I had some awful experiences at my last clinic, and this visit was a night and day difference, so much so that I have already recommended Dr. Navre’s office to a few people I have come into contact with. The staff is friendly and professional. He didn’t make me feel guilty for the condition of my gums, which was great. I am already bringing my children to this clinic due to my incredible experience.

The office environment is so kind and inviting, yet they don’t make you feel like your bill went up tremendously just because you accepted a cup of water. They even took my old retainer and cleared it of all the plaque, and it appears to be as good as new. I have always been fearful about going to the dentist. As matter of fact, my child shows more courage than I do. This office run by Dr. Navre is different than any other I’ve been to. He is so friendly, up front, and will bend over backwards to assist you. The receptionist is warm and personable. I needed two fillings recently, and they numbed me so well I was unaware that they started and finished. I even got to watch one of my favorite Netflix shows. At my last routine cleaning, my hygienist, when looking at my x-ray, noticed a small gap on my crown, and after consulting with Dr. Navre, they decided to go ahead and redo it on the spot. Had they not noticed it or decided to take action, I could be in a lot of pain from the damage it would have caused. The new crown they put in its place is perfect. Dr. Navre has been absolutely incredible. I visited this office in Westbury twice to deal with quite the toothache, and they came to the deduction that I needed a root canal. I was so terrified at the thought, but the entire procedure was mostly pain-free. I wasn’t aware of it, but he used some numbing pads before injecting me, and while doing so squeezed my gum line, which caused me not even to realize that it had been done. They offered headphones to keep my mind off the procedure and kept reapplying vaseline to my lips to keep them from drying out. During the entire encounter, Dr. Navre had excellent chairside manner. He was continuously upbeat and engaging. He even hums sometimes while he works which I found somewhat comforting. That was easily the most relaxed I have ever been in a dental office; he is very skilled, and I know I’m in great hands when he is working on me. He is also frank and thorough when explaining his diagnosis and while giving you his recommendations. My mother is a hygienist in another state and told me what to keep an eye out for. She told me to stick with this office in Westbury.

At her past dentist, she always seemed to endure more anxiety and pain than she should have. At Dr. Navre’s clinic, the staff is so friendly, and you never feel rushed for time or to make a decision. Before I started coming to Dr. Navre I was a patient at another dentistry. I was always scared and/or in pain at that place, but my experience with Dr. Navre has always been wonderful. I thought that was pretty amazing, I feel like most doctors would never answer phones because it’s “beneath their pay grade.” He was very kind and answered all my questions. It was a great hygienist who did my x-rays smoothly and was very fun to talk to. Dr. Navre is very honest about the work that needs to be done in a “tough-love” sort of way, which I appreciated, I’m not one for sugar coating. He was very knowledgeable and willing to answer all my questions without getting impatient. The office is very clean, and the staff keeps up a professional appearance. The bathroom was clean as well. I wish I had found Dr. Navre sooner, he's great and I highly recommend him.
