As kids, we lose our primary teeth over time. However, in adulthood, losing teeth means poor oral health. Periodontal disease leads to major tooth loss. Since losing teeth at adulthood isn’t natural, this means problems. You could have problems with nutritional intake. Problems articulating are a common consequence. Finally, you could risk damages to your smile, or even your facial structure. You need an amazing in-network dentist in Tampa, FL who can replace missing teeth. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help find a local dentist.

First, we will connect you to a dedicated dentist near you. After that, your new dentist can evaluate your smile to assess your tooth loss. For less severe cases, a dental bridge could be the best option, addressing one to three lost teeth in a row. For several gaps, partials could offer a solution and restore bite function. Finally, a complete denture could be custom-made. While most fulls and partials are removable, they could be secured with multiple dental implants. Dental implants act as natural teeth, and prevent negative changes to your maxilla and mandible and facial structure following tooth loss.

If you live in the Tampa‘s neighborhoods and have lost your natural teeth, let us help. We can help you get started on receiving bridges or dentures. Model-worthy teeth are within reach, even if you’ve lost all of your teeth, and even if many years have elapsed since that happened!

P. S. Please celebrate our dental surgeons in Nashville, TN with us this week.

There is no substitute for showing off a perfect smile, but as we age, many of us struggle with missing teeth. Missing teeth could lead to difficulty with eating and speaking, and can even lead to bone loss in the jaw. To treat tooth loss, people often turn to implants and fixed dentures. Unlike traditional options, such as dentures or fixed partial dentures, these are connected to posts that act as new roots. Crowns or even prosthetics like full and partial dentures are securely attached to these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but possibly a lifetime with proper care.

Are you ready to tackle your tooth loss with dental implants? If you want to know how much a dental implant costs near you in Tampa, you are not alone, but firstly, you should find a Tampa dentist who can offer prosthetic dentistry. Doctors Network’s search tool can help you with this, connecting you to a dental office who not only can address your tooth loss, but also works with patients without dental insurance. Same-day appointments are usually available. You can even register for a Doctors Network dental plan to decrease the cost of your treatment.

The dentist will take a close look at your smile. Underlying issues like gum disease may need to be addressed before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer replacement teeth that look and function like natural ones!

Major problems arise when we lose natural teeth. Obviously, there are problems with eating your favorite foods. Even talking clearly could be a problem. However, the major problem is the loss of structure in the jaw. This weakens the jaw, and could even cause a prematurely aged appearance. More importantly, this limits dental implant placement. Additional treatments could be necessary to strengthen the jaw in order to prepare the gum for dental implants! Fortunately, Doctors Network could link you to a local Tampa dentist who is in-network with Doctors Network Dental Plan and provides ridge augmentation. In addition, we could also discuss our membership program to make care affordable!

Bone grafting is also known as ridge augmentation. Essentially this enables the dentist to restore the lost structure in your gums. Your dentist could employ new tissue from multiple sources. Tissue could be sourced from the back of the jaw or the hip. Donor materials such as freeze-dried bovine bone particles may be recommended too. Some opt for synthetic materials. During oral surgery, these are applied to the areas of weakened structure in the mandible.

Once the area heals, one or more dental implants could be placed. The body will allow them to bond with the jaw. As a result, they help prevent any further breakdown in the jaw, allowing long-lasting tooth replacement. Our team can connect you to a dentist or oral surgeon in Tampa, FL who offers this surgical procedure, and also let you know about our membership plan to make sure your care fits in your budget!

Tooth loss could lead to several problems for your smile. For example, this could impact how easily you eat your favorite foods, or how clearly you can articulate. But the most severe complication is the break down of structure in the jaw. The body suspends the flow of calcium, phosphate, and other minerals to the areas without tooth roots, which in turn causes bone loss and the loss of youthful facial structure and weakens the jaw significantly. Which means you may not be able to receive dental implants to address lost teeth. But Doctors Network can connect you with a dentist in Tampa, FL who can make smiles ready for implants.

As we’ve discussed in previous posts, a ridge augmentation procedure helps strengthen the mandible, so it can support dental implants. But what about the upper arch? Instead of grafting, your Tampa dentist could perform a sinus lift. Basically, the dentist will raise the sinus floor to induce the formation of new bone structure. The new structure can support one or more implants. Once the new teeth are secured, this stimulates the growth of bone tissue to preserve the area. Your new teeth can then stay in place for years, possibly even a lifetime.

If you need to strengthen your weakened upper jawbone to support new teeth, we could help. Our team can connect you with a Tampa, FL dental professional who can offer a sinus lift and takes patients without dental insurance. When your smile is strengthened and ready, dental implants could provide a complete smile again. If you don’t have insurance, don’t let this stand between you and a complete smile. Instead, talk to our team about our Direct Dental Plan. With a monthly fee, you can have treatments discounted by as much as 90% in some situations. A full smile can happen!

To safeguard the health, function, and beauty of your smile, you need help from a good dental practice in Tampa, and we can help you find local dental practices that accept most dental insurances!

What happens when you lose your teeth? Well, the surrounding teeth could drift from position, impacting your overall smile alignment. The pressure on your tempromandibular joints and bite balance could lead to painful complications, like TMD or persistent teeth grinding or clenching. You could have difficulty consuming solid foods, and speaking clearly could become complicated as well. But the most severe complication is the break down of the jawbone structure. This means that you could suffer further tooth loss. In addition, facial structure changes could make you appear older! But help is available, as Tampa dentists could discuss advanced prosthetics, such as bridges, dentures, and implants, and select treatment options that could be covered with most dental insurances.

Fixed partial dentures could address minor tooth loss. All on 4 dental implants could provide solutions for more severe cases. For the perfect solution to your tooth loss, you could find the best Tampa dentists who perform teeth implants. Don’t let tooth loss impact your quality of life, and talk to our team about finding a prosthodontist!

It is crucial for children to visit a pediatric dentist on a biannual basis for checkups and cleanings. By teaching children how to take care of their teeth, you are ensuring that they have the knowledge to have healthy smiles for ever. If you are looking for a pediatric dentist in Tampa who accepts uninsured patients, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering examinations and cleanings, dentists on Doctors Network also provide your little children with sealants. These are small pieces of BPA-free acrylic that dentists paint onto their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a barrier between their adult molars and bacteria. This ultimately prevents the risk of infection by up to 80%. It is a simple procedure that is very effective at preventing the need for fillings in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another proven tool that your pediatric dentists provide. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that helps bolster your child’s enamel layer. While enamel is one of the strongest substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your child’s teeth become more susceptible to damage. Fluoride treatment prevents this from happening. Using high-fluoride toothpaste can also help. For more information, we invite you to schedule an appointment with one of our dental practices in Tampa.
