Dr. Winter is incredible! I initially scheduled an appointment because I had bleeding gums due to an impacted wisdom tooth that had caused an infection. The wisdom tooth was so deep in the nerve that it would not be able to be easily removed. Dr. Winter was very honest about my options. I could opt to try to have the tooth removed, but this could potentially lead to partial facial paralysis if the processed damaged the nerve even further. My second option was to have the infected gums removed. I didn't have insurance, so the price was about $450 to have the infected gums lasered off. I'm not going to lie and say that it was a painless experience, but I will say the painkillers that she prescribed worked. The hygienists, nurses, and receptionist were all incredibly kind. Overall, Dr. Winter and her staff Smile NY have impeccable customer service. I highly recommend them!

I have been a patient of Dr. Winter for multiple years and have always received exceptional care. After having some minor discomfort in a tooth for quite some time, I decided to go in to have it checked. Dr. Winter had been watching that tooth for a while. At my cleaning, X-rays revealed that I needed a root canal. I was incredibly nervous at first because I had heard of other friends who had had a root canal done, and they did not speak positively about the experience. However, they went to other dentists. I had the opposite experience. Dr. Winter gave me a prescription for painkillers, but I didn't even need it. She and her staff are the absolute best; everyone from the receptionist, to the assistants, to the hygienists, is absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend Dr. Winter to any of my family, friends, or co-workers without hesitation.

The best dental experience I have ever had was with Dr. Jacqueline Winter. I needed significant care after being involved in a bicycle accident on 4th of July weekend. I had really damaged my two front teeth and was not able to get ahold of my regular dentist. Dr. Winter was able to meet us at her office to perform cosmetic dental surgery the same day as my bike accident. I was really grateful that she was able to fit me in and appreciate that she went out of her way to help me fix my smile. It would have been very embarrassing to have to wait for the problem to be fixed, as we had big plans for the 4th of July. Without a doubt, Dr. Winter is the best dentist in New York. I grind my teeth, so I have had years of issues with bonding breaking on my teeth. One morning, I woke up with a chipped front tooth and realized I needed dental attention immediately. I called Dr. Winter’ office, and they were able to schedule me for a consult that day. Initially, they had told me that they wouldn't be able to fix the tooth until the following Monday because they were booked with appointments; however, Dr. Winter moved her other appointments around so that she could take care of me. I also appreciated how affordable the treatment was. I had called a couple other dentists prior to calling Dr. Winter, and the other dentists quoted me a price of over $500 more than what Dr. Winter charged. Even though they were fully booked for the next two weeks, she encouraged me to call back after 3 pm in case there was a cancellation for which they could squeeze me in. I have had issues with my health insurance, so I haven’t been the dentist in a while. Admittedly, I was very nervous. Dr. Winter was incredibly nice. She told me that I would need a night guard and that my insurance may or may not cover the cost. I want to keep my teeth strong in the long term, so I opted to get one, hoping it would also help the headcases caused by my teeth grinding at night.

If you’re terrified of the dentist, you need to call Dr. Winter of Smile NY. I had my first tooth extraction a few years ago, and yesterday, another wisdom tooth started to cause me pain. I called as soon as they opened, and they were able to schedule me for an appointment right after lunch that same day. Some of my friends have questioned why I’m willing to drive so far to go to the dentist when there are other dentists who are closer, but in my opinion, if you’ve found a dentist who provides the exceptional level of care that Dr. Winter does, the extra mileage is well worth it. Dr. Winter extracted two wisdom teeth yesterday. So far today I haven’t needed to take the painkillers she prescribed because I haven’t had any discomfort. I love the staff at Smile NY. They welcome you as soon as you step inside. The staff is very kind and informative. I look forward to seeing them at my upcoming appointment to have my last wisdom tooth removed. They deserve more than 5 stars!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Winter. I had gotten two implants done through my former dentist’s office, but one of the implants broke within a year. Dr. Winter is redoing my implant. She guarantees her work, whereas my previous dentist did not. While getting my routine cleaning, Dr. Winter fixed a spot on one of my teeth. Other dentists would have charged me for this, but she didn’t. She is so sweet. She also knows how to administer shots so that you barely feel a thing. I’m writing this review to share the positive experience I had when getting a crown put one. First of all, the office is immaculately clean and pleasantly decorated. The assistants are very personable. They take good care of you while you wait for Dr. Winter. They also have affordable payment plans. I was able to divide my bill into 3 payments to help ease the burden on my checkbook. I’ve been to two other local dentists recently (before finding Dr. Winter.) I have incredibly sensitive teeth, and neither of the other dentists was able to ease my pain or provide me a pain-free appointment. I asked Dr. Winter if she could do something a bit more effective than a local anesthetic, but she reassured me that the technique wouldn’t hurt and that it didn’t require anything stronger. I’d heard that from the previous two dentists, so I was skeptical, but she was right. I gave her a chance because I was desperate for the pain to stop, and she was able to cure me. I haven’t had any nerves on my follow-up visits. I now know I am in capable hands. This was the best root canal and crown procedure I’ve ever had. It was only one that has been painless. If you have dental anxiety or sensitive teeth, I highly encourage you to call Dr. Winter at her SmileNY practice. You won’t regret it.

I have to give a special shout out to the hygienist. She is kind, respectful, and easy to talk to. I had to bring my 2 year old son with me and she was very sweet to him. She let him sit down and kept him busy while I was getting my teeth cleaned. She gave him a ride in the dentist chair. He loved that it went up and down, he giggled the whole time. I can’t recommend this place enough, it’s always a wonderful experience.

Smile NY is the best dental office in Midtown New York. I hate going to the dentist, but Dr. Winter and his staff make my comfort their top priority. The staff is kind and knowledgeable.
