I just recently started going to Dr. Drakeford. After my first appointment where she listened to my questions and concerns, she scheduled an appointment 3 days afterward for my crown prep and a temporary partial. I was worried about losing a tooth anchor for a filed 5 tooth bridge and not having a partial to make it look more natural until the treatment was complete. Dr. Drakeford took my concerns away and made me feel calm and comfortable. She had a new assistant who actually came in on her day off to help her with me. Friday was supposed to be her day off too, but she still came in and saw me. I left feeling very satisfied, and they were both very nice. The front desk staff was kind and caring. The office is very big and has the latest technology. They offer more operations than any other dentist in Dallas. The office is beautiful, and so is the art they hang up on the walls. I recommend this place, and I feel very lucky to have found them.

As children, we lose our primary teeth over time. However, in adulthood, losing teeth means poor oral health. The advanced stage of gum disease could be responsible as well. Since missing teeth at adulthood isn’t natural, this means issues with smile stability. You could have difficulties with nutritional intake. Problems articulating clearly may develop. Finally, you could risk impacting your smile, or even smile’s stability. You need a skilled in-network dentist in Garland, TX who can correct your tooth loss. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help you on the road to a full smile.

First, we will connect you to an experienced dentist in your area. Once we do, your new dentist can examine your smile to diagnose the conditions for your tooth loss. For mild cases, a dental bridge could be the best option, providing lifelike results. For several gaps, partials could offer a solution and restore bite function. Finally, a complete denture or CD could be custom-made. While most fulls and partials are removable, they could be supported with dental implants. Dental implants act as natural teeth, and prevent negative changes to your jaw and facial structure following losing a tooth.

If you live in the Garland‘s neighborhoods and need a solution for tooth loss, let us know. We can get you started on receiving a dental prosthetic. A full smile is possible, even if you’ve suffered edentulism, and even if many years have elapsed since that happened!

P. S. Please celebrate our dental surgeons in Nashville, TN with us this week.

Nothing feels better than showing off a perfect smile, but as we get older, many of us struggle with missing teeth. Missing teeth could lead to difficulty with eating and speaking, and can even lead to an older appearance. To treat missing teeth, people often turn to dental implants. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as bridges or removable dentures, these are connected to posts that act as new roots. Crowns or even prosthetics like full and partial dentures are locked into these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but far much longer with proper care.

Are you ready to address unsightly gaps with dental implants? If you want to know how much a dental implant costs near Garland, you are not alone, but firstly, you should find a Garland dentist who can offer implant dentistry. Doctors Network can help you with this, connecting you to a dental professional who not only can address your tooth loss, but also accepts patients without dental insurance. You can even register for a Doctors Network dental plan to decrease the cost of your treatment.

The dentist will carefully examine your smile. Underlying issues like gum disease may need to be considered before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer replacement teeth that look and function like natural teeth!

A lot happens to our smile when we lose natural teeth. Obviously, there are problems with eating your favorite foods. Even talking clearly could be a problem. However, the major problem is the loss of structure in the jaw. This weakens the jaw, and could even cause a prematurely aged appearance. More importantly, this leaves the smile too weak for implants. Additional treatments could be necessary to strengthen the jaw in order to make dental implant placement possible! Fortunately, Doctors Network could help you schedule an appointment with a great Garland oral and maxillofacial surgeon who is in-network with individual dental insurance plans and offers ridge augmentation. In addition, we could also discuss our membership program to make dental care affordable!

Ridge preservation is also known as ridge augmentation. Essentially this enables the dentist to preserve the ridge in your gums. Your dentist could use a number of different options. We could take tissue from the back of the jaw or the hip. Donor materials such as freeze-dried bovine bone particles could also be used. Others recommend synthetic materials. Through oral surgery, these are applied to the areas of weakened structure in the mandible.

Once the area heals, biocompatible dental implants could be placed. The body will accept them as natural roots. As a result, they help prevent any further breakdown in the jaw, protecting facial structure. Our team can connect you to a dentist or oral surgeon in Garland, TX who offers ridge augmentation, and also let you know about our dental discount plan to make sure your care fits in your budget!

Tooth loss could lead to multiple complications for your smile. For example, this could impact how easily you eat your favorite foods, or how clearly you can articulate. But the most severe complication is the break down of structure in the jaw. The body decreases the flow of calcium and phosphate to the areas without tooth roots, which in turn causes bone loss and an aged appearance and weakens the structure significantly. Which means you may not be able to receive dental implants to address your missing teeth. But Doctors Network can connect you with a dentist in Garland, TX who can make smiles ready for implants.

As discussed in previous posts, a bone grafting procedure helps strengthen the mandible, so it can support dental implants. But what about the the upper area? Instead of adding new tissue, your Garland dentist could perform a sinus lift. Basically, the dentist will raise the sinus floor to generate new tissues. The new structure can support dental implants. Once the new teeth are secured, this stimulates the growth of bone tissue to prevent further breakdowns. Your new teeth then last for decades to come, possibly even a lifetime.

If you need to strengthen your weakened jawbone to support one or more dental implants, we could help. Our team can connect you with a Garland, TX oral surgeon who can address tooth loss and takes patients without dental insurance. When your smile is strengthened and ready, dental implants could provide a complete smile again. If you don’t have insurance, don’t let this stand between you and optimal oral health. Instead, talk to our team about our monthly membership plan. With a monthly fee, you can have treatments discounted by as much as 90% in some situations. A full smile is in your future!

You could have difficulty enjoying a variety of meal options, and speaking clearly could become difficult as well. But the most severe complication is the the weakening of the jaw. This means the stability of your smile is compromised. In addition, a prematurely aged appearance could arise! But help is available, as Garland dental professionals could discuss advanced prosthetics, such as bridges and implants, and select treatment options that could be covered with dental insurance.

Dental bridges could address a single gap in the smile. Dentures could replace the majority or all of your natural teeth. For a functional and effective prosthetic, you could find the best Garland dentists who perform implants. It is essential for children to visit a pediatric dentist on a biannual basis for checkups and cleanings. By teaching your kids great oral health habits, you are ensuring that they have the knowledge to have healthy smiles for many years. If you are looking for a dentist in Garland who takes uninsured patients, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering checkups and cleanings, pediatric dentists on Doctors Network also provide your little one with protective sealants. These are thin pieces of film that go over their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a protective layer between their molars and bacteria. This ultimately prevents the risk of cavities by up to 80 percent. It is a simple procedure that is very effective at preventing cavities in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another great tool that your kids’ dentists provide. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that helps strengthen your children’s teeth. While enamel is one of the strongest substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your little one’s teeth become more susceptible to cavities. This procedure helps mitigate this damage. Using high-fluoride toothpaste can also help. To learn more, we invite you to schedule an appointment with one of our network dental professionals in Garland.

From 1836 to 1845, Texas was its own independent nation, and it is the only state to have joined the U.S. through treaty rather than territorial annexation. Today, it is home to nearly 28 million people, making it the second most populous state (next to California) as well as the second largest (next to Alaska). Known as the Lone Star State, Texas’ independence and spirit has persevered throughout its history, and today’s Texans continue to do things their way. When it comes to dental health care, that means offering families across the state highly affordable alternatives to dental insurance through direct plans. Provided by your dentist in partnership with Doctors Network, a direct dental plan guarantees significant savings on all treatments that your dentist and oral health specialists provide, and it works whether or not you already have insurance coverage.
