As adolescents, we lose our primary teeth as our smile develops. However, as adults, losing teeth means poor oral health. Gum disease could be responsible as well. Since missing teeth at adulthood isn’t natural, this means oral health complications. You could have difficulties consuming solid foods. Problems talking are a common consequence. Finally, you could risk negative changes to your smile, or even your facial structure. You need a permanent in-network dentist in New Haven, CT who can replace missing teeth. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help you on the road to a full smile.

First, we will connect you to a dentist in your location who accepts your insurance. After that, your new dentist can examine your smile to assess your tooth loss. For mild cases, a dental bridge could be placed, addressing one to three missing teeth in a row. For several gaps, partials could offer a solution and address complicated tooth loss. Finally, a complete denture could be crafted and secured. While most complete dentures and partials are removable, they could be secured with titanium implants. Dental implants act as natural teeth, and stimulate bone preservation in your jawbones and facial structure following missing a tooth.

If you live in the New Haven‘s proximity and have unsightly gaps in your smile, let us help. We can help you get started on receiving a dental prosthetic. Model-worthy teeth are within reach, even if you’ve suffered complete tooth loss, and even if years have gone by since that happened!

P. S. Please celebrate our dental surgeons in Nashville, TN with us this week.

You can’t put a price on showing off a perfect smile, but as we get older, most of us struggle with missing teeth. Missing teeth could lead to trouble with eating and speaking, and can even lead to an older appearance. To treat missing teeth, people often turn to implants and fixed dentures. Unlike traditional options, such as bridges or removable dentures, these are connected to posts placed into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like bridges are securely attached to these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but several decades with proper care.

Are you ready to tackle your tooth loss with dental implants? If you are wondering how much dental implants cost near New Haven, you are not alone, but firstly, you need to find a New Haven dentist who can offer tooth replacement. Doctors Network’s search tool can help you with this, connecting you to a dental professional who not only can address your tooth loss, but also takes walk-in patients. You can even sign up for a Doctors Network membership plan to decrease the cost of your treatment.

The dentist will carefully examine your smile. Underlying oral health concerns may need to be addressed before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer new teeth that look and function like natural ones!

Oral health declines when we lose natural teeth. Obviously, there are problems with eating your favorite foods. Even clear speech could be a problem. However, the major problem is the break down of density in the jaw. This weakens the jaw, and could even cause a prematurely aged appearance. More importantly, this leaves the smile too weak for implants. Additional treatments could be necessary to strengthen the jaw in order to make dental implant placement possible! Fortunately, Doctors Network could help you schedule an appointment with a local New Haven oral surgeon who is in-network with Obama Care and offers jawbone grafting. In addition, we could also discuss our membership plan to make care affordable!

Jawbone grafting is also known as ridge augmentation. Essentially this enables the dentist to restore the lost structure in your mandible. Your dentist could employ new tissue from multiple sources. We could take tissue from the back of the jaw or the hip. Donor materials such as freeze-dried bovine bone particles could also be used. We could also recommend synthetic materials. During oral surgery, these are applied to the areas of weakened structure in the lower jaw.

Once the area heals, one or more dental implants could be placed. The body will see them as natural structures. As a result, they help prevent any further breakdown in the jaw, protecting facial structure. Our team can connect you to a dentist in New Haven, CT who performs jawbone grafting, and also let you know about our dental plan to make sure your care fits in your budget!

Tooth loss could lead to major issues for your smile. For example, this could impact how easily you eat your favorite foods, or how clearly you can speak. But the most serious complication is the break down of structure in the jaw. The body decreases the flow of calcium and phosphate to the areas without tooth roots, which in turn causes bone loss and the loss of youthful facial structure and weakens the jaw significantly. Which means you may not be able to receive dental implants to address your missing teeth. But Doctors Network can connect you with a dentist in New Haven, CT who can shore up your jaw.

As we’ve discussed in previous posts, a ridge augmentation procedure helps strengthen the mandible, so it can support dental implants. But what about the the upper area? Instead of grafting, your New Haven dentist could perform a sinus lift. Essentially, the dentist will push up the sinus floor to induce the formation of new tissues. The new structure can support dental implants. Once the new teeth are secured, this stimulates the growth of bone tissue to keep your jaw secure. Your new teeth can then last for decades to come, possibly even a lifetime.

If you need to strengthen your weakened upper jawbone to support a new smile, we could help. Our team can connect you with a New Haven, CT oral surgeon who can provide these services and takes new patients. When your smile is strengthened and ready, dental implants could provide a complete smile again. If you don’t have insurance, don’t let this stand between you and a complete smile. Instead, talk to our team about our monthly membership plan. With a monthly membership fee, you can have treatments discounted by as much as 90% in some situations. A full smile can happen!

It is crucial for children to visit a dental professional on a biannual basis for checkups and cleanings. By teaching your children great oral health habits, you are ensuring that they have the knowledge to have healthy smiles for ever. If you are looking for a dentist in New Haven who takes patients with no dental coverge, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering checkups and cleanings, dentists on Doctors Network also provide your little children with dental sealants. These are thin pieces of film that go over their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a barrier between their back teeth and germs. This ultimately prevents the risk of tooth decay by up to 80 percent. It is a simple tool that is very effective at preventing cavities on adult teeth in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another proven tool that your dentists provide. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that helps fortify your children’s enamel. While enamel is one of the strongest substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your kid’s teeth become more susceptible to cavities. This procedure helps mitigate this damage. Using fluoride toothpaste can also help. To learn more, please schedule an appointment with one of our dental practices in New Haven.
