Reina S.

I just recently started going to Dr. Drakeford. After my first appointment where she listened to my questions and concerns, she scheduled an appointment 3 days afterward for my crown prep and a temporary partial. I was worried about losing a tooth anchor for a filed 5 tooth bridge and not having a partial to make it look more natural until the treatment was complete. Dr. Drakeford took my concerns away and made me feel calm and comfortable. She had a new assistant who actually came in on her day off to help her with me. Friday was supposed to be her day off too, but she still came in and saw me. I left feeling very satisfied, and they were both very nice. The front desk staff was kind and caring. The office is very big and has the latest technology. They offer more operations than any other dentist in Dallas. The office is beautiful, and so is the art they hang up on the walls. I recommend this place, and I feel very lucky to have found them.

As children, we lose our baby teeth over time. However, in adulthood, losing teeth is caused by oral health issues. Periodontitis could be responsible as well. Since losing teeth at adulthood isn’t natural, this means issues with smile stability. You could have problems with nutritional intake. Problems articulating are a common consequence. Finally, you could risk impacting your smile, or even your facial structure. You need a permanent in-network dentist in Fort Worth, TX who can provide prosthetic dentistry. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help you on the road to a full smile.

First, we will help connect you to a friendly dentist near you. Then, your new dentist can inspect your smile to understand the factors behind your missing teeth. For minor cases, a dental bridge could be the best option, providing lifelike results. For multiple missing teeth, partials could offer a solution and rebuild your smile. Finally, a complete denture or CD could be custom-made. While most complete dentures and partials are removable, they could be stablized with tooth implants. Dental implants act as natural teeth, and preserve bone density in your jaw and facial structure following losing a tooth.

If you live in the Fort Worth area and have unsightly gaps in your smile, let us know. We can get you started on receiving the tooth replacement you need. Model-worthy teeth are within reach, even if you’ve suffered complete tooth loss, and even if many years have gone by since that happened!

P. S. Please congratulate our dental surgeons in Nashville, TN with us this week.

Nothing feels better than a full smile, but as we age, many of us struggle with the loss of natural teeth. Missing teeth could lead to trouble with eating and speaking, and can even lead to an older appearance. To treat tooth loss, people often turn to implants and fixed dentures. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as bridges or removable dentures, these are connected to posts that act as new roots. Crowns or even prosthetics like full and partial dentures are locked into these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but far much longer with proper care.

Are you ready to tackle your tooth loss with dental implants? If you are wondering how much a dental implant costs near Fort Worth, you are not alone, but first, you need to find a Fort Worth dentist who can offer implant dentistry. Doctors Network can help you with this, connecting you to a dentist who not only can address your tooth loss, but also takes walk-in patients. You can even register for a Doctors Network dental plan to reduce the cost of your procedure.

The dentist will take a close look at your smile. Underlying oral health concerns may need to be considered before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer replacement teeth that look and function like natural dentition!

A lot happens to our smile when we lose natural teeth. Obviously, there are problems with consuming solid foods. Even talking clearly could be a problem. However, the major problem is the loss of mass and density in the jaw. This weakens the jaw, and could even cause patients to look older. More importantly, this prevents dental implant placement. Additional treatments could be necessary to strengthen the jaw in order to make dental implant placement possible! Fortunately, Doctors Network could help you book an online appointment with a local Fort Worth oral and maxillofacial surgeon who is in-network with Doctors Network Dental Plan and offers ridge augmentation. In addition, we could also discuss our membership program to make dental care affordable!

Ridge preservation is also known as ridge augmentation. Essentially this enables the dentist to restore the lost structure in your mandible. Your dentist could use various sources. We could take tissue from the back of the jaw or the hip. Donor materials could be employed as well. Some opt for synthetic materials. In a surgical procedure, these are applied to the areas of weakened structure in the mandible bone.

Once the area heals, the dental implants could be placed. The body will see them as natural structures. As a result, they help prevent any further breakdown in the jaw, preserving your smile. Our team can connect you to a dentist or oral surgeon in Fort Worth, TX who offers ridge augmentation, and also let you know about our dental discount plan to make sure your treatment fits in your budget!

Tooth loss could lead to multiple complications for your smile. For example, this could impact your nutritional intake, or how clearly you can articulate. But the most severe complication is the loss of integrity in the jaw. The body reduces the flow of calcium and phosphate to the areas without roots, which in turn causes bone loss and the loss of youthful facial structure and weakens the structure significantly. Which means you may not be able to receive dental implants to address your missing teeth. But Doctors Network can connect you with a dentist in Fort Worth, TX who can make smiles ready for implants.

As discussed in previous posts, a ridge augmentation procedure helps strengthen the mandible, so it can support dental implants. But what about the upper arch? Instead of grafting, your Fort Worth dentist could perform a sinus lift. Essentially, the dentist will raise the sinus floor to induce the formation of new tissues. The new structure can support your new implants. Once the new teeth are secured, this stimulates the growth of bone tissue to preserve the area. Your new teeth then stay firm for decades, possibly even a lifetime.

If you need to strengthen your weakened maxillary jawbone to support a new smile, we could help. Our team can connect you with a Fort Worth, TX dentist who can offer a sinus lift and takes patients without dental insurance. When your smile is strengthened and ready, dental implants could provide a whole smile again. If you don’t have dental insurance, don’t let this stand between you and a complete smile. Instead, talk to our team about our Direct Dental Plan. With our Direct Dental Plan, you can have treatments discounted by as much as 90% in some situations. A full smile is in your future!

It is important for kids to visit a pediatric dentist every six months for dental visits and cleanings. By teaching kids great oral health habits, you are ensuring that they have the tools to have healthy smiles for ever. If you are looking for a dentist in Fort Worth who accepts private patients, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering exams and cleanings, pediatric dentists on Doctors Network also provide your kid with protective sealants. These are small pieces of BPA-free acrylic that dentists paint onto their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a barrier between their back teeth and harmful bacteria. This ultimately prevents the risk of tooth decay by up to 80 percent. It is a simple tool that is very effective at preventing the need for fillings in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another effective tool that your kids’ dentists provide. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that helps fortify your children’s enamel layer. While enamel is one of the most durable substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your little one’s teeth become more susceptible to dental caries. Fluoride treatment prevents this from happening. Using toothpaste that has fluoride can also help. To learn more, we invite you to schedule an appointment with one of our pediatric dentists in Fort Worth.

From 1836 to 1845, Texas was its own independent nation, and it is the only state to have joined the U.S. through treaty rather than territorial annexation. Today, it is home to nearly 28 million people, making it the second most populous state (next to California) as well as the second largest (next to Alaska). Known as the Lone Star State, Texas’ independence and spirit has persevered throughout its history, and today’s Texans continue to do things their way. When it comes to dental health care, that means offering families across the state highly affordable alternatives to dental insurance through direct plans. Provided by your dentist in partnership with Doctors Network, a direct dental plan guarantees significant savings on all treatments that your dentist and oral health specialists provide, and it works whether or not you already have insurance coverage.
