Strongly recommended! I haven’t been to the dentist in forever, but after getting into a car accident, my wife made me go in. We read a ton of reviews on many different dentists, but after a friend recommended Dr. Rawlins at A & A Dental of Poughkeepsie, we decided to give her a shot. I am very pleased with this dental office. The staff was hardworking and kind. I was expecting a long wait time, but I was taken back to the exam room before I could even sit down. This Poughkeepsie dentist office was clean and beautiful, and very modern. Dr. Rawlins was kind and knowledgeable. I had a filling done, and it went by so quickly and with zero pain so that I didn’t even know it was over until Dr. Rawlins told me. I have had other dentists recommend procedures for me, so I asked her about them, and Dr. Rawlins was honest and thorough in her explanation. There were things she said we should, and other things that could wait or that weren’t necessary. I would recommend this place to anyone!

I haven’t been a patient at A & A Dental of Poughkeepsie for very long, but I already love this place. I’ve had a checkup, 4 fillings, and they even made me a night guard. The office is small, which can often scare people away, but what that really means is they can give you their utmost attention and care. It’s always calming here, and there’s a very welcoming feeling. All the staff is friendly, and Dr. Rawlins is very professional and kind. You can really tell she loves what she’s doing and cares about her patients. She will walk you through any procedure, showing you all the tools she will use. She’s always patient with all the questions I have for her. Scheduling an appointment has never been a problem here; they’re always wonderful on the phone. I’ve never had to wait long here. Your comfort is their top priority, so they provide their patients with Bluetooth headphones and lots of movies and stand up comedy shows that you can watch to keep you distracted from the work that’s being done if it makes you uncomfortable. DO NOT LAUGH WHEN YOU’RE GETTING A FILLING DONE. My teeth always look great, and Dr. Rawlins called me after I had my fillings done to make sure I wasn’t in any pain.
