Today I had my first cleaning at Advanced Dental Care in Plainville, MA. I just had braces put on, so I was a little anxious to see how it would pan out. The office was easy to find with decent parking, and the facility was just gorgeous. The receptionists were welcoming and knew what they were doing. They took me back right at my appointment time. The hygienist gave me an incredibly thorough cleaning and asked me if I wanted them to call my orthodontist for my most recent x-rays so that I wouldn’t have to do them again. I was so grateful because they not only reduced my radiation exposure, but they also didn’t charge me for something they didn’t really need to do. They never tried to push any services on me. The dental hygienist was so smart and detail oriented. She even looked at my mouth for any signs of oral cancer and noticed that my lymph node was a little swollen (I had just been sick recently). Instead of the archaic metal scraper to clean the tartar off my teeth, they used an ultrasonic tool, and then blasted me with baking soda (it didn’t hurt at all!). Dr. Naiman thinks he’s the best dentist near me, and I can guarantee that that’s accurate!

As kids, we lose our baby teeth as a natural part of growing up. However, as adults, losing teeth means poor oral health. Periodontitis could be responsible as well. Since missing teeth at adulthood isn’t natural, this means issues with smile stability. You could have problems eating. Problems talking are a common consequence. Finally, you could risk impacting your smile alignment, or even your facial structure. You need a new private dentist in Providence, RI who can replace missing teeth. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help locate one.

First, we will connect you to an experienced dentist in your area. After that, your new dentist can inspect your smile to assess your tooth loss. For less severe cases, a dental bridge could be placed, restoring smile function. For several missing teeth, partial dentures could offer a solution and rebuild your smile. Finally, a complete denture or CD could be crafted and secured. While most fulls and partial dentures are removable, they could be stablized with dental implants. Dental implants are secured like natural teeth, and prevent negative changes to your jaw and facial structure following missing a tooth.

If you live in the Providence area and need a solution for tooth loss, let us know. We can get you started on receiving the tooth replacement you need. A full smile is possible, even if you’ve lost all of your teeth, and even if years have gone by since that happened!

P. S. Please congratulate our dental surgeons in Nashville, TN with us this week.

There is no substitute for a full smile, but as we age, most of us struggle with missing teeth. Missing teeth could lead to trouble with eating and speaking, and can even lead to an older appearance. To treat missing teeth, people often turn to implants and fixed dentures. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as bridges or removable dentures, these are connected to posts inserted into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like bridges are locked into these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but far much longer with proper care and attention.

Are you ready to tackle your tooth loss with dental implants? If you are wondering how much a dental implant costs in Providence, you are not alone, but firstly, you need to find a Providence dentist who can offer surgical placement of dental implants. Doctors Network’s search tool can help you with this, connecting you to a dentist who not only can address your concerns about missing teeth, but also works with walk-in patients. Same-day appointments are usually available. You can even sign up for a Doctors Network membership plan to decrease the cost of your procedure.

The dentist will carefully examine your smile. Underlying factors may need to be considered before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer new teeth that look and function like natural ones!

Major problems arise when we lose natural teeth. Obviously, there are problems with consuming solid foods. Even speaking clearly could be a problem. However, the major problem is the loss of mass and density in the jaw. This weakens the jaw, and could even cause a prematurely aged appearance. More importantly, this limits dental implant placement. Additional treatments could be necessary to strengthen the jaw in order to make dental implant placement possible! Fortunately, Doctors Network could help you schedule an appointment with a local Providence oral and maxillofacial surgeon who is in-network with individual dental insurance plans and offers this care. In addition, we could also discuss our membership plan to make dental care affordable!

Ridge preservation is also referred to as ridge augmentation. Essentially this enables the dentist to restore the lost structure in your mandible. Your dentist could employ new tissue from multiple sources. Tissue could be taken from the back of the jaw or the hip. Donor materials such as bovine bone particles may be recommended too. Others recommend synthetic materials. During oral surgery, these are applied to the areas of weakened structure in the mandible bone.

Once the area heals, one or more dental implants could be placed. The body will allow them to bond with the jaw. As a result, they help prevent any further breakdown in the jaw, allowing long-lasting tooth replacement. Our team can connect you to a dentist in Providence, RI who performs ridge augmentation and dental implants, and also let you know about our membership plan to make sure your treatment fits your budget!

Tooth loss could lead to several problems for your smile. For example, this could impact your nutritional intake, or how clearly you can talk. But the most serious complication is the break down of structure in the jaw. The body suspends the flow of calcium and phosphate to the areas without teeth, which in turn causes bone loss and the loss of youthful facial structure and weakens the structure significantly. Which means you may not be able to receive dental implants to address your missing teeth. But Doctors Network can connect you with a dentist in Providence, RI who can strengthen your smile.

As we’ve discussed in previous posts, a ridge augmentation procedure helps strengthen the lower jaw, so it can support dental implants. But what about the the upper area? Instead of grafting, your Providence dentist could perform a sinus lift. Essentially, the dentist will raise the sinus floor to induce the formation of new support structure. The new structure can support one or more implants. Once the new teeth are secured, this stimulates the growth of bone tissue to prevent further breakdowns. Your new teeth can then stay firm for decades, possibly even a lifetime.

If you need to strengthen your weakened upper jawbone to support new teeth, we could help. Our team can connect you with a Providence, RI dental professional who can address tooth loss and takes new patients. When your smile is strengthened and ready, dental implants could provide a complete smile again. If you don’t have insurance, don’t let this stand between you and a complete smile. Instead, talk to our team about our monthly membership plan. With our Direct Dental Plan, you can have treatments discounted by as much as 90% in some situations. A full smile is in your future!

To replace your missing teeth, you need help from a good dentist around Providence, and we can help you find local dental practices that accept dental insurance!

What happens when gaps appear in your smile? Well, the surrounding teeth could drift from position, causing dental misalignment. The pressure on your TMJ and bite balance could lead to painful complications, like TMD or persistent teeth grinding or clenching. You could have difficulty enjoying a variety of meal options, and speaking clearly could be complicated too. But the most severe complication is the loss of mass and density in the jawbone. This means you risk the loss of even more teeth. In addition, facial structure changes could make you appear older! But help is available, as Providence dental professionals could discuss advanced prosthetics, such as bridges, dentures, and implants, and select treatment options that could be covered with dental insurance.

Dental bridges could address minor tooth loss. All on 4 dental implants could provide solutions for more severe cases. For a functional and effective prosthetic, you could find the best Providence dentists that perform dental implants. Do not let missing teeth complicate your daily life, and talk to our team about finding an implantologist!

It is essential for kids to visit the dentist every six months for checkups and cleanings. By teaching kids great oral health habits, you are ensuring that they have the skills to have healthy smiles for ever. If you are looking for a dental office in Providence who accepts uninsured patients, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering exams and cleanings, dentists on Doctors Network also provide your kid with protective sealants. These are thin pieces of film that go over their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a barrier between their adult teeth and harmful bacteria. This ultimately prevents the risk of decay by up to eighty percent. It is a simple service that is very effective at preventing cavities in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another proven tool that your kids’ dentists provide. Fluoride is a natural mineral that helps bolster your child’s teeth. While enamel is one of the strongest substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your child’s teeth become more susceptible to dental caries. This procedure helps mitigate this damage. Using toothpaste that has fluoride can also help. To learn more, please schedule an appointment with one of our dental practices in Providence.

Today, Rhode Island is home to nearly 1.1 million residents, and taking care of their families is equally important. This is why dentists across the Ocean State have teamed up with Doctors Network to help their patients more easily afford the high-quality dental care they deserve.
