I'm very apprehensive about the dentist and was especially so after moving to New York. It is very hard to find a good dentist let alone one you can trust. Thankfully I have found my go to dentist in New York! The whole staff is very accommodating and are willing to help with any questions you may have about the Doctors Network plan. The plan is very straightforward which is great compared to dealing with insurance because if the details are not accurate you are in shock at how much you will have to pay out of your pocket. Dr Athanasiou is incredibly talented and detailed oriented. She will take this time to explain step by step what each treatment involves and put to rest any concerns. There is no pressure into deciding things immediately which I do enjoy since I tend to be on the road a lot due to work.

Dr. Athanasiou is phenomenal at what she does! She is very informative and precise. My family and I all go to Columbus Gentle Dental on the Upper West Side and love how they all remember us. They even go as far as to personally call and check in to make sure everything is okay. My son had a filling done recently and they called the following day to see how his bite was. The doctor and the staff are incredible and so accommodating. Even when I had to reschedule an appointment last minute. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Athanasiou to anyone looking for a five-star dental office.
