As a new patient at Hempstead Family Dental Care, the process from beginning to the end was great. They got me in a few days after I called them; the first visit was comprehensive right around an hour and a half, and it was pleasant. They then scheduled me to come back the next day to do some work on a problem area. Once the procedure was complete, Dr. Shah gave my entire mouth a look over and did some touch-ups to make sure my smile was perfect. He took his time to make sure everything was done to its highest quality. And now I cannot stop smiling.

I experienced a wonderful visit at the Hempstead Family Dental Care clinic this morning. The front desk attendants were very kind and attentive. I had some concerns about my health insurance, and they quelled my mind. I generally have sensitive teeth, and Dr. Shah was very gentle with them. He was extremely polite and very skilled and honest with his assessments. I’m also a fan of Dr. Shah’s sense of humor. The clinic was very sanitary, and the staff was beyond the epitome of professional. I highly recommend this New York office.

I have been blown away by this dental office. I was passing through the area when I experienced a dental emergency: my front tooth fell out. I gave Hempstead Family Dental Care a call, and Dr. Shah was able to squeeze me in within half an hour. An hour after my appointment I was as good as new. Dr. Shah impressed me so much that I requested him to work on my other teeth that have issues. Their prices are incredibly fair, and they don’t try to push you into unnecessary work to run up your bill. They get the job done and send you home. The office is also very clean, and it flows well. I wanted to have enough time to give a fair review before I shared my experience, and now I think I have that. The waiting room is very inviting, with comfortable seating and magazines. Going into the back room was very inviting too, with a comfortable dental chair, cable TV, and headphones that helped me watch an episode of Chopped while the hygienist cleaned my teeth. When I had my filling done I was too busy watching TV to really pay attention. I wasn’t in any pain at all while Dr. Shah fixed my teeth up. I didn’t even have a numb mouth when I was done, which was a giant plus! I could’ve eaten anything I wanted without fear of dribbling on myself or biting my tongue. I didn’t want to change dentists but I had to for insurance reasons after going to the same dentist for 30+ years, but I’m very pleased with Dr. Shah.

I was a bit nervous to get my orthodontic treatment in October 2015, but Dr. Shah made me feel very comfortable about the whole process. I’ve really enjoyed the whole process. Although it can be a tedious task to clean your teeth after eating anything, it has ultimately been worth it. I’m always eager each month to have my next appointment with Dr. Shah.
