I don’t know why anyone would ever write a negative review of Smile Care Center in Philadelphia. They have almost no wait time and everyone who works there is so sweet. My dentist, Dr. Thurber, is approachable, accessible, and honest, so you know you’re getting the best dental care. Other dentists I’ve had tried to get me to buy unnecessary services. You should be able to trust your doctor, but some you just feel like you can’t. You can definitely trust Dr. Thurber. He takes pictures and x-rays of your teeth, explaining anything he sees one tooth at a time and how he recommends handling any problems. He doesn’t force you to get a procedure, but he will write all his recommendations in your treatment plan so that you can schedule them when it’s convenient. Love it!

A few years ago, I had the best dental experience ever with Dr. Thurber at Smile Care Center in Philadelphia. My wisdom teeth were impacted and need to be removed. I was so scared, but he got them out in half an hour. After it was finished, I was terrified of feeling pain, so I took a pain pill he gave me and felt no pain at all. I kept waiting for the pain to hit me, but even after 10 hours, I will still pain-free. Instead of feeling miserable, I felt pretty great! I ate normally the next day and everything. I had it done on a Tuesday, and by the time Friday rolled around, I went out for Korean BBQ with no issues. My face never swelled up, and I never felt any pain.
