additional care. You may need to book an appointment with one of our knowledgeable Ann Arbor emergency dentists for additional endodontic treatment.

Root canal treatment involves removing the tissues from the inside and root canals. The interiors and root canals are cleaned with care, and a restorative material known as gutta percha is then administered. Usually, the tooth is then restored with a tooth crown. The restoration is often custom-made to protect the tooth and also match the rest of the smile. But if the procedure is not successful, the health of the tooth could be unpredictable. The tooth could begin developing symptoms, such as toothaches and pain when eating. If you experience this type of discomfort, do not risk missing teeth. Doctors Network can help you find an emergency dentist in Ann Arbor, MI that can offer retreatment and accepts patients who do not have dental insurance.

If you don’t have dental insurance don’t let that discourage you! Doctors Network can offer a direct dental plan to make your treatment fit your budget. With a simple monthly rate, you can receive a root canal retreatment at a reasonable cost!

When a tooth is severely damaged, it could become infected. The presence of infection means serious discomfort, and without treatment, it could result in tooth loss. This is why your tooth may need treatment. Fortunately, there are options available to bring relief. Our network can help connect you to a Ann Arbor dental professional for root canal therapy. We can also help find a restorative dentist that accepts self-pay patients.

A dental abscess means that harmful anaerobic bacteria have made contact with sensitive tooth structure. The pulp is the nerve center of the tooth, and it ensures a functional tooth. Lack of treatment for an infection could allow serious discomfort. A common warning sign of trouble could include sensitivity. Don’t ignore unexplained discomfort. Talk to our team about finding a Ann Arbor dentist skilled in performing root canals who accepts self-pay patients and other forms of coverage.

A root canal procedure is a restorative dental treatment that can be completed in one sitting. Essentially, after the endodontist examines the tooth, the carious tooth structures are removed from within. The interior of the tooth is cleaned, and gutta percha is added. The last step involves capping the tooth with a custom-made dental crown. The crown is designed to protect the tooth and look natural. This treatment prevents tooth loss.

Improved diet and oral hygiene habits can help lower your risk of future tooth cavity and dental infections. Dental exams help as well. If you’re looking for root canal therapy in Ann Arbor for an infected tooth, talk to Doctors Network or schedule an online appointment. You have options, and we know how to find practices that accept self-pay patients.

It is paramount for children to visit the dentist every six months for exams and cleanings. By teaching your children great oral health habits, you are ensuring that they have the tools to have healthy smiles for ever. If you are looking for a dental office in Ann Arbor who takes new patients, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering biannual dental checkups and cleanings, dentists on Doctors Network also provide your little children with protective sealants. These are thin pieces of film that go over their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a protective layer between their molars and harmful bacteria. This ultimately prevents the risk of decay by up to 80%. It is a simple service that is very effective at preventing cavities on adult teeth in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another effective tool that your pediatric dentists provide. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that helps bolster your child’s teeth. While enamel is one of the strongest substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your little one’s teeth become more susceptible to decay. Fluoride treatment helps stop decay from occurring. Using toothpaste that has fluoride can also help. For more information, please schedule an appointment with one of our dental practices in Ann Arbor.

Many individuals would prefer to have a whiter smile. When you walk down the aisles of any pharmacy, you see countless products that promote their teeth whitening abilities. If you have tried any of these, you know that they almost always provide disappointing results. However, professional tooth bleaching can actually give you a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Ann Arbor, MI that works with patients without dental insurance, we can help you find one that offers professional tooth whitening.

When you visit your Ann Arbor dental care provider, they can provide you with either an at-home or in-office treatment option. Should you opt for treatment in the office, you will only have to stay for roughly an hour. When you visit the office for whitening, your dentist will apply a special bleaching gel that, when activated by a special light, will get rid of stains.

If you would prefer to choose whitening from the comfort of your home, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can use along with a safe peroxide or bleaching solution. You will wear these for one or two hours each day for roughly 2 weeks. Once this treatment is over, you will have a whiter smile. If you would like to schedule a visit with a Ann Arbor dentist that accepts patients without dental insurance, we can help you find the best ones.

If it has been over six months since you last saw a dentist, you should schedule a consultation as soon as possible. When you go in for bi-yearly visits, your dentist can thoroughly examine your smile to make sure nothing is amiss. This helps prevent caries from occurring, minimizing the chance of needing more invasive procedures at a later time. If you need to schedule an appointment with a dentist in Ann Arbor, MI that takes private patients we can help you find a great office.

To begin your visit, a hygienist will clean your teeth thoroughly. This will remove tartar and plaque that is tough to remove at home — even with terrific brushing and flossing habits. The cleaning will leave your smile feeling rejuvenated.

Once your cleaning is done, your Ann Arbor dentist will begin his or her examination. During this portion of your consultation, the dentist will thoroughly look at your teeth to identify any potential problems. Should they notice something awry, they can suggest the proper treatment. The Ann Arbor dentist we set you up with will offer a myriad of services to address a variety of dental complications. If you attend regularly scheduled checkups they can monitor the health of your mouth. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment with a dentist that accepts private patients, we can help you find a great one.

Michigan may be best known as home to Motor City—the common nickname for Detroit, which was the center of America’s automotive boom. However, it is also known for being the only state to touch all four of the Great Lakes, giving the state 3,100 miles of freshwater coastline—more than any other state or province in the world. Michigan is home to over 9.9 million people, and helping them all maintain a healthy quality of life has always been a priority for dental health experts who call the state home. With Doctors Network, dentists can now offer patients the high-quality professional dental care they deserve at drastically reduced prices, making it easier for families in Michigan to take good care of their smiles.

Staying ahead of the curve has always been Michigan’s thing. In today’s world of rising dental health care costs, that means finding ways to keep the quality of care high while minimizing costs for average families. Doctors Network helps local dentists solve that problem by offering direct dental plans to all of their patients. Unlike dental insurance, a direct dental plan gives you access to substantial discounts on every treatment that your dentist offers. This includes everything from preventive checkups and cleanings that only cost $25 per visit to more involved cosmetic, restorative, and prosthetic procedures that are discounted by up to 90%. For the seven percent of patients in Michigan who do not have insurance, a direct dental plan can be the best way to make dental care more affordable for the whole family. For patients who already have insurance, the plan can help ensure that they are not left with exorbitant out-of-pocket expenses, even for elective procedures like porcelain veneers, Invisalign® clear aligners, dental implants, and more.
